Bugs were in my food and my fries were literally burnt to a crisp if I could give it 0 stars I would GET BETTER.

Food is fine, it's the curbside service that needs addressing. This is not the first problem I have encountered at this location. They don't seem to care about the customers that order curbside service. Today I waited over 15 minutes before walking in and asking where my order was. Their reply was "we don't have any curbside orders". Then a young man with a beard net own came and asked me what I needed. He reached around the corner behind the counter and said "are you Thomas ?" How can you tell me to "wait for meat to cook" then give me two undercooked patties. I understand it's late and you're tired maybe, but does anyone in this facility know the severity of consuming raw meats?! Maybe there needs to be a training lesson on proper cook temperatures. I'd give a zero star if possible! This location has consistently sucked for the last 20 plus years! We usually try to avoid at all costs! Tonight we went through to order a fry and cheeseburger, no one in front of us and after 12 mins of waiting to take our order we ask if anyone was there... she said hold... when we drove off, they were all gathered talking! Tastes as good as it ever has, but it almost doesn't even qualify as fast food anymore. They make you pull forward and wait 95% of the time, even if you just ordered a napkin they'll be like "umm, can you please pull forward to the second window? The napkin dispenser isn't working, but don't worry I'll make sure the person behind you gets their food first." In conclusion, mocha frappes are delicious, and for some reason their Coca Cola tastes better than the nectar of the gods. Also they occasionally won't get your order right, but sometimes they also give you more crap then you paid for. read more

Waited 20 mins in the drive thru for what should have been a very simple order, a coffee and a sausage McMuffin. I got the coffee but never got the muffin. I finally just asked for a refund because how can a muffin take that long? Manager seemed very perturbed that I was asking for a refund. I noticed other cars in front of me who had been asked to wait for their orders too. I'm sure they'd been waiting for at least 20-30 mins too, if not more. read more

I'll start with the positive. This place looks clean and it's not busy. The negatives: the poor wait person didn't know what was on the menu and confused other things. I agreed to the ranch salad because she insisted they didn't have a bacon ranch which was what was on the menu. Of course I got bacon on my ranch. If I could give it zero stars I would! The lady who took my order didn't have a great attitude especially for breakfast service I think that's a must! Secondly personal hygiene should be a big preference when working for fast food or any restaurants period. Thirdly when I wait for 15+ minutes in a 20 car pile up in the drive through then I should expect my order to be correct whenever it comes out the window. Which it wasn't! Even after waiting all that time I still had to go in and get my drink! And lastly if I wanted to repeat my order at the drive thru the check out window and the pick up window then what's the point of having the orders on the screen right in front of you! Drive thru was quick, the people were nice, the food was ready SO FAST, and it was hot and "fresh". Maybe something was updated between the other reviews and our experience ? This was the WORST mcdonald's that i have ever been to. these ladies were straight up on CRACK. they made us wait 5 minutes to take our order cause they couldn't find a pencil. it took them FOREVER to understand our order. we had to repeat it multiple times. once we got to the window, the ladies had no energy and were completely rude. to be honest, they looked like they did a couple of lines before their shift. they handed us two out of three of our drinks, and two bags. we asked for straws and our other drink, they handed it and we pulled away. we looked in the bag to see they didn't give us two of our fries and they completely messed up the burgers. we went around to fix this issue. the lady rolled her eyes and grabbed us our food, and completely forgot our other fry that we had asked for. i opened my burgers and they were covered in this brown liquid. there was no hiding this brown substance and i swear to god, if they shit in my burgers i will raise hell. there was also a bunch of liquid on the wrapper. when we went back around we literally repeated what was suppose to be on the burgers 3 times and she still wasn't understanding even though we kept repeating it. we didn't even wanna deal with it anymore and we pushed the inedible food to the side. i'm begging you to not go to this location. ive read reviews before and have said "that's not gonna be my experience" but i'm telling you that this is not a good mcdonald's and you should take the extra 5 minute drive to go to a different, better one. i will definitely be calling corporate once they open because this experience was unacceptable. read more

Usually this McDonald's is alright with the occasional cold burrito in the mornings which I look past..it happens everywhere. Staff is usually very friendly in the mornings (I only go for breakfast) when it's the normal crew. But three times this week I've had an issue. Wrong drink, no straw, deformed cup that the lid popped off and spilled coke all over my truck. IF THE CUP IS BENT AROUND THE RIM THE LID DOESN'T FIT. GET A NEW CUP FFS. Is not that hard. Especially when it isn't even busy. There's been other issues, but not 3 in a week and like i said used to be pretty sporadic, but it's starting to become more frequent. It's the only ff restaurant in kings mtn that isn't a total s**t show. Please fix it. read more

This was the worst McDonald's experience I've ever had and that's saying a lot. We had to pull up to a second window; the girl handed out our food and walked off as we were asking where our drinks were. I had to get out and go in to get our drinks. We pulled back onto the interstate and got our food. The fries were flat out inedible. The bun was as hard as a rock but it got worse. I thought I'd just take the bun off and eat the burger. The bottom bun had mold on it. We turned around and went back. The manager did not even pretend to be apologetic. I wouldn't recommend even getting a drink here. Went through drive-thru. The lady said, "Order when ready." (No greeting). Ordered a large coffee, 2 Splendas, 3 creams. The order taker rang up a small coffee. I tried to correct her. She told me to pull around. Went to pay and it was $1.07. Money-taker gave no greeting. Went to the third window. I was handed a large coffee (I ordered a large; they rang me up for a small). Literally the lady at the window said nothing to me. Nothing. I asked for a stir stick. She gave me one. Again, no words. Pulled around and parked in a parking space to stir my coffee. There was no Splenda in it. I walked inside and stood at the counter for a good 2 minutes before anyone looked at me. I finally said that I needed Splenda. The worker gave me some Splenda and told me to have a nice day. I interacted with four employees here. Nobody greeted me. Only one even told me to have a nice day. And my order was wrong. read more

Has anyone had trouble at the McDonalds on York Rd in Kings Mountain? I did this morning. I go there every weekend. The girl at the window was so rude! First she said to me "Did you order 2 sausage gravy biscuits?" I said yes but that is not my whole order. She said "Im not done giving you all of it yet! I know you ordered more!" With a bad attitude. Then she gives me my change and she dropped some change to the ground. She said "It was only a penny!" I sit there just because of how she was acting towards me! She said "What do you want?" I said what about the penny...and she said "I can't open the register back up for you!" I drove to the other window where the sweet guy always waits on me and told him she did not need to be working there! I told him I would call the manager later and I parked the car and ate my food. I tried calling the number on the receipt and there was a recording that the box was full!!!!! Then guess who showed up at my car! That rude girl giving me the penny back. She said she waited to bring me my penny! I could tell she was doing it just to be rude to me. I mentioned what she said to me at the window about my order and she said "I did not take your order!" I told her I just wanted her to repeat my whole order. She kept fussing at me and I told her that she is not to be arguing with a customer and I told her I was going to report her to the manager and she said "GO AHEAD!" We moved to Kings Mtn.several months ago....we have ate at this MC D's several times...breakfast items/and other items on menu....every time we have ate anything from here our food has been terrible...biscuit items ALWAYS cold...we have done special requests several times for darker bread/they didn't refuse to do this request...we sent them back to be fixed.....waited another 20 minutes and they gave us back the same ones we sent back...the attitude of workers are HORRIBLE...they act like we have some kind of bad disease ...slow,terrible service....if this is what kind of workers McD's employs then you need to have training sessions of customer service and how to serve good food...or..hire workers who want and need a job...we were there during the biggest times of day and there was hardly any one in the parking area and restaurant....I can understand why....we will not be going back and I will gladly tell everyone I meet not to go there....PLEASE...if you value a good customer base in this small town..fix these problems....I am appalled at the lack of service/attitudes of workers/and cold,untasty food.....McD's ..you're better than this....Thank you..Jim/Jan Owens read more
