The hostess and our waitress were incredibly friendly, and we shared plenty of laughs--she truly made the experience even more enjoyable. Then came the highlight of the meal: the burger. Simply put, it was the best burger I've ever had. Having lived in New York, Florida, and Colorado, I've tried my fair share of burgers, and this one stands above the rest. After my first bite, I turned to my friend and said, "I think I'm in heaven!" It was that good. I rarely eat red meat, but I'm already thinking about when I can go back--maybe even tomorrow. I asked the waitress/bartender how things were going and she said "I don't know, I've not been to the kitchen". It was about 5 more minutes before the food came out and we were watching the clock closely and Ben said we were about 5 minutes away from where we ended to be. We knew we needed to eat quickly even though we were just about 5 minutes away. Ben's chicken was just huge chunks that looked more like nuggets than slices of chicken. He said it was OK. My salad was OK, they didn't have iceberg lettuce it was only romaine even though I told her I would like the mix, I didn't get it. I don't know what that's such a hard ask.
