I love this place! Breakfast is on point. They will customize anything no issue. They open early and will fix lunch burgers etc for breakfast if you wish. Long time employees treat everyone well. Easy street parking on Main Street in Cherryville. Handicap parking within feet of the door. Your coffee or drink will never get low. They even give you a to go cup (full) for your beverage. Prices are very reasonable. When you realize you see a lot of the same people there eating each time you go you know they come back for a reason. Cherryville is a small town. If you're in the area check this place out. Has gone downhill since my review. Seems to have cheaped out on product. Not many breakfast non chain options in Cherryville. read more

This place really is more of a 4.5. This is the type of place that you can tell they have had the same people still eating here after 30 years. I ordered the 2 eggs soft scrambled with cheese and the cook nailed it. They have some of the best sausage around, the corned beef hash could have been cooked a little longer but it was tasty. And definitely get a biscuit instead of toast. The staff is very friendly and so are the people. If you are ever in the area give it a go, I don't think you'll be disappointed. read more

Instead of tartar sauce with my fish, I recieved sour cream. We've eaten here twice, during breakfast hours. Both times, I got the ham and cheese omelet with hash browns and toast. The size of the omelet was rather skimpy in size, but tasted ok. It would taste better if they used real shredded cheddar instead of the processed imitation singles. The hash browns are identical to the ones you get at McDonald's, except these were way greasier. The toast was your run of the mill toast. It wasn't burnt so I was happy with it. Overall, it was reasonably priced. I do plan to return sometime for lunch and/or dinner. Hopefully then I can give a more favorable review. read more

I would not recommend this restaurant...since I will never go there again. We ordered what I was hoping to be a great meal from the crowds of people I have seen in there when we drove by. The service was good....food...not so much. The toast was lukewarm like it had been sitting out, grits had started turning solid around the edges so no go for them. I tried the eggs and pulled out a hair long enough to wrap around my finger...and still be in the eggs like it was scrambled in there. I returned my plate to the waitress and showed her the hair and told her the problems with the rest of the plate. I declined her offer of anything else. At the checkout counter we explained the problem to the lady taking our money. She said she already knew about it and all we had to pay for was the other breakfast. In an act of good will I would have thought she would have said she was sorry and hoped that we would come back again...maybe even telling us we did not have to pay for my husbands breakfast. They lost us as customers since we will not be back. read more
