Love the Pancake House! I try a new omelette every time I go and every omelette has been delicious. This visit I got the Aloha Omelette with hash browns, Texas toast and a side of queso. My husband got the meat lovers omelette with home fries and biscuits with gravy. We go here every Sunday after church and even though it is always packed they still get you in quickly. I used to love coming here because the food was wonderful, seasoned and tasty. The service used to be friendly, fast and fun. However, the last few times I've been here, the staff is rude, disrespectful and uncaring. The food has been cold, tasteless and not as ordered and the staff would do nothing about it. After finishing a 10k Spartan race nearby, I was famished and in need of quick, delicious eats, served with a smile. Pancake house had all of the above. We were seated promptly, served speedily. I'd like to start off by saying the waitresses and hostesses have always been incredibly pleasant and sweet to me. The food is some of the best I've ever had, and it pains and saddens me to leave this review. I've been a patron of this establishment for 30 years. When I call in my order they know my name. After today, I will no longer be visiting this restaurant of my own accord. And it's over packets of ketchup. I use a lot of ketchup, and I mean a lot. To most I'm sure it's excessive. But with that they have always give me a fair amount. A few months ago they told me they would have to start charging me extra for ketchup. I said that's perfectly fine, and I started paying extra. Again I love this place so very dearly, so a few extra dollars for ketchup never sat too terribly wrong with me. About a month ago they stopped charging me extra. I didn't think much of it, and even asked about it and was told to not worry about it. This morning I was told that the employees were told just to not give me ketchup, and the girl apologized and said that some people can just be rude about things. I was willing to pay extra, but being seemingly bad mouthed by management for wanting extra ketchup to the point where the employees are apologizing because they know I'm a dedicated regular just doesn't sit well with me. If the owners or management or whoever is willing to lose customers over packets of ketchup, then I wish them the absolute best of luck. I can't speak highly enough of the waitresses and employees, and I hope everything works out. read more

On 22 Dec. 2025 "TERRIBLE DISRESPECT" ...thought I'd send funds I don't have and treat myself to a nice breakfast. At 10.30 AM stopped at the Pancake House, there was a reasonable crowd ..certainly not packed. About 2/3's occupied. I was seated promptly, waitress seemed stressed as there didn't seem to be enough staff. I had no problem waiting to order or for my meal ...food is very good but 8 bucks for one waffle is a bit steep. Got my one waffle, no silverware ...waited and tried to flag down a waitress but they were busy. By the time I was able to get silverware ..the meal was COLD. OK ...I eat and looked and look and no bill ...again, tried to flag down a waitress but to no avail... and no bill ..I went to the check out and told the girl exactly what I had ...she was very snippy... ran back to my table and grabbed the invoice which the witness left AFTER I had waited ..got no invoice and went to pay my bill ...the young girl at the cash register came back with my invoice saying: "It was right there on your table." I tried to explain ..it was NOT there ....that I had waited a long time but the waitress left it AFTER I had lost patients waiting ...the young lady at the cash register refused to accept the truth ..instead insisted the "Bill" was on the table right in front of me. SO.... I guess I'm LIAR! I've done 2 decades of foreign aid work in 3rd world countries ...where everyone REVERES elderly. This young lady at the cash register needs to learn ...RESPECT for older folks. I wouldn't return to the Pancake House for any reason. America is now engages in TOXIC DISRESPECT especially of older folks ....it's time ALL older folks speak up against disrespectful conduct ....oh the waitress was very respectful ..just very busy. I understand. The young check out girl was NOT busy ...just plain RUDE! I can eat cold food ...but I won't accept DISRESPECT from a snippy youngster who has no manners. read more

Waitstaff was very friendly and efficient. Food was unfortunately, underwhelming. Under seasoned and small portions.

We really enjoyed our breakfast and the price is perfect. Waitress Anna was super friendly and working hard. The potato's could have been a little hotter but overall it was a nice breakfast. They have a buffet on sundays but we didn't dive into that. Friendly staff. Will be back. read more

Late breakfast with our 8 year old grandson. Serve was quick and very helpful. He ordered the pigs in a blanket and they are huge. The waitress did warn us. Pancakes are fluffy and delicious. We also ordered an omelette with hashbrowns, breakfast platter with eggs bacon and grits. My husband loves that they leave a pot of coffee on the table. Everything was piping hot. What a great breakfast only had about a 7 min wait. Service is prompt and table and restaurant very clean. Coffee pot is left on the table so you can refill yourself. Eco friendly with paper straws and recycled paper napkins. Food was hot and served quickly would definitely come back and recommend to friends. read more

Wow! We stopped here on our way from Charlotte to the mountains. Such a great family place. Also, it's very reasonably priced. Forgot to snap pics of the food before we dug in, apologies. The biscuit sandwiches are the way to go in terms of bang for your buck. But everything we had was awesome. Tara was a great waitress too, we even got to try out the livermush.
