Used to be a 4 start place but last two times it took our table of 4 40 minutes to get our breakfast.

Food was good and service good. Prices very misleading up charge on many choices. Bathroom too cold and restaurant to cold but clean.

Sam was our server and she was amazing -- super attentive and made sure I got my order in just before breakfast ended . To start, I had a cortadito and a ham & cheese croqueta -- both were the perfect warm-up for my taste buds. For my main, I ordered a ham, egg, and cheese sandwich with pepper jack cheese and asked if the ham could be warmed up. Sam made sure it came out just right! Hubby had a glass of fresh orange juice and two rellenos de papa (potato balls) -- and let me tell you, those were ! The food was soooo good -- seriously, the eggs were perfectly fluffy, even inside the sandwich . Just thinking about it now makes my mouth water! Later, I ordered a café bonbón but asked for the espresso to not be sweetened -- and it hit the spot perfectly. Smooth, rich, and bold . The only tiny hiccup was the whipped cream on the tres leches cake -- it had a bit of a chemical taste, which was a little off. But the cake itself was still solid! I really loved the palm trees and decor, which gave the place such a laid-back, tropical vibe. My only suggestion would be to maybe brighten it up just a bit -- it felt a little dark inside, so a touch more lighting or a fresh color palette could really enhance the atmosphere. Sam also told us about the fun events and live bands they host -- I definitely want to come back and check those out!

The waitress was new & didn't speak much English, but she had help & was nice. The ambiance was tranquil & nicely decorated accompanied with vibrant colors. Overall, everything was delicious, and I will definitely return to this restaurant!

This is a converted home and really cute, I imagine if it was cold out they'd have the centrally located fireplace going, as is the AC was a welcome treat. We ordered a Southwest style omelette with hash browns and another two orders with French Toast, one with bacon the other with smoked sausage. The omelette was great, maybe bigger than expected, but that's always better than the alternative. The French Toast was also great, perfectly toasted with a nice batter. About the only complaint I can say is the server was a little overwhelmed and my dad had to go get the syrup. I would definitely recommend going for breakfast if you're in the area. Also, we had hash browns that good without have to ask that they be extra crispy.

A farmhouse atmosphere outside and in. This is an historic farmhouse. When we were there the dining…read moreroom was filled with smoke from the kitchen. So, the ambiance was amazing, the it smelled, hence the 4-stars. The service was fine, not stellar. They were busy with a full dining room and folks waiting for to-go orders. A local waiting on her order, was kind enough to chat while I waited on the one stall bathroom. She was so enthusiastic about the cafe I had to ask if it was her's. Nope. She ate there so often they knew her name and order. Nice endorsement. Our food was fresh, tasty, and plentiful. I'd order my cheesesteak sandwich again. It was a perfect balance of ingredients. My son's veggie quesadilla was loaded with garden fresh veggies. A hearty meal. My husband enjoyed the shrimp and grits, but his experience was that it was a delicious shrimp and grits chowder, not the usual grits topped with sautéd shrimp and a light sauce. Next time, we'll go in the fall and enjoy our meal outside. This is a great local stop. Try it. You'll enjoy it.

Fresh Egg - Where Diets Go to Die (Happily)…read more Our group of 4 1/2 (yes, somebody only ate half their plate because self-control showed up late ) walked into Fresh Egg thinking we were just grabbing breakfast... and walked out needing a nap and a moment of silence. Let's talk FOOD. That omelet? Fluffy like it trained at egg boot camp. Stuffed with sausage, ham, bacon, cheese basically the Avengers of breakfast. The home fries were crispy golden cubes of perfection. Not soggy. Not greasy. Just straight-up breakfast excellence. The ham slices were thick and flavorful like they meant business. That biscuit sandwich? Soft, buttery, and holding everything together like a breakfast superhero. And those cheesy grits? Creamy enough to make you emotional. Add melted cheddar and it's basically Southern comfort in a bowl. Portions? Generous. Flavor? Elite. Coffee? Flowing like we were at a caffeine convention. Now let's talk about Jonathan Jonathan delivered AMAZING service. Attentive without hovering, friendly without being forced, and on top of everything like a breakfast conductor running a delicious orchestra. Drinks stayed filled, food came out hot, and he made sure our whole crew felt taken care of. That kind of service turns a good meal into a great experience. The vibe inside? Busy, lively, happy breakfast energy everywhere. You can tell this is a spot people return to again and again. Final verdict: We came hungry. We left full. We left smiling. And yes... we'll be back. Fresh Egg you cracked the code.
