Honestly this is not a bad place but there is room for improvement for people to want to frequent this location more often. A $15 cover charge per person is steep, but its not insane. However, if a person gets bottle service that cost should be applied to the service. It makes no sense to pay $30 for two people and a further $350 for bottle service. Wouldnt a person be more inclined to do so if you said "Do you want a table? We apply the cost of your wristbands to the bill?". I feel more people would say "YES DO IT!" I went to hotel discotheque not too long ago and overall had a lot of fun. The sophisticated ambiance really makes a big difference, specially in the Alamo city. I am however disappointed because I ordered three Don Julio shots and was served something else. I know my Don Julio tequila and the shots tasted like 'house' tequila, in a Don Julio bottle. And of course payed the Don Julio price. Just something to be careful with. Clients are smarter than that. I did bring it up to the girl serving them and completely ignored me. The time that I went which was on a Saturday night and it was bad all they played was old school rap mixed with very little Reggaetón and other genres that didn't mix well at all. Also no one was on the dance floor everyone was just spread out and drinking not even dancing. This club was lame don't go here. The staff was nice to me though so that's why I'm giving 2 stars. I also heard a lot of bad things from some locals about this place (a couple girls went missing) so be carful where and who you get your drinks from! read more

Pleasantly surprised. The staff here were all super kind to me and my friends, the manager was a great manager. It was VIP night, which I'm still not sure what that meant. But it was a good time. It's a little confusing but it works, the area is fun and they have a small side bar with piano. I didn't know it was going to be latino music, so I was extremely surprised when I got there, but I had a great time. Only thing I think, is that it seemed like a lot of the customer basis was very young, just turning 21 if even. But other than that I had a great time. read more

Visited this place for my birthday on a recommendation of a friend. This place was a great choice and recommendation. We arrived and the only negative I have and reason for my my 4 stars is that the club opened at 10 and we had to wait outside in the cold til almost 10:30pm. Other than this, the club had a great feel and overall a great amount of servers and hostesses that were ready to and willing to help which was good to see. I've been here several times and every time a fight breaks out between the waiters and clients. The bouncers are extremely aggressive and attack customers, I've personally witnessed 2 beatings between a bouncer and an innocent teenager. I would stay away from this club, definitely not worth it. Furthermore, the music is extremely repetitive and gets old very quickly. I honestly thought this place was good back when it opened in 2017 but it has gone DOWNHILL in the past few years. We used to LOVE coming to Hotel. There used to be one smaller video lounge room where they played Spanish music. And then there was the LARGE main room where they played house/ EDM music. Hadn't been in awhile, but decided to go last night. While we were in line, all the employees kept asking us if we had a reservation. We all thought that meant they were asking if we got a VIP table. We all kept telling them no. So we continued staying in line, got our green wristbands still not being told what it meant. Right as we got inside to pay cover, the employee charged my friend $16 and told her to go outside. Once I heard that, I said no we want to stay in. The employee said well you have green wristbands so that means y'all go outside in the patio area. Inside area is for those who have a reservation. So this employee tells us what the rules are AFTER my friend pays? Also, what kind of discrimination is this????? So we pay cover just to go back outside??? And drink with just the DJ and a few cocktail tables? Lol. Stupid!! Who came up with that logic?? We asked for the manager because NO ONE explained to us what the rules were and I wanted to get my friend's money back. She got her refund and we immediately left to Burnhouse. Idek why they changed the inside so much where it looks like there's barely any room to fit 100 people.. Place is ran by amateurs. Don't go. We had an awesome time at Burnhouse. I decided to come to this place for my 21st birthday and they kicked my entire party out for absolutely no reason. As you might imagine, I wanted to get a drink for my 21st birthday and they told me they did not feel comfortable serving me. We were then asked to leave after all 10 of my friends and I paid the $22 cover fee. They were very rude and would not give us a refund even though we were only inside for about 5 minutes. This was all a scam for them to get money if you ask me and I believe they had no intention of serving me or my friends. Definitely making this place my new regular place for a night out! The atmosphere is amazing. It has a more quiet lounge area for a more relaxing experience, and features live music if you come at the right time. The other side features the wild club scene and dance floor. Had the time of my life! Bottle service is incredible and you'll know it when you see it. Management is professional and very welcoming. Cool venue with performers and good music. The drinks were strong. My only complaint is how strict the dress code is for men. We got turned away for dress shorts and several groups of other people did as well. I can understand no basketball shorts, but no dress shorts in Texas??? It's not that high-end of a venue. Missed out on returning customers who were excited to come. As others mentioned, the bathrooms were really quite awful. Really nice venue for big EDM concerts but I wouldn't really recommend it otherwise. This place is nice and has the crowd. But so many downfalls that i won't be returning! The guys at the doors were nice but the guys in the hall way were very fucking rude. They constantly pushed us when we would turn around to see if our friends were behind us, would touch your back when walking by to push you and we asked one of the "security" where the patio doors where and he didn't even respond with words he pointed and gave us an ugly look. Couldn't have been more disappointed with this place. Turned away at the door for a friend not wearing dress shoes. Go back with dress shoes only to find a few dozen people inside with sneakers on. According to the bouncer, if you know someone in management you are let in regardless. Some people are charged a cover, others are not (all over 21, all in after 11). Drinks are different prices at different bars. Later in the crowd, get pushed by a bouncer telling me to move when there's literally nowhere to go. The manager behind the bar tells me I have 20 minutes before I buy my last drink, then not 5 minutes later the same bouncer comes up and takes the drink out of my hand. I'm not stupid I don't park valet when the parking lot is 20 feet from the door and is free vice paying valet. Please stop with your imitation, you can't even match up with places on the Riverwalk much less LA and Vegas. Stayed about an hour to see if it was decent and saw how they treated the people running the casino tables like trash too. I pay 10 dollars to get in this place, which is over priced for San Antonio, hung out for a while with my girlfriend and other friends. I was DD for a few of those friends so I did not drink. Around 1 am, I see my girlfriend get grabbed and secluded by a bulky guy in black. I was about 8 feet away on the other side on my friend, there were about 15 of us. I could not hear anything the guy was saying because of the music and the distance I was. Being the good guy I am, I walk over and got in front of the guy. I did not know who he was or what he was doing, so I ask "what's wrong" mind you I am sober and a level headed person. The guy yelled back at me "I'm not talking to you." I assumed he was a bouncer. I stated that I was with her and just wanted to understand what was wrong. He just kept yell at me tell she has to leave now, never gave me any explanation and I just wanted to know what happened. Never going to this place again, there are so much better place to go in San Antonio that will treat their customers with respect. read more
