This was my first time at the Angry Elephant, and it made a great impression right away. My buddy and I were greeted at the door by the owner, Chip, who was incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome from the start. He took the time to explain the bar's theme and share a bit about the place, which added a nice personal touch. The atmosphere felt like a neighborhood sports bar with a unique political twist, and everyone there was just as welcoming as Chip. The staff was attentive, the service was excellent, and the overall vibe made it easy to relax and enjoy the experience. I'll definitely be back.

Great opportunity to meet our senate primary candidate! Fun environment with good drinks, attentive bartenders and variety of bar food.

Another great Wednesday night live trivia. Great trivia host @ Challenge Entertainment.

New Chairs!!!

Me and my partner love coming to this place. The atmosphere is great. The bartenders are amazing and manager Mike takes care of the customers. With the recently installed skill machines, he purchased custom chairs for the regulars that come and play. Thank you for allowing a safe environment for people to have a good time. The customer appreciation crawfish broil was a big hit. If you're wanting some mini corn dogs or some amazing wings, you should definitely check this place out.

Really cool sports bar. There's pool, karaoke stage and a full menu. The bartenders were friendly and attentive. My only quibble is that the Philly cheesesteak barely had any meat in it...which is why one gets a Philly. Other than that, I enjoyed a glass of wine across from my favorite President!

Great place to go with a group of friends, have a beer/cocktail and watch sports on multiple big screen tv both inside and outside the tavern. I liked the funny political theme decor you will see around the place and on their menu. Both parties are treated equal in their decor. Wasn't a fan of their service or food. Tried the LBJ Chili Cheese Texas Works Dog and it was okay. Looks great but surprising dry. Then tried their "famous" wings and it was average. The menu says they're large wings but it's the same size as something you can get at Wing Stop. Due to ordering food during shift change, there was confusion on if our party paid or not as no one bothered to ask. If you just want a trendy place to go to and have a beer to watch the big game then definitely try Angry Elephant. Food price is on the higher side you may see at restaurants but with the taste of regular bar food.

Waitress came by quickly. No specific specialty drink - which I typically try when visiting a new bar. It was loud but not overly so. There is one big tv and a few small ones. The old Fashioned was good. We might be back.

However, when we arrived (and throughout our meal) the dining room occupancy never reached 50%-fyi! I requested a booth, but we had to switch shortly after we were seated because the table was SERIOUSLY wobbling whenever we touched it. The Calamari was just, meh...maybe because it was prepared unlike I'd ever had before. I ordered the "Stuffed Salmon" and as U can see, it didn't meet expectations-plus it was small for the price. My fiancée ordered the Pasta Flight and immediately discovered that it was more than she'd bargained for. Overall, it was tasty, with the exception of the chicken-which was dry. She also had to request fresh bread because they were all so hard. Also, our entrees were extremely late to arrive, based on the crowd-over 30 minute wait!!! Our waitress was pleasant but apologized a lot for the few issues. The ambiance was elegant & date night-ish, so we may return...

We started at the bar, where the drinks were excellent--a perfect way to kick off the celebration. Once we sat down for dinner, the food was truly outstanding. We got 3 appetizers that were all wonderful; calamari, feta cheese dish, and endless bread. Calamari was my favorite, I highly suggest it! For dinner a friend of mine and I decided to split the beef flight, which was not only delicious but incredibly generous; we actually had plenty left over. If you go, definitely do not miss the Beef Wellington. It was easily my favorite part of the meal. I highly recommend this spot if you are looking for a top-tier dining experience. Very nice atmosphere inside the restaurant as well.

I finally put it on this year's schedule and planned to go with a group of ten. But, as the day drew nearer, folks just started cancelling for various reasons, until we finally ended up with a party of five today. When we arrived, I was surprised at just how much of a "bar and grill" this was. I started getting nervous about the food. I know we've all been to bars that had horrible food before. Fortunately, this is not one of those bars. The food here was really good. We started with an order of fried mushrooms served with gravy and deviled eggs. I'm not a fan of fried food, but the others all seemed to enjoy them. There was a huge mound of them that all but disappeared. I opted for the deviled eggs- one of my favorite foods. These were topped with a crunchy strip of bacon and served with a pile of pickled jalapeno slices. The were super delicious! On our member's recommendation, I tried the orange chicken served with fried rice for my entree, as did two others. I was overwhelmed with the gobs of food the server sat in front of me. There were at least twenty bite-sized nuggets of chicken sitting on top of a bed of fried rice. That bed was obviously a California King! They were lightly covered in the orange sauce, but still crunchy. It was a very satisfying meal. I had the other half for supper, and it was almost as delicious heated up in the microwave. One of our people had a pepperoni pizza. It was probably about 18". The crust was amazingly thin. It just looked awesome to me. My friend enjoyed it, but carried a lot home with her. The fifth person in our group had the Reuben sandwich. She said it was delicious, but was put off by the amount of fat on the meat. Encore makes their own pastrami. The chef explained to her that the fat on the pastrami was what most people thought made it such a delicious meat. I know it looked great to me. I will most likely have that next time I visit, and there will be a next time.

She got me the blackjack chicken, but with the chicken breast fried instead of grilled on the sandwich and then the waffle fries that came with. I tossed everything into the air fryer at our house to heat it up and crisp it. And then the sandwich I added Tabasco sauce to it Having done those things the meal was very good without those things. It was a little bit of the struggle but again I figure that was par for the course with take-home food. That being said, my wife went to Georgia for undergrad and they have the football watch parties here and she was raving about how nice and welcoming. Everybody was both service at this place as well as the other people who put on the Georgia watch parties so I feel like I'm going to suck it up And go not suck it up in the sense of the restaurant suck it up in the sense of I did not go to Georgia. I ordered the fried catfish while she went with the steak sliders and a margarita. The catfish plate was impressive -- plenty of lightly battered catfish piled on top of a huge serving of waffle fries. The fish was cooked just right, not overly fried or greasy, and it definitely filled me up. I would absolutely order it again. My wife wasn't as impressed with the steak sliders, and we both agreed her waffle fries were a little too salty. On the positive side, she really enjoyed her margarita, which helped make up for the meal a bit. One thing we both really appreciated was that they offer a 15% discount for Military and Veterans, which is always a nice gesture to see. Overall, it was still a good first experience. I'll definitely be back for the catfish, and my wife said she'd try something different next time. Nice atmosphere, good service, and worth checking out if you haven't been before.
