Latest brunch spot to take the cake for me. Build your own omelette station, $3 BUILD YOUR OWN, bloody mary station with a large assortment of things to decorate your bloody mary with. The bartenders are very good at making drinks and funny/full of spirit. The art and deco of the restyling of this former hangar location gives a hipster feel, but also art deco bar. I really enjoy the beers available, more cans than draft, but the selection is VAST! The music on brunch days is loud and wakes you up with the delicious food and drinks. I heard Juvenile back that A** up and knew this place wasn't the normal brunch place, but wayyyy cooler!

Attended their St Patrick's day crawfish boil. It was great!!!! Aside from the restroom having water all over the floor it was a lot of fun. The event was well executed with ample amount of space for everyone to drink and eat!!!

Sunday brunch day with wifey. Chicken and waffles, build your own BM, home made biscuits & gravy, not too shabby guys and gals-

New menu selections on the best brunch spot wifey and I've found in the N side. The bar was busy but not over the top the top for a Sunday morning. We were greeted and served up the following pictured delicious creations quickly and professionally. The tamales were on point as usual. Thanks guys and gals for making last nights life decisions feel better. See you next time.

I ordered the fried catfish while she went with the steak sliders and a margarita. The catfish plate was impressive -- plenty of lightly battered catfish piled on top of a huge serving of waffle fries. The fish was cooked just right, not overly fried or greasy, and it definitely filled me up. I would absolutely order it again. My wife wasn't as impressed with the steak sliders, and we both agreed her waffle fries were a little too salty. On the positive side, she really enjoyed her margarita, which helped make up for the meal a bit. One thing we both really appreciated was that they offer a 15% discount for Military and Veterans, which is always a nice gesture to see. Overall, it was still a good first experience. I'll definitely be back for the catfish, and my wife said she'd try something different next time. Nice atmosphere, good service, and worth checking out if you haven't been before.

The only reason the chunks were partially held together was because of the cheese on it. Obviously not juicy at all, but the toppings and bun were good. My favorite thing on the menu is the ahi salad, and I like a lot of the appetizers as well as the Sunday drink specials,, but this burger (pic of leftover burger crumbs) was impossible to eat. A huge disappointment, but I didn't want to send it back and not eat with my son or to piss the cook off.

One of our members has been recommending this place for two years as a venue for our monthly…read moreretirement luncheons. I finally put it on this year's schedule and planned to go with a group of ten. But, as the day drew nearer, folks just started cancelling for various reasons, until we finally ended up with a party of five today. When we arrived, I was surprised at just how much of a "bar and grill" this was. I started getting nervous about the food. I know we've all been to bars that had horrible food before. Fortunately, this is not one of those bars. The food here was really good. We started with an order of fried mushrooms served with gravy and deviled eggs. I'm not a fan of fried food, but the others all seemed to enjoy them. There was a huge mound of them that all but disappeared. I opted for the deviled eggs- one of my favorite foods. These were topped with a crunchy strip of bacon and served with a pile of pickled jalapeno slices. The were super delicious! On our member's recommendation, I tried the orange chicken served with fried rice for my entree, as did two others. I was overwhelmed with the gobs of food the server sat in front of me. There were at least twenty bite-sized nuggets of chicken sitting on top of a bed of fried rice. That bed was obviously a California King! They were lightly covered in the orange sauce, but still crunchy. It was a very satisfying meal. I had the other half for supper, and it was almost as delicious heated up in the microwave. One of our people had a pepperoni pizza. It was probably about 18". The crust was amazingly thin. It just looked awesome to me. My friend enjoyed it, but carried a lot home with her. The fifth person in our group had the Reuben sandwich. She said it was delicious, but was put off by the amount of fat on the meat. Encore makes their own pastrami. The chef explained to her that the fat on the pastrami was what most people thought made it such a delicious meat. I know it looked great to me. I will most likely have that next time I visit, and there will be a next time.

Stopped by after a run. This was our first visit…read more We tried the Chicken fried deviled eggs and Mom's meatball sandwich (Happy Hour special). Both were delicious but because I didn't have my reading glasses, I mistakenly thought there was a tiny pice of fried chicken on top of the egg whites. Instead, the egg white is breaded and fried. LOL. It was delicious but not enough protein for me so I ordered the 4 piece chicken tenders. OMG, the pieces of chicken were huge compared to with elsewhere. Everything was nice and hot and perfectly cooked. The chicken was nice and juicy. Yum! Service was fantastic. Lucy Cooper's Ice House is definitely a laid back sort of place. A good place to stop for a beer, some low-keyed food and maybe play pool or darts.

The waitress was attentive and checked on everyone frequently I ordered the Blazin Glory Wings which I thought was really good. I did not care for the queso they served and recommend getting something else Later on, I asked them to put on the Yankee game and changed the channel at my request. Just wish there was a better outcome to the game. At night when it is colder, you will find that they have some really nice fire pits that you can sit by while enjoying a beer. I recommend this restaurant for good service and good chicken wings.

We had a bad experience in the past but the restaurant had turned itself around with new management. Since then, we started to come all the time again, especially during Crawfish season. I frequently buy 1-2 pounds of crawfish and my husband 1 pound of shrimp so we are VERY familiar with the portions expected. Two visits ago, I ordered 2 pounds of crawfish but the portion appeared closer to 1.5 pounds but my server said that ai was the only table that ordered 2 pounds so it was correct. I let that slide. I decided that in the future, I would order 1 pound and order another pound later to ensure that I can see the exact portions. Yesterday, I stopped by after a long run. I ordered 1 pound of crawfish and my husband ordered 1 pound of shrimp ($21.99 for 1 pound and $13.99 for 1/2 pound). When our order came, the portions were half of what was expected. I approached the front manager. He took to the back and weighed it, we receive 1/2 pound each but was charged 1 full pound. To fix it, they remade the order and to our surprise, added the wrong weight portion at no extra charge. Because of that, I did not post of what felt like the kitchen cheating the customer. Today, we returned. I had a free Chicken Tender coupon so after running 12 miles felt it was a good time to use the coupon, enjoy a margarita and my favorite, crawfish. Thinking yesterday was a fluke, we expected the correct portion size. Well, stupid me. Again, the crawfish came out with the portion size smaller than expected. I just asked if my waitress could weigh it. Nothing more, nothing less. The kitchen manager came out and spoke down to me that I do this all the time. And he was NOT going to weigh it. First of all, yesterday was my first time demanding our crawfish and shrimp to be weighed and we were indeed cheated. The way I was spoken to was definitely not appreciated. Being someone who order a a pound of crawfish from different establishments, I know what a pound should look like. Did they weigh the potato and corn as part of the crawfish (or shrimp)? If so this is a new practice and false advertisement. Should we be charged $10,99 a pound with the crawfish or $21.99 pound with the shrimp. We think NOT! The only reason why we come to Willie's is because of the great margarita deals. So, if you are okay with the kitchen at this establishment cheating you on your meal, feel free to come here. We will no longer be coming to this Willie's. It is NOT the only Willie's in town. F we get the same treatment at other Willie's then it is a Corporate issue and we will eat elsewhere. Stay tune for my update. Yes, I really would love to hear from a higher level Manager. And, please teach them some etiquette. Don't be RUDE to customers.
