I came here yesterday. My fiance was getting a soak at Lavender Falls in the same shopping area. Instead just waiting in the car, I decided to try this bar. I was greeted pretty soon after I took a seat at the bar. The bartender was friendly and asked if I wanted a food menu. I declined because I already had dinner plans that involved eating the left over ribs that I made for a party the night before. I grossly overestimated how much people would eat. I plan on trying their food another day I ordered a Blue Moon which the bartender did put a orange slice on as it is traditionally served. As I was getting close to finishing my beer, the bartender asked if I wanted another one so I would say the bartender was attentive. I ordered one more and decided to close out. The bill was pretty reasonable for two beers and only came to about 10 dollars maybe closer to 11. I would say this bar has a Dive Bar feel to it. It is very dark inside and I was kind of surprises how bright it was when I walked out. They do have outdoor seating that I might try another time. I recommend this place if you want a cheap drink. read more

Was really disappointed by this visit. I just moved into the neighborhood and had my eye on this bar for a minute. I thought it could end up being my Go-To bar, which I'm itching to find- having left behind a really nice bar in my old neighborhood. So finally, we strolled in on my birthday. We loved all the Halloween decorations and decided to take a lap before choosing a table. We bumped into the waitress who asked if we needed help. Told her we'd never been in before and wanted to take a look around. She was friendly and said we could sit anywhere we like. We choose a table next to the bar and waited for her or anyone to circle back to us. After 15 mins, no one did. I was FULLY prepared to have some drinks, shots, and my boyfriend was gonna order some food. We grew more and more impatient and decided that after over 20 mins they really didn't deserve our business, and walked out. I recently enjoyed my birthday celebration there. Danny and his bartenders on staff were killing it with the service. It's your typical neighborhood bar where the men to women ratio is pretty outnumbered. Nonetheless my girlfriends and I have enjoyed the quaint and relaxed environment. Entirely too consumed with putting on her, make up in her face, rather than taking care of her customers absolutely unprofessional! You would think when the doorbell chimes she would put her make up down to wait on her customers, but that's absolutely not the case. Latest brunch spot to take the cake for me. Build your own omelette station, $3 BUILD YOUR OWN, bloody mary station with a large assortment of things to decorate your bloody mary with. The bartenders are very good at making drinks and funny/full of spirit. The art and deco of the restyling of this former hangar location gives a hipster feel, but also art deco bar. I really enjoy the beers available, more cans than draft, but the selection is VAST! The music on brunch days is loud and wakes you up with the delicious food and drinks. Terrible service! Got thrown out after having the worst service ever. It was busy due to St. Patty's Day which was understandable. Everyone was having a great time-- our bartender was drunk, very drunk, and was being rude to a lot of the customers which we found pretty amusing and perhaps so did the other customers. We ordered pickle back shots for 4 of us and a beer. Later, my boyfriend ordered 4 shots of Jameson and the bartender started tumbling it with ice and something else. My bf told her that's not what he wanted and she told him that she doesn't take criticism and basically said too bad. The shots came out light colored and when my bf mentioned that they might be watered down she grabbed some ice from the mat on the table and threw them in our drinks and then called him a "bitch" and walked away. I don't understand how this place can hire people who not only get drunk on the job but would blatantly call their customers names. I told my bf we are not paying for those nasty drinks with dirty ice and asked another bartender to close out our tab and to not include those shots because they were disgusting. We were understandably upset and for whatever reason this new bartender that just came on shift was also upset. We had tipped a few bills at the bar during our first round and then some man with a green wig outside for what we thought was for the crawfish. Anyway, when we got our tab I told my bf not to tip because: 1) our bartender was unprofessional and rude 2) we didn't even drink the second round 3) we had already tipped IN CASH the first round as well as for the crawfish The new bartender started to hound on my bf for not tipping and when he explained that he did before the whole ice situation, she basically called him a liar and even stated that there was no man with a green wig, that it must be the molly talking (WTF????) and then told us to get out of our seats so that other customers can sit. At that point I had had enough and told her that we were pissed off about what the last bartender did to our drinks and the bartender started yelling over me telling me it was an accident and I had to yell over her and say no, it wasn't-- it was malicious and purposeful and that they needed to train their bartenders better. We were getting ready to leave but then she made her way to escort us out which made me absolutely livid and I had a few choice words for her. If you want terrible service with nasty bartenders that have deplorable manners then feel free to come, otherwise stay away. read more

I randomly popped in for an after work drink. Never been here before. Both of the Womens bathroom stalls do not lock. The place is crawling with men. I saw two other women aside from the bartenders working. Not safe or welcoming to women. Seems like a good place to get date r*ped in the bathroom. Bad vibes. read more

Just left the hollow. Was satisfied with the service until I got my bill back and I was charged for a round of shots that I did NOT order. My total was about $75 and I tipped almost $50 dollars. Then the bartenders came up to me and complained about my lack of tipping. I gave more than a 50% tip and regret it. I was yelled at for no reason, being accused of only tipping $3. This is my "5 minutes away from home" bar and I always have a good time. It's never too busy during the week, they have two dart machines and a pool table, there are several televisions for sports games, and the service is decent. They also have a snack machine inside if you get the munchies after the kitchen closes at 11:00 pm. I do wish the customers could control the music sometimes. Every time I've been, somebody has their iPod connected. Overall though, a solid bar with a small patio. read more

Made reservations to watch the World Cup Final, got here this morning & they lost the reservation. I gave the waitress her coworker's number who had called me from to confirm the reservation, she didn't recognize it, I then gave her the business number to confirm I called the right one & she didn't even recognize their own number. The bartenders were really nice, however, it's pretty obvious that something is missing from the establishment whether it's training staff properly on how to make drinks or scheduling enough staff in general for the shift. First off, I ordered a skinny margarita and it was very much so a regular - no biggie honestly. My boyfriend ordered a blue moon which they said they had only to come back 10 mins later saying they were out - again no biggie, he just ordered something else. Here's what was a problem for me. We ordered the fried pickles when I ordered my margarita, so should come out fairly fast, right? I mean they should "technically" be prepared already and just thrown in a deep frier. I'm a server, I get it. Places get busy, cooks get backed up, etc. But it wasn't busy at all, we were here on a Friday afternoon just stopping by for a drink before we had to pick up a friend from the airport. Again, I get it things do happen! But we did leave paying for everything including the fried pickles which were never brought out to us, after reminding the bartenders several times. The only reason for the 2 stars is that the girls serving us were very nice but everything else was terrible. We overheard 2 other groups complaining that they also hadn't received their meals. So if the owner is reading this: do better! Get enough staff, have enough cooks and bartenders for the crowd! And if you can't, get your ass on the floor yourself or your establishment is going to remain 3 stars on google/yelp until you can't stay in business. read more
