Perfectly cooked, flavorful, and a great way to try a variety of cuts. The lobster bisque was just as impressive; so rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. The drinks were perfect!! we had a French 75 and an Old Fashioned, both expertly made and the perfect complement to the meal. On top of everything, the service was excellent. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. Definitely didn't expect a Monday night to turn into such a great dining experience. We'll absolutely be back!! New fav spot!!

I went for brunch on a Saturday. We tried a few items on their menu and shared between four of us…read more We started with the avocado toast crostini and the berry and goat cheese crostini. Both were very good. The avocado toast had a distinct lemon taste to it. The berry and goat cheese were excellent. The goat cheese, and the sweet berries made a great combination. For our main meals, we shared the eggs Benedict Trio, the Chilaquiles, the berry lemon croffle, and the banana foster French toast. The eggs Benedict Trio comes with a choice of three eggs Benedict from their menu. We had the original with Canadian bacon, the green chili pulled pork and the crabcake. Everyone loved the green chili pulled pork. The Chilaquiles came with your choice of red or green salsa. I chose the green one. It was a little spicy. It came with two eggs. I thought that it was missing some cheese. It could've also used a little bit more salsa. The banana foster French toast was to die for. Very good and definitely tastes like banana foster. The croffle was a great addition to our meal. We thought it was very good. Half of us had never had a croffle and now we are in love with them. They did give us a free desserts as we were celebrating my friend's birthday. For drinks I had the elderflower spritz. It's a little on the sweet side for me. The sangria was perfect. My friends had the bloody Mary and they liked them. They have inside and outside seating. They do take reservations. There's parking on site, but shared with the other businesses. The Waitress very nice. She was working the inside and the outside, But we never had an issue getting her attention or with any of our requests

This is still a strong go-to for a good meal!!!…read more The food is ALWAYS amazing, with great flavors and a strong presentation. This is what keeps us coming back! The service is good, but not great. Our server last night held true to that. I can't put my finger on it, he checked on us some, but not quite enough. We actually asked a different server for our check because it had been awhile since we'd seen our server. The atmosphere is my biggest gripe. My opinion is that it is a large, cold space with no distinguishing characteristics. It does have many large tables, which often draws large groups. This is great because they can accommodate, but conversely it can get quite loud. Bottom line is that I highly recommend Tu Asador. The food keeps us coming back for more!!!

However, I was shocked and unpleasantly, surprised by the condition of the men's restroom. Unknown to me the toilet seat is broken, and when I went to sit down to use the men's restroom, the seat slid from under my thighs and pinched my inner thigh and scrotum sack. To say that it was extremely painful would be an understatement anyone who has ever had their skin pinched off by a door or any other mechanical mechanism would know that it is an unpleasant experience. My waitress as well as the kitchen manager made efforts to contact management to rectify this situation since the bathroom was in this dangerous condition however, the kitchen manager said that the owner and General Manager did not answer his phone calls. For the side of town, where this restaurant is located was extremely shocked to find the only toilet in the men's restroom to be malfunctioning in this dangerous fashion. Food was great, but due to my personal injury, I must say that the whole experience was ruined by the condition of the men's restroom, which is still in that condition at time of this writing. I hope that I will hear back from Management in reference to this and unpleasant experience.

BUT after sitting for 15 minutes and finally giving up on service and heading to the bar ( where the one person serving asked if we had already been helped - WHO do you think helped us ?? Santa Claus ) . She clearly did not want to work!! We were told that the kitchen was closed - at 6pm!! JW - update your website or heck just a sign at each restaurant to let people know the status! It's not that hard and the waiter we did end up with told us that various restaurants close each night depending on occupancy?! Grabbed a drink; and an appetizer from the sports bar and called it a night ! However Fernando who was one of the waiters was a stand out - checked in with customers and was as very attentive ! He's a stellar employee that the JW should be proud of !

The staff is extremely friendly and makes you feel welcome enough to have a drink at your leisure while kicking back in the comfortable chairs. With live music in the background, this was the perfect place to recap our fun day and watch other guests come and go. Smiles were abundant and laughter was in the air. Even though we visited in May, the Texas heat did not discourage us from sitting in front of the fire place and decompress. We did manage to have dinner here one night and the sushi was delicious to start. With our main entrees of the Karaage Fried Chicken & the Pork Belly bowl not only hit the spot, but after a fun day floating down the lazy river, it was the right combination to end our night. That is of course, after the special brownie surprise dessert.

It's located in a shopping center in the Stone Oak area with plenty of parking, even though we went late on a Friday night. The indoor dining was clean, spacious and enough tables to accommodate several parties. Live music for entertainment made for a relaxing time. The indoor lighting had a slight blue tint to provide more of a layback experience. The coconut shrimp appetizer was a good choice and very tasty. The Mojarra Chicharron, whole deep fried Tilapia, was not only delicious, but the presentation was perfect. Precut fried chunks placed on top of the fish made it easy to dip in the sauce and eat. Wifey went with the Pasado Del Rio, filet of Salmon, with lemon butter. It was well prepared and had a good blend of flavors. The prices were fair compared to other upscale seafood restaurants with entrees in the $20 range but also offer some Chef specials up to $75 for a shared meal. The service was adequate even though our server had a large table next to us. Others stepped in and picked up the slack, thus saving the night.

It's been a while since have done brunch and o won't be in a hurry to return to brunch specifically The service was superb, we had a great server and he was absolutely on top of everything which was great! Beers were also great as was the mimosa I had and the kids we were with seemed to like their meals which came out last and they said theirs were hot - ours were not unfortunately. I had the Lox eggs Benedict and in retrospect should have sent it back as it was stone cold! My husband and our friend got the biscuits and gravy and also reported that they were cold - it was also served in a bowl which was a bad idea as the biscuits completely soaked up the gravy and resembled oatmeal by the time it hit the table! We got one meal - waffles and chicken to go and the waffles were inedible- poorly mixed, gritty and so much hot sauce in the mixture that they burned the back of the throat - they had to be trashed ! I love this place but won't return in a hurry for brunch - granted multiple dishes with eggs are hard to time right so we ended up with cold food that did however taste good
