Stout House has been a frequent stop for me and my friends this year, and we choose it for the people! Here, you get what you put in, so anyone complaining about unfriendly bartenders are likely giving them attitude to start. Our favorites always include Destiny, Christian, and Angel (and of course a special shoutout to DJ AU!) We have a blast coming by whether it's for happy hour after work or a night full of dancing. So in the beginning it was a good experience although the bathrooms where nasty. So going forth I had a few beers not once did they change the glass, then when I was talking to locals they proceeded to explain to me that all the bartenders are male and will sexual harassment of the customers. When I called out the manager for this I was forced to leave they kept my driver license and would not give it back.. then my tab was only 80 bucks the next day it was 240 so needless to say this place will rip you off and think they can have your money. ***First Visit*** I cannot wait to come back. I have no idea how long this place has been open. I went on a Thursday night and I always go out during the week because smaller chance of being crowded. The Bartender girls are gorgeous, and the reason why I give it a 4 outta 5 is because the bartenders were alil slow on the service and again there was hardly anyone there. So I was alil disappointed, but still a good time and service. I swear this is the place I will go to watch sports after work. First lemme say I am African American and have been going to stout house for the past 3 years and not once have I been told what i was told recently before leaving the bar that i wasn't allowed into. It's a cold night and everyone is wearing jackets and hats to watch the fight. My friend and I approached the front and my outfit included a beanie cap and i was told "you cant wear durags in the bar" when in fact I was wearing a beanie cap. I look around to 90% of the bar wearing hats and I was confused as to what the difference is between a fitted hat and the beanie that i was wearing... now if you asked me I would say the only people who wear "durags" would be African American people so if I'm not mistaken this bar doesn't like black people who wear durags inside there establishment and to get to the point I was disgusted at that rule and was very offended so i took my business elsewhere. To me it seems they want to limit the amount of black people inside the bar by enforcing a rule of "no durags" and to say the least it doesn't make any sense and its blasphemy and racist. Won't be coming back here. My husband and I sat at the bar and we didn't get acknowledged. The bartender kept chatting with another customer, while she asked us for our drinks and served it. The next shift comes in and still no warm welcome. It was several minutes before she asks my husband if he wanted something else. Mind you, it wasn't busy!!!!! The bathroom did it for me though. There is obviously a pattern of behavior that a certain bartender continues to perpetuate. We don't normally go out and for us to go out and then be accosted about tips (that we did leave) was incredibly unprofessional. He came and accosted us and when we asked to see a copy of the receipt (that we left the tip on) he refused to continue the conversation. I'm disappointed that people want to take advantage and manipulate people into giving tips. This was disgusting behavior, I hope leadership sees this pattern of behavior and does something about it. read more

Been here a few times and every time the service is good and the vibe is chill. Good assortment of craft beers as well. They have a DJ on Saturday nights but if you like to control the music, they have a digital jukebox for use until the DJ starts. Great location and the patrons are always nice. Garbage. Happy hour price is $7 a beer? Nicole was the only one tending the very large bar and was super cool at first. She gave me samples of a couple of beers, drank from my same sample glass (not sure about that) and even agreed one we tried was horrible. But then she continued to serve the regulars at the corner of the bar. I caught her attention for a minute to ask for a draft beer right after the guy next to me had a bottled beer. The guy next to me finished his beer and was trying to get another so after 15 minutes from my request, nothing, I finally asked and feeling annoyed, if I could get the beer I ordered 15 minutes ago and she had a fit. Saying I was rude even after I told her that she could use some help tending bar. She continued to swear at me and I just said close my tab. My husband and I have been coming to stout house for years. The outdoor patio area is a great place for events. We love watching our favorite football and baseball games at this bar. They always have great drink and beer specials. Erik and his staff are amazing.I highly recommend this location. Great atmosphere and excellent service. read more

Very disappointing experience! The location is very nice and the layout and DJ was great BUT the disrespect we received from the male bartender is the reason we will never go back! As we were playing pool and having a good time the bartender came up very aggressively to my husband and asked what he did to "piss us off" because we've ordered 3 times and didn't tip. When my husband asked what he was talking about the bartender seemed annoyed and asked why didn't we tip. We had just placed our second order and tipped both times. My husband asked to see the receipt the bartender walked away and ignored him. I understand things are just getting back to normal but to get that aggressive is unprofessional. Visiting family from out of state and wanted to all get a drink together. Bouncer told us our ids were fake without asking any questions to try and validate. Had no id book to check for verification either. We were all well over the age of 21. Said they weren't real because he didn't know what a Minnesota Id looked like. Avoid this location if you wanna have a good time and be treated with respect. Roided up bartender doesn't know how to speak to customers and tries to intimidate customers to receive tips. This was our first and last time going to stout house on TPC. I don't seem to be the only one with the problem of having a rude bartender at this location. It really takes a lot to get someone to write a review; our experience at stout house can be described as ignored, talked down upon, and belittled. You go to a bar to have a good time and have fun with the staff as well, especially if there's hardly anyone there to begin with. Unfortunately I'm a frequent visitor here due to my best friends enjoying the music. I'be not once had a positive experience with any of the bartenders. They act as if it's a burden to make your drinks, don't say thank you when closing out, no smiles to spare either. Not only are they lacking in any customer service skills, but are quite brash with their rude behaviors. I ordered a round of drinks and one of them were wrong, I said "excuse me this is a cranberry vodka, I didn't order this" the bartender proceeded to say "yes you did" I explained that I haven't ordered that drink since I was 21 and that he must've misheard. He said "actually sweetheart you did order it" and grabbed it to remake. When asking what vodka is in the Moscow mule and if it was well could I get something else, his reply was "You realize that's going to cost extra right?" And said it again as I asked for Ketel one. I was there last night and not one single bartender gave good customer service. The only redeeming part is how friendly the dj was and the music selection. Seems as if there is a inherent problem with customer service. Really disappointed with my experience here. I had heard great things about Stout and was excited to try. There was one bartender on staff that was rude to me and my other friend the entire time. I've worked food service before, and I'm always willing to give folks the benefit of the doubt. However, there was a CLEAR difference between the service me and my friend received vs. the other patrons. I'm not sure if the bartender thought we were under aged or not, but both my friend and I never saw her put the base alcohol in the pitcher we ordered. I have been a server before and worked several jobs that require ID checks. If there was any question of the validity of either of our IDs there could have been some follow up questions. Every other time I approached the bar the bartender seemed as if they'd rather do anything other than talk to me. Either way if there was some reason the bartender didn't want to serve us I would have much rather been refused service than treated poorly. read more
