So there's no way I was going to miss the opportunity to, borrowing from Chris Traeger, quite…read moreLITERALLY head over to the Winchester and have a cold pint. The place was located in a small plaza off the side of some main roads, and we gathered for a class team building event. By that I mean beer and burgers. The entrance beckons you to come on in, what with its neon sign and all. The walk up feels rustic, and the door makes it official: you're entering an awesome place. There's plenty of seating and every night has something else to offer. I enjoyed the breakfast burger which was delicious. I liked the quality of the bread and the contrast of a well-seasoned patty. The fried egg was prepared beautifully, and the yolk covered the fries waiting below on the tray. The place is military friendly in terms of the bill and our sever, Rebecca, was not only fast and friendly but very welcoming and knowledgeable. Some folks decided to try their hand at Karaoke and had the stage to themselves. I liked that the TVs also had the lyrics up so that you could sing along without having to turn to face the stage. All in all it was a great place to grab a bite and build rapport with colleagues.

We arrived at 12:45, and by 3:00 p.m. only about half of our group had received their food. While the servers themselves were polite and professional, this issue falls squarely on management and whoever approved the reservation knowing they could not reasonably accommodate it. To make matters worse, the food was overpriced and similar to food court food. Overall, a very disappointing experience, and I cannot recommend this restaurant. If I were the manager I would've comped the whole party. This is not a way to run a business!

I will say the GPS got a little confused in the route for some reason and I nearly missed an exit and even the entrance (there was some construction going on) There is plenty of parking, but the parking lot was pretty full. You walk up and either walk through the courtyard style Biergarten with tables or you can go inside. It was an unseasonably nice day, so, we opted to sit outside There is a QR code to view the menus. There are entrees and plenty of apps/sharables. There is also a very extensive beer menu. Make no mistake, this is their bread and butter. They boast an imprecise "99 beers on tap." There's local brews, light and dark beers, hoppy, Belgium style, German style, wheat, etc etc etc. if that's not your speed there are cocktails and non-alcoholic options. Our server was fantastic. She was very kind and patient with us. We were constantly checked in on, but not in a hovering way or a pressure to leave. Our food and drinks always came out in a timely manner. She made us feel well taken care of The drinks hit the spot, and the food was tasty. It was definitely a chill vibe/hang. We were there for hours just catching up, and we saw other happy hours, birthday parties, dates, bachelorette parties, etc Some tips: I did order a couple beers that they were temporarily out of, but there are so many beers to pivot to. Also, our server was incredibly helpful in offering other suggestions, similar suggestions, and asking the right questions to help land in the next alternative They are not open Mondays, and they're only open until 11pm Tuesday-Thursday (and Sunday). Friday and Saturday they're open til 1am. Also, on Saturdays and Sunday's they offer brunch from 11am-3pm) The Reuben was surprisingly delicious Cheers!!
