Very decent place everyone seemed to be enjoying their time. Drinks were made with detail and the prices were very reasonable. Bartenders had a great attitude and very friendly. Bathrooms were very clean and there was an attendant inside with candy, gum, cologne etc. The music was a lot of Old School stuff but honestly it was pretty good to see everyone enjoying to it. I would definitely go back! The one thing i noticed was they really lacked on security and thats something that should be giving a little more detail these days. No pat-downs, no back checks, no metal detectors, no security in parking lot. I like to think you cant have a great establishment with only good music, good drinks... physical security it even more important in 2022 (ask me how, if interested). read more

My girls and I went there a few weeks ago and although we enjoyed the 80s n 90s music, we did not feel safe due to the fact that we saw a guy with a weapon. Security does not wear proper security uniforms. We did not know who they were because they were wearing regular clothes. Also, the front door guy did not have a metal detector and was not checking anyone for weapons. There is no dress code, no bottle service, and no waitresses. People brought in their own food and decorations for birthdays. The parking area looked dangerous and we felt unsafe going back to our car. read more

Great place to dance and they have a good DJ playing music and keeping up with the music videos. There were a lot of people there that night, but we weren't packed in like sardines like other places I have been to; there was plenty of space to move around (and you KNOW Brent L. needs a lot of space when he starts movin' on the dance floor). $5 cover charge to get in - not sure what time that starts but we rolled in after 10pm on a Friday. Great place to dance and a great crowd - mature and no one in there was looking for chingasos. It was very busy but not overly packed like similar places I have been in. The only complaint I have is the difficulty of getting drinks. There were probably 150 people in there and they only had one bar with three bar tenders. If you are just after beer, I recommend ordering a bucket of beers (6 for $18 which is NOT a bad deal at all - do the math LOL). But if you have to keep going back to the bar for mixed drinks for someone, that is going to be a huge time-consuming event. One last thing - they have some really strange dude dancing on a stage in front of everyone. I found this kind of weird and unnecessary (I hope they aren't paying him LOL). Especially the couple of times where he stood there and checked his cell phone in the middle of a song. Was my favorite place until a power tripping bouncer denied me access. I approached the bouncer who said I need yur id it texas law so I went home to get my id it was n my other purse. I came he verified my id and I said I can't believe u made me go all the way home to get my id I bet if it was your family or friend it wouldn't matter you would let them in, which is my freedom of speech but I guess he got mad because the truth hurts then he told me go I'm not dealing with that I'm not letting you in because of what I said. I was  acting on my freedom of speech so he denied me because of what I said. He had no right. I did not yell it's on their camera I just gave my opinion. I also asked for his name. He was very unprofessional and refused to give it to me so I took a picture of him. I will attach it and send it to you. Yes after the fact he denied I was mad and got in my car yelling You're wrong to do this because he discrimated me on my freedom of speech and denied me because he didn't like what I said. That doesn't him the right to power trip just because he at the door. This is so unfair and shouldn't be done to nobody else. read more

This night club, The Industry, ____ed us. Totally ____ed us. I sent them a text back on January 20th asking for a reservation for 30 for a friend's birthday party for Saturday, May 6th. At the time they told me, and I quote: "Hello, reservations for May will be taken in March. Please contact us back at that time. Thanks Industry." Fast forward to Wednesday, March 1st-I sent them a text asking for a reservation for Saturday, May 6th for 30. Their response: ".. Hi, we don't have availability for 30 those spots are taken. I do have one spot for 10, which is front of dancefloor." I could not believe this ____! I followed EVERY ONE of their RULES for a reservation and they still ___ed us! They gave SOMEONE ELSE the SPOT THAT WE ASKED FOR, EVEN THOUGH WE APPROACHED THEM FOR THE RESERVATION FOR 30 WAY FAR IN ADVANCE!!! I asked HOW this could've happened, and I provided the text exchange as proof of their ____mistake! The person on the other end of the text had NO RESPONSE! I run a MEETUP group of 1000+, and I will let EVERYONE know how messed up ALL OF THIS WAS! Where ever I can give them a bad review? I will! This was bloody rotten, and they did nothing to correct it! im so confused about this place?? this is gonna be a real review from a a girl who loves to dance. i went here with a friend and was told i could dance on the stage with permission and so we danced for a while on stage and then shortly got off. Then a bunch of guys came and bought us drinks and as a safe group of women we thanked them but did not accept and then got back on stage. we danced our hearts out with men clapping and cheering for us but shortly my friend was pulled off stage and i went to go check on her and she said "we need to go" and i followed her out and as we walked out we started to get followed by patrons and a bouncer also folllowed us saying he wants to make sure we are safe too and im just overall confused because my friends are telling me that we were "kicked out" ? and that we were "doing too much." but i was invited on stage??? can someone explain what happened to me here and my friends??? read more

Un-freaking believable!! $3 cover on Thursday and the music is a mis-mash of electronica, indie rock, and 80s new wave. Paper planes, Satisfaction, Take Me Out, Fancy Footwork, some song by Deadmau5 , etc. It turns into a moody, tattooed, punk limelight. Yep, they accept cash only at the door and have that ATM by the door. LAME. There are two dance rooms; one was strictly for new wave and then the much bigger and packed one for the mis-mash music. Best thing is on Thursday fun young people come out! 20 somethings Thursday is our night! They had a Betty Page look-a-like contest. I've been to the Industry twice on Saturdays and it's 30-50 with patches of 20 something and groups of sad pedo-men just standing and waiting for a 20 something to want anything from them. Also Saturday is really almost an entirely Latino demographic, sometimes the DJ plays Salsa and Spanish (?) favorites? Sux at times, makes ppl rush to or from the dance floor. Great night club near i10 and Callaghan which plays many genres of music to keep the party going. The drinks are not overpriced and many drink specials compensate for a cover charge at the door. It's not a pretentious, trendy lounge/club that attracts the hipster/poser crowd so it has an appreciated casual atmosphere that allows you to just have fun. read more

So ... I won the Costume Contest @ INDUSTRY on Saturday night ( SELENA) I won $ 500 cash. I was on top of the world . I NEVER enter . I hate losing ;( The amount of pics I took with/by people before&after the contest was nuts ... I was handing my things (clutch, phone & jacket ) to either Mike or Melissa when I'd take pics ....everything was awesome, until we realized, nobody had my purse. It was dropped or put down somewhere and it was gone . Nowhere to be found , with about $600 cash inside :( My night / my mood - was interrupted and after looking and looking , asking and asking around , I wanted to leave. I messaged Industry on FB messenger last night... and THE SUPER DELIGHTFUL LADY THAT HANDLES RESERVATIONS, TABLES , PARTIES , LOST AND FOUND AND EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN... Ms. Irene RESPONDED !!!! she informed my that MY PURSE WAS TOTALLY TURNED IN BY SOMEONE, WITH NOT $1 MISSING!!! I picked it up today from an Awesome manager named Eli. Unfortunately, the wonderful person whoe turned it in , didn't leave a name or number , so I was unable to reward them . I instead, rewarded the DJ , and management team . Good people still exist. This is good place to go to if you want to dance or just sit and drink a beer. The only downside is the cover is expensive and the parking gets filled up if you don't get there early. They play the best 80s music in town. This is also a good place for birthday parties. read more

I do not recommend this bar to anyone under the age of 35. I went about 11:30pm on a Saturday night and could not even find the door. The front door is actually on the far side of the building which actually resembled an alley (probably because it was an alley). When I finally found the door I saw the line. Lines out the door NORMALLY equals a happening place (see, even the 1980's lingo rubbed off on me! Ugggg...) but once inside you realized it was really a way to make it SEEM as though it was a happening place. I paid a $5 cover - which actually equaled an $8 cover since they only take cash but conveniently have an ATM right beside the cash register at the front door. So they have an ATM but cant afford a credit card machine? Or is that just another way to make a few extra bucks before we even get in the door? You decide. Everyone did seem to be having a good time once inside. The music went back and forth between 80's, 90's and then some crazy, hard-core rap. LOL...kind of different but not too bad, I guess. I must admit, it was weird to see people doing the same dance moves to Ice Cube and David Bowie within a minute's time. I felt mildly out of place because everyone around me seemed to be around 50 but seemed to act 20. Definitely a twilight zone kind of thing. Signs at the front door seemed to imply there was a dress code but people inside seemed to scream out the complete opposite message. Maybe they brought their other clothes and changed in the bathroom. Hey, don't hate, I used to do it in highschool! Maybe that's coming back too! I didn't drink but did pay $2 for about 3 oz of sprite and ice... I left around 1:00am when the place seemed to be emptying out but when I walked outside there was a line of about 50 people wrapped around the building. Why? It was about 3/4 of the way full when I got there and by now had already started to empty. There's no way they were at capacity. So, either the bouncers were trying to get people to pay a little extra to get in, or they can't count when applying the "one in, one out" rule. Etiher way it wasn't cool...I chuckled and shook my head on the way out. All in all it's not my kind of place but people seemed to be enjoying themselves. Not my type of crowd by a long shot but anyone over 35 that wants to wait in line for a relaxed atmosphere/dresscode and smiling tipsy faces of youthful 50 yr olds, this is your spot ;) read more

I like The Industry. It plays New Wave (on Thursday or Friday nights), which I love, and there's always dancing going on. I love that. However, the 75 cent wells are equivalent to drinking ice. They play videos on projectors, too. On Friday nights, it's really difficult to get a drink at the bar for the most part. The crowd is largely under 30, by the way. I've heard that a dress code is enforced, but I can't figure out what kind, because I see people wearing, sneakers, skirts, shorts, anything. Overall, I like it here, and go whenever I get the chance with a group of people. read more

If I could do 0 stars I would..me and my hubby used to love this club since it was the best place for the new wave 80's and some industrial and goth andsome of today but I knew it. I admit it has been over a year since we went but decided to go tonight..wow! have things changed..it is now Tejano and bad urban rap/break dance music? I sometimes heard this crap in the big room..but the small room was there to play the cool stuff they advertise..i think DJ Danny wants to play what he wants to hear... Also they used to have computers so you can request songs--gone now.. I spent 60 bucks tonight, drinks..gas..and came out with no drunk feeling since the music was a downer... One of the worst experiences on a Friday night. Walked in a 12:50am and was forced out by 1:10am because the club was shut down by "SAPD". The music selection is as described by Nadia I. (Either you like it, or you just can't stand it ) The crowd was also horrid; unattractive and very ghetto. Bartenders specialize in pouring your shots around your glass rather than in it, and aside from the drinks being weak, you may be as fortunate to get a bottle cap mix in with your ice just like I was. Most younger 20-year-old's might find this place fun but mid-20-year-old's and later might find The Flying Saucer and Fox and the Hound as a better alternative to going out for a drink. Disclaimer: Friday nights and saturday nights are completely different crowds than thursday.. Thursday nights are, for me, the best day to go! They play 80s/Indie/Electro as advertised. 75 cent wells and $1.50 domestics (i think they are still doing the 1.50 domestics) makes for a great night of dancing even if you have a small budget. I frequent this club every thursday and have befriended my bartender so even if there are massive crowds at the bar he still spots me and serves me immediately (which i understand to some people is annoying if they've been waiting for a while but he knows how well i tip so there's the reason why). It is now smoke free so you won't be going home smelling like an ashtray. it has another smaller room that plays more industrial and goth i believe. smaller dance floor but same drink specials. I can't comment for friday or saturday but my understanding is it gets much more packed than thursdays and i must say thursdays it gets quite the crowd. read more

Went to this place for our lil after party of marriage on a Saturday. We had a VIP section (12 ppl) right under the DJ booth and honestly it was the best spot in the place. The place is non smoking and that is a big plus for us. If you love the good 80's/90's & current hip hop music you'll love this place. We didnt go looking for a partner to dance with since we had couples with us so we werent to worried about the way people looked there. We were there soly to dance with our significant others. We had an age group between 21-38. The only one thing I would say could have helped would have been a cocktail waitress this way our dates wouldn't need to leave us from dancing!
