We reserved a corner suite. We arrived very early at about noon and not only was our room ready but they let us check in early. Check in was super fast. The lobby is beautiful and modern with a large fireplace. There is also a large bar. Our room was spacious and beautiful. There is an area divided by a room divider that has a sitting area with a large lighted mirror (perfect for makeup) and a wardrobe closet. On the other side of the divider is a small table and chairs, large couch, chair, and television. There is also a bar area with a mini bar with for purchase items. There is a separate bedroom with the French doors. There is a large beautiful bed with two nightstands, a drawer chest, and another tv. My only complaint is we booked a room with a view and our view is an abandoned lot facing away from the water. Be prepared to also hear sirens all night. read more

Lovely hotel in a central location. The rooms were nicely decorated. We were lucky to get some sunshine during our stay and the windows let the light in beautifully. The staff was also incredibly friendly and nice. Only complaint was that the free wifi was 5 mbps and paid wifi was 15 mbps which is still quite slow. read more

Very clean and well decorated hotel. We loved our room. Bed was comfy. The only complaint we had was that the street noise was quite loud from our room on the third floor. It didn't bother me much but I suspect lighter sleepers would have an issue. Just keep in mind that you are downtown. We loved that the hotel was so close to major attractions. We were able to walk to the ferry to go to into Bainbridge, to Pikes Place, the Space Needle, shopping, and really great restaurants. Overall, I would stay at this hotel again. read more

From start to finish, Andra was a 5 out of 5. We took the train from Sea Tac and made the short walk from the Westlake stop. The doorman greeted us with a smile and check in was a breeze. The room was incredibly clean & the bed was very comfortable. We even had a couch to watch Thursday night football. The mini fridge prices are more than reasonable. The location really couldn't be better. You are close to Westlake center, the monorail, Pike Place, the Space Needle, and Pier 66. Our ship was leaving out of pier 91 and that was a quick 15 minute drive. Having Lola downstairs is the cherry on top. read more

A nice and utterly clean hotel in a great location (bearing in mind that it's Belltown in Seattle and there's zombie weirdness on nearby streets) near all manner of restaurants and things to do. We just spent four nights at Āndra for the first time since COVID (we visited frequently before that whole mess), and had a very nice time. We wound up back in corner suite 310 for (I believe) our third time and found that the issues we'd previously noted regarding its location right above Lola restaurant (food smell - delicious, but distracting - and noise) have been alleviated: I got a hint of food smell once but the ventilation in Lola seems much better than it was and the noise was just nonexistent. (We've stayed at 1BR corner suites on higher floors at Āndra - including the top - before, too. These seem to suit us.) The corner one-bedroom suite is a comfortable way to stay: it's nice to have room to stretch out. Storage is a little odd (tucked here and there; some in a wardrobe behind a screen over by the door) but works fine and there's plenty of space. Lots of great seating. A desk separated from the room near the entrance. Kind of an amusing table which came in handier than we would have thought. (The corner 1BR suites are all a little different, BTW: so what's true of one isn't necessarily true of them all.) The bathroom was a bit lacking in counter space but worked fine. It felt a little on the small side compared to those where we've been staying, but we both agreed that it was just perfectly fine in terms of room to move around. The living room area was large: larger than expected or needed and kind of felt roomy. The bedroom was just right and separated by double doors from the living area. All the blackout shades worked fine and all windows (there were six) had filtering shades/sheers in addition. The room lighting allowed for various levels of light. There was Nespresso included and a bottle of free wine that we forgot to drink (I guess we're officially old now). Weird things: the frozen-solid bags of ice that you got from a freezer in the hall and then had to chip apart to use (flimsy bags and no ice bucket makes for a mess). Smallish and often crowded (but lovely) lobby area. The coffee service lady who quickly knocked twice and then came on in despite the "Do Not Disturb" hanger on the door (I'd said, "Just a second!," which perhaps she heard as "Come on in!") - no biggie, but it could have been weird for some folks at some times. Not that she was odd in any way - she was hustling and trying to give us coffee to make for a good visit, as was every employee we encountered at Hotel Āndra on this visit. From the bell desk to the front desk to the concierge to all of housekeeping, everyone working at Āndra was pulling together to make sure the guests had a good visit, and it showed. read more

I just wanted to update my original 5-star review with a follow-up! I had some items shipped from Amazon to me at the hotel when I stayed there. Unbeknownst to me, Amazon had a glitch on my "default" address, and every item I ordered since leaving the hotel was delivered to Hotel Andre (4 items). Maya, the Hotel Manager was kind enough to contact me via email and offer to help get them to me. She was super-helpful and I really appreciated her help finding one box to put everything in so we could send just one shipping label, to get my items down to me in California. I am so grateful for the "above and beyond" staff at this hotel and will def. be staying here again in the future when I'm in Seattle for work! :) read more

I assume it may have been collected with towels, but they didn't find it in Lost and Found - said it would just be pulled out if they saw it, so it was shrugged off. Meh is the best way to sum up this hotel. Starting with good, the staff is mostly helpful and pleasant. The rooms were also clean. With the lowest of bars passed, that's about it. The issues really started at booking. Since we are a family of five, we often get two rooms to maintain sanity. However, we prefer the rooms to be adjoining, and if not adjoining, at least adjacent. Knowing this, we booked several weeks in advance, and on our booking notes made our adjacent room request since the hotel doesn't have adjoining rooms. We arrived only to discover we were several floors apart. The hotel was booked, so night one we were hiking back and forth. The next morning, one of my kids spilled a glass of water on the bed. We let the front desk know and they said they would send up housekeeping while we were out and about. When we came back in the afternoon, there was no change in sheets. Thankfully, the very helpful front desk was able to relocate us to a new room anyways for the following three nights, but it was annoying to have to change rooms, and prophetic that housekeeping never arrived. The thermostats either require a degree in astrophysics or a priest well-versed in satanic exorcism. I spent an hour trying to figure out the permutations to turn the fan permanently on. I eventually gave in and called the front desk. They immediately sent up someone who tried for another 10 minutes, then he gave up, telling me they'd send their regular maintenance guy the next morning. The second maintenance guy never showed. My wife and one kid had a king room, which was really spacious and nice. I shared a double queen room with my other two kids and it wasn't nearly as desirable. Aside from being small, the TV supposedly connected to a Google product that connected your phone, but when the codes were entered to make the remote connection, the code changed on its own. After five attempts, it was obvious it wasn't going to happen. Given my previous interaction with maintenance, I didn't even bother calling for help. If they ever send that priest to fix the thermostat, maybe he can also sprinkle some holy water as he walks by the TV. Overall, it was an underwhelming experience, and I'm pretty much willing to try anywhere else before I come back here. read more

Finding a good hotel is a really difficult process and I was initially pretty nervous about some of the reviews on here. However I decided to stay at Hotel Ändra anyways for my trip. First off the hotel is in a super convenient location since it's super close to the space needle, hockey stadium, pikes place, museums, metro, etc. Plus all the food places near here are phenomenal. The staff was super kind all around through planning and my actual stay as well. I ended up booking part of my trip through Alaska Air and ended up deciding I wanted to add a few extra days onto my trip. Calling in my reservation change was extremely easy and they were able to help me out pretty instantly. It was a little difficult to get stuff sorted out when I finally got there due to the computers just being silly about the previous change but overall it all panned out well. All of them are so professional and kind, went out of their way to greet me, asked me if there was anything they could do to make my stay good, etc. My room was awesome. I got a suite which was a great decision since the suite comes with a comfortable eating area, a chair next to the window looking over the cityscape, couch & tv, a mini bar, and an extremely comfortable bedroom. The decor and amenities all had a very luxurious feeling and I definitely drank the wine and had a few of the snacks they had there as well. The lobby is also phenomenal. There's a fire place, nice places to relax and work, just a warm and homey atmosphere in general. Plus!!! There's a gym too, so maintaining working out was ezpz too. My only nitpicky things are there aren't any microwaves in the rooms(?) well at least not the standard suites. So you can't make/reheat tea or make quick meals in your room. And there aren't baths in the suites either, just a kind of awkward shower with a half glass wall thingy. Still cool but a bath with how cold it gets in Seattle in the winter would be phenomenal. Overall I'm definitely planning on staying here again for any business trips I have to take in the future. read more

Mediocre hotel at best. The AC is automated so you cant really control it. You set a lower temp and it magically gets 10 degrees cooler in minutes but it feels exactly the same. Most likely programmed to fake cooling so they save money on electricity. The area for the toilet is so small that the toilet paper holder hangs over the edge of the toilet seat so you constantly bump your leg on it. Please see pic. There's only one elevator that functions so the wait takes forever. No parking lot. Valet parking for nearly $50 a night. One of the power outlets in the room didnt work. No fans in the bathroom. We stayed in a Superior King room. Beautiful hotel , super comfy bed and linens . Great shower with fantastic pressure. Our room was great , staff very friendly and attentive. Elevator was down and they are quite small so that made for a bit of a wait . I did find the rooms a bit noisy from street noise. We stayed on the fifth floor and woke quite a bit Friday and Saturday night due to lots of sirens and screeching cars. Not the hotels fault and you are in the heart of downtown , just an FYI. Super convenient to Jazz Alley which was the purpose of our trip . We didn't get a chance to check out Lola's in the hotel , but Serious Pie Pizza across the street is amazing . A few issues with our bill at check out but Sharon was more than helpful and fixed everything up. All in all a very nice stay minus the noise factor. read more

tldr; Hotel APPEARS nice but realistically is no better than a regular priced mid range hotel with no amenities. Check in was nice and quick but the nightly incidental rates are insane. Great location for walking, but you'll find the homeless around frequently. Hotel Ändra is a regular hotel masking itself to be upscale. You'll find very little amenities here (quite honestly, for us, none.) but you'll certainly find a price hike. Coming from Ohio, we were pleased to see valet services, we thought it was their way of showing how high class this hotel was, while walking through town we saw almost every hotel offered this. Cool. The rooms also appeared nice, they had nice design but honestly the sheets and blankets etc were no better than a standard hotels. The whole entire building just felt like a normal hotel that just invested more in the aesthetics, but not so much customer experience. On top of that, a $100 incidental charge per night was insane. That might be standard in Seattle compared to Ohio, but regardless I was shocked when I saw $500 taken from my account. I've previously worked in hospitality management and knew that a charge would be taken, but I thought at most it would be $100 total but man I was wrong. This is my new go to stay for Seattle. I had booked with this hotel when they were due to open and was very disappointed that the opening was pushed back. Despite that experience I wanted to give them another try. I'm so glad I did. I have had nothing but a wonderful experience at this hotel. I have stayed now three times in the last two months (I travel for business) and feel like this place is a home away from home. I stay in the suite that has a large living area and a separate bedroom area. The colors are vibrant but relaxing and the beds are so comfortable. Staff are amazing as well as the valet. My husband booked us at this hotel for 4 nights during our stay in Seattle. It was the perfect location! Just within walking distance (about 10 minutes) from Pike Market and downtown shopping areas. Room: The room was spacious and very clean. It looked newly remodeled. It came with a fridge that you need a key to open. We did use it to store a water we bought. Service: The hotel staff was really friendly and greeted us every time we entered the hotel and every time we left. Parking: They had a valet parking area right in front of the hotel. You needed to call the front desk about 10 minutes before you wanted to get your car as they needed to get it from a nearby parking area. Restaurants: There was a restaurant and a bar in the hotel. We didn't get a chance to eat in the hotel but the hotel lobby always smelled good! It did seem pretty popular as there were people often dining or upstairs at the bar area. Location: Location, location, location! This place is seriously in a good location to walk around downtown Seattle and a short drive to Pioneer Square. Parking is really expensive in downtown do it was nice to leave the car at the hotel and just walk around. Our experience with Hotel Andra was okay, but my lasting impression is not completely positive. Let me elaborate a little please. We arrived from a cross-country country trip and were exhausted. We made it to our room with no problem and waiting on us was a bottle of red wine. It's very common for us to be given a complimentary bottle of wine. It was sitting on the bureau with a couple of glasses and we were tired, so we opened it. That same wind, which we thought was complementary because it looked like it was complementary, was part of the mini bar and we were charged. As with all mini bars the mark up was higher than if we bought it from the retailer. But it really doesn't matter what the price was because it should have been either free or Mart in someway that it was not free. I disputed the charge at the desk when I checked out. She asked me if I drink the wine. I drank the hell out of it, so I told her yes I did. She said, "Well, then you'll have to pay for it". I did. I will continue to travel to Seattle. I will not stay at Hotel Andra on any of my future trips. read more

Rooms look new and updated. Bathroom is fairly small. Front desk people at check in where not friendly and welcoming. You got the feeling they hate you and their job but I imagine it is not an easy job, so I will cut them some slack. My husband went down and asked for more Nesspresso pods and the lady gave him more and was very nice so it depends on who you get. The pizza place across the street was good for lunch. I felt it was important to write this review to warn other guests who are interested in staying at this hotel as I had experienced theft. I booked a 5 day trip to the Seattle area to do some hiking and explore the city. I checked into hotel Andra on a Tuesday night. I took my earrings off and set them in a jewelry pouch on the dresser near the tv the night I arrived. Wednesday and Thursday I was away from the hotel on hiking trips around colchuck lake and mt Rainer. I do not wear jewelry on hikes so I had not touched my jewelry pouch since the day I arrived. Friday I planned to explore the city of Seattle and wanted to wear my jewelry but it was nowhere to be found. I checked my suit case, shaking out each individual piece of clothing 2x, checked under and around furniture, checked areas I never even used in the room, checked my friends luggage and nothing. At this point I knew it was gone so I filed a missing items report with the front desk and management. Between taking the time to look for the jewelry, filing the complaint, and talking to management this really took away from my trip. After management talked to the staff regarding my missing items, my jewelry magically appeared right atop my clothing, a place I had thoroughly checked before leaving the hotel for that day. Where I found the jewelry is also not where I know I left it. After talking to staff and reviewing camera footage I was informed the mini bar comes daily to check the room to take inventory and restock, however I drank a vos water which is a mini bar item early into the trip that I was never charged for nor restocked during my stay. It raises a red flag to me that the mini bar employee was not doing her duties and still proceeded to be in my hotel room daily. I was also informed by staff the cleaning crew comes every 3rd day but for some reason came in on the 2nd day as shown on camera footage, however nothing was cleaned, no garbage was taken and no new towels were layed out which raises again a red flag to me. After getting home from my trip and unpacking I noticed not only was my jewelry stolen, but it was returned damaged. The staff member that took the jewelry put some sort of acidic liquid on my necklace to see if it was solid gold (it's not) which is why my necklace has brown spots on it which is also why I'm assuming she returned it. I am so dissatisfied with the staff and service at this hotel handling my personal items. I would suggest if you choose to stay at hotel Andra to leave your do not disturb sign on your door at all times and schedule times with the mini bar employee where you can be present as she checks the mini bar as well as the cleaning crew staff since this incident caused so much stress and time away from my trip. I had to buy replacement jewelry which was a couple hundred dollars to repurchase and my formal complaint I gave to management went ignored. read more

Overall aesthetic is tasteful modern, neither jarring nor trite. Excellent location central downtown yet manages a tucked-away feel on 4th Ave (review based on SW 9th floor corner suite). Lounge areas on the ground floor and mezzanine well-designed, interesting/engaging spaces. Room service available from Lola (Tom Douglas), Dahlia Lounge across the street. Crisp service, found the various staff members utmost professional. Kudos to Heidi Wehrle (Sr. Sales Mgr.) for being gracious and accommodating. Bathroom favors form over function with a minimalist spa feel, a la Scandinavian/European. While space was sufficient, as prior reviewers mention, is small. Unfortunately, I did not travel due to contracting a nasty (and highly communicable) strain of pneumonia that made travel impossible with spreading. On doctors guidance, my family stayed inside and did not travel. I contacted the hotel through Traveleuro (booking website) and called the hotel the day I found out, which was one day before our reservation, and was told there would be no refunds at both contacts. So while I didn't travel, be aware that the no refund policy is very strict and includes contracting communicable diseases. At no point was I told or requested to not travel to the hotel while I was sick by hotel staff or Traveleuro agents. read more

Fun facts about my trip: You need a luggage cart! The beautiful hallway carpets keep your luggage wheels from working. It's a good time pulling 150lbs of luggage. No warning and no offer for assistance. If you get to encounter the lovely Myra... you'll know her by the sigh she answers the phone with, if you, the guest are misinformed, you're the idiot. It isn't the employee's fault at all for telling you the wrong thing. They pay no attention to reservation requests. They do not mention on their website that most local restaurants are closed by 8pm. It's high season, didn't think this would be an issue but a heads up would be nice. Don't ask for help, you'll be left waiting.... So far, I've been waiting for 6 hours for a request and 26 hours for someone to help me with internet and chrome cast issues. Etc.., Etc.... And etc.... If you stay here, hopefully you get better service than I did. read more

Lola's the restaurant on the bottom floor is so delicious. They also bring the donuts from the Dahlia bakery across the street which is sooooo damn good. Back to the hotel....really nice and attentive hotel staff. The last time I was there, I accidentally booked the junior hotel which was tiny and not the same ambiance at all from their regular room. Everything was amazing: the location, the comfortable & spacious room/bed/bathroom, the valet parking, the incredible restaurant accessible from the lobby, the super friendly service, everything! I have been to Seattle several times in the past but this was my best experience, mostly due to this lovely hotel! We stayed in room 608, it was great. The anti-fog mirrors in the bathroom were super cool too, and a separate dressing/makeup room was nice (while my husband was in the shower, I could do my hair away from the steam). I even liked the minibar selections (I normally don't even touch that stuff) which included local wine. The front desk staff was awesome: special shout out to Lisa and also to Josiah who valet parked our car (and charged it overnight - it's an EV). Yay for Andra! Highly recommend! read more

Everything about this hotel is pleasing to the eye. The building itself is brick which gives it an older feel, which is quickly discarded as the valet opens the door for you. The lobby is equipped with a fireplace, plush couches and it starts to feel very modern. The lobby leads to Lola restaurant, which is a great place to grab a drink or two before you head out on the town. The staff is so friendly that I wonder how they are able to be so nice. Is it possible that outside my hometown of San Francisco there are nice, courteous people willing to crack a genuine smile not just a fake one?? It seems that way based on my recent experience to Seattle where every last person we met and talked to was just out of this world friendly. The room is nothing spectacular, but it's cozy. We had a view of the street, which I guess is much better than the view of a fire escape which is all to common in New York City. The hotel itself is very trendy and I wanted to love it. The major problem we had was our mattress and pillows. Terribly uncomfortable and we woke up with neck and back pain both days. Such a shame b/c we were falling in love with this place and read so many great reviews about the mattresses on Yelp. The pillows were dead as Dillinger. I mean these bad boys were beaten down flattened and just all around uncomfortable. I brought this to the attention of the manager and after a little give and take, she offered to refund one night to my credit card and I agreed. I have a strong feeling we were unlucky b/c I asked the couple down the hall and they loved their mattress. This was my first time actually staying "downtown" in Seattle so we took a long time choosing a hotel. I am SO glad we chose Hotel Andra. Our online booking was smooth and we got an incredible deal. We called a couple of times before our visit with some questions and they were pleasant on the phone and very helpful. When we arrived we were greeted by a very nice valet who took care of our car and we were parked in the Andra lot so we felt like our car was safe and secure for our visit. We were also greeted by a kind doorman and folks to help with our luggage. Check in was smooth and easy, the front desk folks were incredibly nice! Our room was spacious and super comfortable, clean and just great. A nice little wet bar as well. The ambiance in the lobby is warm and inviting, lots of places to sit and chat, a big fireplace and great windows for people watching. The Hot Stove Cooking Society is located upstairs and Tom Douglas often teaches classes among many other great chefs so check that out is you are staying at The Andra, heck check that out even if you are not. Lola is right in the hotel and has fantastic food and service as well as happy hour Mon-Fri ( I cant remember the exact times ). Also offering excellent room service The location is fantastic with Dahlia Bakery, Dahlia Lounge, and Serious Pie all within feet of the hotel. Walking distance to Pikes, the Westlake Link Station and Monorail, with plenty of shopping near. This is now going to be my go to place to stay in Seattle!! read more

Very dog friendly! We live in redmond but we had our anniversary date night in seattle plus microsoft work party. Staffs were amazingly nice, manager came to us to pet our dog, gave us recommendations to restaurants for our dog(she was so nice!) Downside: nowhere to take your dogs out to potty. City downtowns lack green spaces that we knew but it was pain to walk around blocks to blocks in cold weather to let our dog try to pee/poo on any little tiny grass we see lol Being in the heart of downtown, valet or paid parking lot further away is very common in seattle so we just went ahead with valet. Guys were very nice and professional. Suite was cozy and had nice city view. Very small bathroom but nice and clean. They prepared doggy blanket and bowls for our dog:) read more

The Hotel was absolutely excellent and the people working the front desk could not have been more helpful and nice. They give great recommendations for What local places to eat at. None of the places they recommended were a disappointment. The rooms were absolutely adorable and I recommend definitely going around Christmas time because they have the best classy decorations all around. read more

Lovely hotel, would definitely recommend. Location is fantastic, just a quick walk to Pike Place Market. Hotel is gorgeously designed, it's very elevated and stylish. Rooms felt very clean and new. Loved the nice couch area in our room and bed was super comfy. Wish the bath products would have been a little nicer and not in those big reusable bottles. Would def recommend. read more
