I started my search for hotels on Tik Tok and narrowed it to about 3. It ultimately came down to location. This was a 6 minute walk to Pile Place Market, the waterfront and the ferry to Bainbridge island, and short drive to the Space Needle. Customer service was great my room ready when I arrived around 11 am, I thought I was just going to leave my bags and get my day started until check in. I was on the 10th floor with beautiful views of the water and the Ferris wheel. Nice spacious and clean room with a tub separate shower and an enclosed toilet. Bed looked lumpy but was soft and comfortable. Room included a mini fridge with stocked drinks for a few, a robe, iron, and ironing board, coffee station , tea bags (fee), and bottled water (complimentary) but I don't recommend drinking it. Bathroom had a see through window into the room which was so beautiful. Overall beautiful hotel with two restaurants and bar, a gym and cellar a 10/10 stay!

This review mainly for the crew and location! My friend treated me to an overnight for Lady Gaga, The Mayhem Ball concert on August 6th, 2025 so I can't speak for the price. Thought I checked for two weeks from now to get an idea, it's about a bit over $350/night. The staff was top notch at every level: welcoming, attentive, and mindful! Though it's not a waterfront property, you can easily get to the waterfront within few minutes walk. It's convenient located in the heart of Seattle, close walking distance to many eateries and shops. They have their own restaurant and bar on site. My only suggestion would be to improve the water pressure! We stayed on 6th floor and the shower pressure was a bit lower than typical, especially for long hair washing.

There are so many great things about this place. To avoid a full page review I will try to summarize. Staff- Excellent they go over and above to welcome and serve. Top notch, knowledgeable, genuinely kind not fake nice. Room- Room was a cross between the Cosmopolitan and the Ritz hotel design. Very pretty room and clean so very clean and fully supplied with all you need. The room smelled so nice and welcoming. The bed was super soft and towels were softer than your normal hotel towels. We had robes and slippers and I love the touch of having Le Labo scent Santal 33 toiletries. The shade near the tub was great for a private bath. The black out curtains helped us get more rest. The huge windows allow guests to take in the full city, mountain, and water views. Today many of these luxury hotels charge a lot but they do not meet or raise the standard. I'm super glad this one did. It's a little pricey, but it's so clean and gives excellent customer service making it all worth it. Location- Blocks from the water front, designer shops, many diverse culinary experiences all around, steps from the Pike area, and amazing views! Food/Drinks At the bar Kellen mixes up delicious drinks with a stellar personality. The bar music is trendy and a real vibe. The All Water Seafood Restaurant sadly we only made it for breakfast as we were so busy. Breakfast was soooo yummy. I had a Belgian waffle with eggs and a side of smoked salmon. Hubby had a classic breakfast and pancakes. Everything was good. The music and seating in there was a vibe too. If you were located everywhere I would be there when I travel! Thank you for being A REAL LUXURY HOTEL

As frequent travelers, former Diamond members, and avid Hilton lovers, my wife and I had high hopes for Hotel 1000 that they didn't hit. Here's our experience staying one night in June during the week. 1) Check-In: Our flight from D.C. was five hours delayed so we didn't arrive until 1:30 am. The person in the lobby let us into a locked lobby and quickly checked us in. She even gave us late check out given our short night. (The late check out was nice, but wasn't communicated to the rest of the staff as we had two different workers knock on our room door from 11:30-11:50am asking if we were going to leave.) 2) Room: For a family of three and a small dog, we stayed in room number 1002. The size was decent, but there were several noticeable burn marks on the carpet. It's minor, but felt odd for a nicer hotel. There aren't many outlets inside the room so charging multiple devices was inconvenient. The shower was very hot. The only way to make it tolerable was to make the water pressure very low. Additionally, the bathroom sink only let out hot water. There wasn't cold water. There was a very uncomfortable pullout sofa bed but the room didn't have extra sheets. Already tired at 1:30am, it was inconvenient to wait 20-30 minutes for sheets so our daughter could go to bed. She ended up sleeping on the floor saying it was more comfortable than the sofa bed. 3) Service: Everyone was nice, but the miscommunication on late checkout was odd. 4) Amenities: Valet parking is expensive. There's a small design-forward lobby and a small gym on the basement level. There's also a spa. 5) Location: This is where they shine! It's a great location within walking distance to many of the downtown sites and restaurants and cafes.

Just stayed here one night on my way back from Iceland. It was the most perfect, relaxing way to break up the trip and see a little bit of Seattle. Excellent, safe location and Walking distance to the market. All the staff were so kind and accommodating. The room was so clean and comfortable. We loved both eating options and relaxing by the fire after checkout waiting for our next flight. They stored the bags for us. Thank you!

Stayed here in November 2024, had a great time! Our trip was for leisure. We chose this hotel for a new location when we visit Seattle. We looked at upgrade options but decided to stick with a standard room and it did not disappoint. We arrived a few hours early than check-in, were given recommendations for a delicious breakfast option, enjoyed it! Hotel was nice, housekeeping did an amazing job. Consistently clean rooms. Turndown service was a nice experience. Hotel restaurant was also delicious. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner here. Enjoyed it. Used the mini bar a few times and it was nice to have available. We will stay here again.

This was a nice hotel and similar to all the comments, it's in a great location and within walking distance to Pike's market, the Sky View Observatory and just down the street from the Seattle Art Museum (SAM). Lots of restaurants nearby which is convenient. We like the location because unlike the Four Seasons we were within walking distance but not in the middle of where all the crowds were so less noisy. Staff from the valets to front desk to people working at All Water were very nice. However (and there always is, isn't there?), for the price we paid which is expensive, the room show clearly signs of wear....See pictures. This was disappointing. Our room did have an ocean view, but we were unable to get an upgrade so another disappointment. Overall, you get what you pay for, and we would recommend however repairs need to be made. Ps Save $50 + by taking the Light Rail (LINK) from SeaTac and getting off at Symphony Station. 5 minute walk to hotel. $ 3 vs $60+ via Uber

My go to hotel brand when traveling is usually a Hilton or Hyatt, and they all are usually about the same, nice hotels with great service. Hotel 1000 surprised me by taking it a step further with their attention to detail. Once we got to our room we found little bags of lavender on our beds, a bag with slippers next to each bed, a bottle of water on each night stand, and ice in the ice bucket. The room itself was fantastic. It had a very modern crisp look to it. The beds were super comfortable. The bathroom had a stand alone tub that filled from the ceiling, as well as a separate shower. The staff were top notch. The check in process was smooth and fast. They offer valet parking which I though was great since finding parking in Seattle is challenging to say the least. Shortly after arriving in our room I received a text from the front desk asking if we needed anything, which I thought was a nice extra touch. Check out went equally as smooth. I will definitely stay with Hotel 1000 next time I need a hotel in Seattle.

Stayed here for a quick trip to Seattle. We initially booked the resort because it falls under FHR and Hilton rewards. The hotel is beautiful, and the staff were all wonderful. I appreciated that the room had a spacious bathroom and a sitting area, while also being very central to the waterfront. We were able to walk almost everywhere, and the hotel had a lovely restaurant and cocktail space. We will happily stay here again and look forward to our next trip.

Ask the Community - Hotel 1000

Is there parking for a Mercedes Benz sprinter high roof passenger van?

Unfortunately there is not parking available within the garage at the hotel for oversized vehicles. There are open air parking lots available on Alaska Way that are nearby, but these lots are not managed or affiliated with the hotel.

The staff definitely leave something to be desired. I found them a mixture of condescending and rude. We requested early check in and where informed our room was not ready. Than watched them check in couple after couple. 2.5 hours later we got our early check in. A whole 15 minutes early. This was after it supposedly took them 45 minutes to clean the room. Now on to the room. The room was modestly sized with furniture shoved into every available space. The floors are plastic and cold. TV lost connection no less than 5 times forcing us to miss a few minutes of the show to reboot it. The best part was the bed. Very comfy bed. The comforters they provide are not designed for tall people though. The bathroom was not great. The shower is small with a temp control that sticks causing jumps in water temp. From luke warm to scalding quickly. For men beware the toilet. The water level is so high if you have to sit down to potty you will need to squat or parts might find themselves taking a swim in murky waters if you know what i mean. I would have normally told the staff all of this but the icy frosting on this stay was check out where the staff gave no greeting, didn't ask how the stay was or even express any positive sentiment towards us. In a city full of places to stay don't be fooled by there advertised low price. You end up with a low price experience for a high price in your check book.

It was about 3:15 pm. He had to check with housekeeping to see if the room was ready. No joke.....almost 45 minutes went by and housekeeping had not replied. He wasn't phased. He had the personality to a wet sock. The manager was running in and out behind the counter. Nothing was happening or being communicated to me. Finally, after a very long wait we were given keys to our room. I asked about any type of breakfast or happy hour. They don't offer any of that. The room has no little refrigerator other than a cooler drawer filled with outrageously priced snacks and alcohol. Good thing we didn't have medications that needed refrigeration. There's no microwave. There's no condiments for coffee or tea. There's a Nespresso maker for those people who enjoy Nespresso. I'm not one who particularly enjoys Nespresso. There were no pods anywhere. I asked for some at the front desk and I was told that it's hidden in the room somewhere. It's Christmas not Easter and I'm not going to play hide and seek for the crappy coffee. The furnishings were modern and cold. The lack of the little niceties that are standard everywhere else aren't here. The least they could have done was provide quality customer service and not by someone who seems like they would be better off employed in a funeral home. Pros, view and location Cons, pretty much everything else.

The main issues I had were as follows: - A lot of the "extra perks" disappeared. When I checked in last time, I was greeted warmly and gifted a glass of champagne. I don't expect that exact thing every time, but when staying at a premium hotel like this, little things really make the experience a lot more enjoyable. It felt starkly different this time in terms of the service and generosity -- much more generic. - My room was far noisier than my previous visit. I'm not sure what changed, but I could hear noises from other units and from the street much more loudly this time. - On noise, the AC unit in my room this time was much noisier as well. Generally speaking, I still think this is a great hotel, but I had a disappointing experience this time vs my prior stay. I will give it another shot next time, but with caution.

The bed was very comfortable, and they gave my partner extra pillows for his back issues on request. Good lighting in the bathroom and the shower gets nice and hot. The provided shampoo, conditioner, soap, and lotion worked well and had a nice light citrusy scent. There was a Keurig machine in the room; not my jam but helpful in a pinch. We always got stocked with dark roast coffee pods, which is my preference, whoo. Also an empty mini fridge which we were able to use for beverages and leftovers. The 7th floor has a nice little seating area outside the bar where I was able to get some quiet work done one weekday, and the outdoor terrace offers a mountain view on clear days. The fitness center is small: just two treadmills, one recumbent bike, an elliptical, a peloton, and many dumbbells, but I had no problem getting a treadmill run in each morning before 9 am. Water bottle fillers on floors 1 and 4 were super convenient, too. The valet parking is very convenient but pricy. You might want to check Spot Hero or similar to see if you can get a better deal on parking nearby. All told I was impressed by this hotel and I think we will stay here next time we return to Seattle.

Our last two nights of our journey were spent in Seattle at the Shafer Baillie mansion. I would highly recommend staying here. The location was great for getting to downtown and all around. It is close to the Cap Hill neighborhood with shops and restaurants. There is plenty of street parking in the vicinity. The mansion itself is part of what was known as Millionaire's Row. It was built in 1914 and has been well cared for over the years. When we came back from one evening out, we all gathered in the Library and set up some charcuterie and wine to share from our travels. It was so cozy sitting all together and chatting about our adventures. The rooms are historic with modern conveniences. Our room was the Queen Ann Hill. We slept soundly in our comfortable 4 poster bed. There was a helpful step stool for me to climb up as I am vertically challenged. It has original pushbotton light switches. It had a beautiful full length mirror. There was a flatscreen TV, but we had so many wonderful activities we did not use it. The bathroom was updated but still fit with the historic look. There were two showerheads in the tiled shower. Breakfast was lovely. I, personally, have a great deal of food allergies. There was ample selection that I was able to enjoy just as much as anyone else. There were breads and pastries, jams and spreads, yogurt and fresh berries, and a hot breakfast dish. Hard boiled eggs were available as well as cheeses and meats. There was a coffee bar that was available all day that also had tea and cocoa. We sat at the long dining table enjoying each others company and conversation. We got to meet some of the other guests which added to the experience. The greeters always opened the door for me, the check-in desk staff were courteous and always had a smile, and the checkout process was also quick and ended with an invitation to return to the property the next time I'm in Seattle. As soon as I stepped out of my Uber upon initial arrival, a staff member walked up to open my door and asked if I needed help with my bags. My room was comfortable in every aspect. The temperature controls worked great, the bed was very comfortable and had an adequate number of pillows, the bathroom was well-appointed, and everything was very clean. The bath towels were large, soft, and plush. The frosted door to the water closet was a nice touch for the sake of privacy if you were sharing the space with someone. The shower was not huge but it was more than adequately spacious for me. There were 2 robes hung in the bathroom (though I didn't use them). The small table and chairs near the window were convenient and comfortable to work from. The view from my room was very nice, especially during clear days when you can see the water and the mountains in the distance. The room was always well maintained after the typical morning cleaning as well as during turn down service. I appreciated the staff placing slippers by the bed and how they always nicely arranged my toiletries in the bathroom, replaced used towels with fresh ones, and even placed things on the table in the bedroom (like my charger, earbud case, eyeglass case, and so on) neatly for when I returned. The bar area at the back of the restaurant was a nice little area and had a table large enough for our group of around 8-10 to comfortably sit at while enjoying a nightcap. My breakfast the day I checked out was also high quality and my server Nathan was pleasant, timely, and honest about prep time of some items I wanted to order but was constricted due to a time crunch. In general, every staff member I encountered was pleasant, eager to help, and always smiled and made eye contact when speaking with me. All in all, I had a wonderful experience and have no complaints. This property is one of the top 2-3 Four Seasons hotels I have stayed at over the past several years.
