Ordered online, after 10pm. Should've known better. We spent $78 and the only decent thing we received that was edible was the edamame, and let's face it how can you screw that up? We ordered 2 pork eggrolls- they were obviously store bought frozen and heated it up in a microwave because it was chewy, not the least bit crunchy as you would expect an eggroll to be. The contents of the said eggroll was very alarming. I took one bite and it stunk to high heaven, like rotten vegetables. I spit it out threw & the rest away. We ordered steamed dumplings and as soon as we opened the container, it was so rank, no one even dare try it after that smell lingered among us a few seconds. I couldn't get the container closed fast enough. 2 large orders of chicken fried rice, requesting chicken be cooked for an additional time in a wok with soy sauce to ensure cooked thoroughly. (Not our first experience at this location, so we knew to request this already) and we also requested no vegetables. What we received was twice microwaved disgusting bits of unknown origin, that was rubbery and absolutely inedible. Same goes for the large shrimp fried rice and the large house fried rice that my husband requested. When you're on the ordering app, it says requires you to check a box that says add vegetables and you would assume the vegetables that are normally in traditional fried rice would be carrots, peas, onions/shallots. Because the app was very vague in regard to what was included in the original meal, and what vegetables were included when you select add vegetables, he received: Carrots, mushrooms, broccoli, onions, zucchini, peas, bell peppers, cabbage, and who knows what else was in that concoction, but with all the vegetables, they had zero room for any meats that I selected, I think he had maybe two pieces of "beef", 2 mini shrimps, some "chicken" bits that looked gray. With all of that nonsense being said, I haven't even touched on the orange, sticky "microwave" fried rice part of the meals that had zero flavor. I think I had to put about eight packets of soy sauce, just to stomach a couple of bites of my rice. This was the worst $78 I have ever paid for a meal for my family in our lives. And to think I gave you a 10% tip on my online pick up order... we will never be back... Overdone on the outside, near raw on the inside WHEN there was any meat inside, that is. If I was the one packing my order, I would not have sent out wings like this. The people were friendly, the food was a good temperature and it was big portions. I thought everything tasted good. I got my food to go and the food wasn't crispy because it got steamed in the plastic containers on the way home, but it still tasted good. The egg drop soup was wonderful and I liked the dumplings. WORST SERVICE AND DIDN'T EVEN RECEIVE MY FOOD AFTER WAITING AN HOUR! I ordered online at 5:22 and it even sent me a confirmation email. It said my food would be ready at the latest by 6:05. I arrived at that time and they told me they didn't have an order for my name and walked away. I waited for 10 minutes to talk to someone, and every time they would see me still there, they would walk away. Someone else finally came up and I showed them the confirmation and explained. He said "they are finishing it now, take a seat". I waited in the store until 6:25 and still no food. The woman who told me I didn't place an order had an attitude with every customer and would take the other customers orders who walked in, but ignored me the whole time. Another man came in while I was waiting and the woman asked what order he was picking up. He said "my wife ordered, I am just picking up" and she said "well I dont put names down on call-in orders so I don't know". The entire experience was entirely unprofessional and appalling. I was really hungry and there weren't many many Chinese take out places still open so I tried them. I get there and I tell them what my order was. The guy looks in a brown bag and then says something I couldn't understand and he just walks off into the back for 10 minutes. Then suddenly a young guy appears out of the bathroom flipping his hair back. I checked to see if he washed his hands and he didn't. He asks me how he can help. I said I'm here to pick up my order. He also takes a look in the brown bag and then brings it to me. He grabs some soy sauce and then grabs my fork by the prongs and sticks it in the bag. I was grossed out by that. Of course when I got home I used my own fork. So my food was just sitting there and I wasn't getting service from the other guy. That was irritating. So I paid the young guy and I left. The combination fried rice wasn't bad but it wasn't good either. It was lacking some flavor for sure and the egg rolls weren't bad but they weren't good as well. First time ordering from this restaurant. Ordered the hot & spicy shrimp. Just an FYI it only comes with 5 small shrimp with a ton of onions and sauce. Definitely not what I was expecting. We ordered fried rice with that but only got white rice. I called to let them know that my order was wrong and if I can drive back down there and have something that wasn't just all sauce and onions. I ordered moo-go and when I arrived to my hotel my food is sour and in a brown sauce. I have never seen moo-go in a brown sauce and sour. Ordered DoorDash from them. Ordered some potstickers and beef fried rice with Szechuan shrimp and a side order of 12 extra jump shrimp. They only gave me about 5 extra shrimp and they mixed it into my rice when it specifically said to put it on the side. Very disappointed. And when we called them he said they mixed it into our rice. We told him that we didn't get 12 and asked it to be a side order and he just didn't care. Hot Wok. The classic, late night standby for many a hungry ORU student! The food is good (not amazing), but for under $6 at 10pm, you can't beat it! Good portions and the meat is good quality. Their Hunan and Shechwan Chicken entrees give you a good blend of meat, veggies, and spice, and their Egg Foo Yung with its flavorful gravy are my favorite dishes. Not a huge fan of their egg rolls, and their appetizers should be skipped. They deliver locally, but I usually just swing by and pick it up. They have seats in there, too, if you prefer to stay; the place is spartan, but clean, and the staff is always very friendly. read more

Vegetarian options can be challenging to find in Tulsa sometimes, but there's several good choices here. Veggie lo mein and veggie fried rice really do have big, chunky veggies. Tofu Delight (tofu, broccoli, bell peppers, carrots, water chestnuts, mushrooms, greens in a brown sauce) is vegan and tasty. Veggie eggrolls were also very good.
