Not a horrible but also not the best experience. I got the Singapore Mei Fun noodles and crab Rangoon. The crab Rangoon were pretty tasty, but the Mei Fun noodles were a little disappointing. I will say to be fair they have a nice selection, so I'm sure they have other options that are delicious. So very impressed with the steps they have taken during Covid-19. Built a small area inside door that is totally sealed. You call in your order and when you show up they have a different number to call to get your order. Put credit card in the slot or money in the box and they will put your food in the box and you can get it out. I watched him take my credit card then put hand sanitizer on before he picked up the bag that had my food in it. Ok now on to the food. Very suprised by all the negative reviews. Service has always been good, as well as the food. I've been there many times and without exception I have no complaints. If you go for pick up and act ignorant (which I have witnessed several times) you will be treated as such. ""Do unto others..."" Terrible service. I picked up food on 7/22/2020 and the guy with the red shirt barely spoke to me. Instead of greeting me or asking me what I ordered, he continued pointing to a sign that displayed their phone number for placing takeout orders. When he finally heard me saying that I was picking up an order, he kept tapping another window where they're taking card payments through a small cut out in a make shift plastic window. Good customer service will give you long term loyal service. I relocated from Northern Virginia where they actually treated their customers with respect. I will drive a longer distance for good customer service and service providers who treat customers with respect. I will not order from the restaurant and will not recommend this restaurant to my family and friends unless they change their service approach. read more

Posted on the door closes at 10pm. The mindset here is closed at 9pm. Rushed me placing my order. Wanted dinner combo they gave me appetizer. Said no biggie I'll pay for the rice I just want it with my order. I was told no and next time order it (which I did in the beginning). I guess I didn't look like the write a review type. Well I figured I'd give this place another shot as it's been a while.The owner still has their children camped out in a small 4 table restaurant. They are either occupying one of the 4 tables while the other minor child is answering the phone and running the cash register.Also their bicycles and scooters are inside the front doorway leaning against another table to be tripped over.I hope they have insurance. read more

Disappointed with the chicken wings. I was craving fried chicken and decided to get it from here since I always hear customers order them. I won't be getting them again, very bland and taste like they were fried in old grease. They are wearing mask when taking your order and handing it to you but no gloves. Don't understand why they do not have gloves on while preparing food, also, will take an order, ring it up, handle money and go straight to prep area to start your food. Think I will take a break from them for awhile. Hopefully, they will read this and change their procedures. read more

As a transplant from Chicago, I had in the last two years almost given up on finding decent if not good Chinese carry out. Most of the places I've tried have all the same sickly sweet fried chicken chunks that all seem to taste identical no matter what you order, and no matter how many chili peppers are next to the dishes name nothing is spicy enough to offend a toddler. For some reason my gut told me to take a detour tonight, and I found myself facing yet another dissapointing chinese take out or Subway. I am soo happy I chose the take out. It's still the Americanized chinese menu, but the food is on an entirely different level than the other local joints. The Singapore noodles burst with enough flavor to make me sit up and take notice, and the mongolian beef was as good as any I've had in Chinatowns across the country. The store front is very clean and well lit, the counter help spoke excellent English, the portions were generous. If there is anything negative I can think of it's that this place isn't closer to where I live, lol. Seriously, If you're in the vicinity and want what is by my experience some of the best Chinese carryout in the Jacksonville vicinity give these guys a try, you wont regret it. read more

The food is hot and I used to enjoy the veggie lo mein, General Tso's chicken and wontons. However, I went here one night and there was a man standing on top of the food prep area scrubbing something on the hood while I was reviewing the menu. I figure this was a part of their nightly cleaning procedure but found it to be unsanitary to be done during business hours since there was food being prepared within the same area. It is the closest to my home but because of this I cannot eat here anymore and I just go further down Dunn avenue or stop before I get home when I want Chinese food. If they can do something as unsanitary while a customer was in the store and there was food present it made me question the cleanliness of the operation. I eat with my eyes before my mouth. For me that not only applies to the presentation of the food but also the conditions of the restaurant and the staff. read more

There was one person working in the kitchen and a female at the counter who was talking on the phone when we entered. I would not give them one star for service.. The food is typically delicious. But for the second time it has taken almost two hours for a delivery and this time when the guy arrives at 9:50 PM he drives up to my driveway and beeps the horn for me to walk outside at night. The food is good as American Chinese food. The service is a bit choppy as the lady thinks everyone calls in; if she has several call-in orders. Stopped by this little gem tucked away in the Dunn Village shopping center at the intersection of Dunn Ave. and New King's Rd. We had the Singapore noodles, Lo Mein and Kung Pao chicken. All were delicious, served quickly and piping hot. Most of the customers were getting take-out, but we ate in at one of their four tables. Really good food and friendly staff! If I could give them a 0 I would. I stopped here on 4 Jun 19 and ordered food. While I was waiting I noticed a roach crawling on the floor. I asked the cashier to cancel my order and give me a refund and she refused she said order was ready and they don't give refunds. I told her they have roaches and she claimed it came from outside. I don't think so ... that sucker came from the counter and was crawling towards the door. I didn't get a refund but did report notify the health department. read more

Its really more like a hot mess. Go anywhere around Jacksonville and you'll find another hot wok. Same menu, same service, this one is just more clean then the rest. ( could be due to the lack of foot traffic coming in here) food wasn't greasy... Which equates to oil heated to the right temp. The crab regions were fair. If you want chinese..this is your place. We all know that Chinese restaurants can have a bad rap, not being clean, roaches, and worse. But i can honestly say that you can take a white glove to this place! It has an open kitchen that you can see all the way to the back wall, and is always spotless. I live 2 blocks away so my husband and i frequently eat here. The food is also top notch and the staff is always friendly and willing to go above and beyond with a smile. We are very picky about our food and can be demanding about how it is made. They never give us grief about making our food in the special manner. If i could give them more stars i would! read more
