I appreciated Issac's quick response to my request for a free quote. More importantly, his pricing was reasonable and consistent with another offer I received, but without the language of uncertainty. He worked with my schedule, arrived on time, communicated well, and completed the work a little earlier than his estimated timeframe. He also took away the boxes and old fixtures, which I appreciated. I would for sure hire him again! read more

We set an appointment a few days ago, I took the day off work, and they flaked on me at the last minute, sending a message last night saying that I have to confirm or they will cancel. Unprofessional and unfortunate. read more

Issac and Bryant did an exceptional job listening to our concerns and suggested a very well thought out plan to install recessed lighting. They did very good job matching the lighting color temperature , minimizing potential damage (zero in our case) to the walls , ceiling and even found a few issues previous electricians left behind that could be a serious hazard. They were easy to communicate with , gave a very competitive quote , and completed the job faster than projected. It's honestly stressful finding professionals that can provide this level of service while matching their craftsmanship, so we got lucky finding them here on yelp. I'm more than happy to give them my future business. read more

I was in the market for an electrician to get a Tesla wall charger installed along with a NEMA 6-50 outlet for a kiln. I got two quotes and Isaac was roughly 20% less than the other quote. I was a little concerned about the price difference but Isaac did a really nice job with the install and I am completely satisfied. His work was really clean and he labeled everything. A few weeks later I had to make an adjustment to the installation due to some HOA rules and Isaac came back to make the adjustment at a very fair price. read more

Hot Wires Electric - Chargepoint Flex Install. - Electricians Near Me

I had a handful of small electrical jobs that I was accumulating. When a circuit shorted during a big rainstorm, it was time to find an electrician to help. I rested quotes from multiple vendors on Yelp. Isaac with Hot Wires Electric was the only licensed electrician who would quote an hourly rate. Communication was clear from the first call. Isaac arrived on time and began working on the five tasks in the order I requested. He installed a bathroom mirror, a light/exhaust fan, and configured the switches to my specifications. In troubleshooting an issue I was having with my kitchen lights, his initial hunch that it was being caused by incompatibility with a premium switch was spot on. I will be hiring Hot Wires Electric from my next job. read more

My home is in East Garrison/Marina Ever since I had moved in 2 years ago I had hated the 3-prong lights that the builders installed in the kitchen, and then two went out. I had two different electricians come and neither could get the burned ones out. I asked for an estimate to convert to LED lights and although they said it could be done, they had never done it and gave me a high estimate and told me it would take all day as they would have to go into the attic - they didn't know what they were doing. Issac of Hot Wires had left a card at my door so I took a chance and had him come for an estimate. He was very courteous and quite knowledgeable as he had done much of the electrical work with the original builders and had already done several conversions. He explained that there was no need to go into the attic and that it should take no more than six hours. I received a very fair estimate for the job. Issac came today, the job took four hours, he was neat, fast and efficient - everything looks amazing, what a great job! I am having him back to install dimmers and to hide some wires. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Pat S. read more

A few days ago I had a issue with my 30 amp breakers that control my dryer and I plug an EV into. So I checked around on Yelp and found Issac (Hot Wire Electric). And from the start he was very responsive and answered any questions I had. And although I thought I didn't need his service and cancelled after contacting him because I flipped the breaker switch back and it worked temporarily for a day. So I had to reschedule an appointment with him which he was still responsive and willing to fit me in his schedule. We made an appointment for 10:30am and he communicated with me up to the hour before he was to arrive on the day and was there at the time he said ( much appreciated). Issac was very professional and easy to talk to. He knew his craft and explained to me his observations as he checked the breakers and wires. After troubleshooting the problem he made a quick drive to Home Depot to buy the right breaker and returned within a few minutes to make the repair. He made sure the breaker wasn't tripping when i connected my car and everything worked to my satisfaction. And in comparison to other prices I checked Issac is the best hands down! Trust me, if you have an electric job that needs to be done give him a call first and do your comparison from that point. Thanks again Issac! read more
