I don't write many reviews but I have to share the incredible experience we had with Castillo Electric. We hired them for a panel upgrade and wiring for Electric stove. Jose and his team are fantastic! They were super efficient, their work is extremely high quality, and they were very professional, and taught us a lot through the process. I don't know much about electrical panel upgrades, but I quickly learned that this was superior work because we interviewed 7 companies for a mini split installation shortly after the upgrade, and each contractor would go out of their way to tell me how great the panel upgrade was. Unfortunately, my electrical panel decided to fail in the middle of a Saturday night. I mean, who do I call besides PG&E? Turned to Yelp to find a local electrician to temporarily restore power. Because he was stacked with projects, he couldn't work on a permanent fix for me. Next day, on a Sunday, I started searching for an electrician. I didn't expect anyone to respond, but J.R. Electrical texted back and troubleshoot the problem via text and photos. As of this writing, out of 6 contacted, only 2 responded. Felt bad for telling them I'll use another electrician, but they were totally cool with it and was even glad I found a solution. Although I went with a referral from a family member, I appreciate J.R. Electrical for their responsiveness and willingness to help troubleshoot. Replaced all of the 75-year old wiring with Romex and rewired house with dedicated circuits connected to a recently upgraded main panel so that everything was systematic and logical 2.
