I plugged in a large air compressor into a garage outlet (as I've done for years without issue), turned it on, saw some sparks in the outlet, and lost all power in my garage. I tried resetting all of the fuses and checking for GFCI outlets to reset, but nothing worked. I contacted LHP Electrical through Yelp and got a response within an hour. The next morning, an LHP electrician came to my house on time and fixed the garage power issue and several since-you're-here type issues in an hour or so. Requested a charging station install to be done. LHP was quick to respond. We did the inspection and quote over WhatsApp and was quoted $850 to take power from the circuit breakers and run a line 7 ft down the wall. Once he got here, I asked if we could possibly pull power from the main. Fortunately we had an unused 50A and were able to install from there. He adjusted the price to $650 because we didn't have to run the line 7 ft. Installation was quick and clean. They didn't mind me standing behind to watch and ask questions. I would call Yong again for any electrical problems i need help with. He was busy when i first called him, but he called me back promptly. I explained the problem, that the master bathroom outlet stopped working, and that i thought it might have something to do with drilling through the drywall from underneath the bathroom. Yong asked me if my other bathroom outlets worked. To my surprise, when i checked, none of the other bathroom outlets worked either. He explained that the issue likely was _not_ the drilling. Well if you read my other electrician review it seems the circuit from the main panel blew out during the winter storm. We were getting flickering lights for months and then it worsened with the electricity cutting out. I found LHP in the Chinese newspaper want ads. Mr. Zhang answered the phone right away was able to come by the next day. He diagnosed the problem and noted that the previous contractor gave us an old, broken circuit breaker. We were updating our ceiling fixtures and needed someone to install them all at the same time, so I turned to Yelp. Yong answered the phone right away and told me how much it would cost for each light and ceiling fan. There was only one tricky fixture for the kitchen, and Yong called me immediately after each question that I texted to him. He and his father came to work on the job together, and they installed all the ceiling fixtures quickly.
