My residence is nearly 100 years old and still has the original electrical equipment that came with the house. In other words, it now belongs in a museum lol. The fuse box was still in a bedroom closet. Well the power went out in one of the bedrooms and half of the living room while the A/C was running. It was decided that I needed to remove the old fuse box from the bedroom closet, which is a fire hazard and have a new Siemens sub panel replacement installed in the hallway. This involved creating an opening in the bedroom closet so that the sub panel could be installed on the hallway wall. Sounded good so I paid the deposit and set a date for Saturday 7/18. The electrician arrived at 11:00 am and worked 4 hours straight removing the fuse box and installing the new sub panel. He did an awesome job and tidied up the place afterwards.
