TN Electrical is hands down the best company I've worked with in the solar industry. While many…read moresolar companies are overwhelmed right now due to the rush before federal incentives expire--and often stop responding to customers--TN Electrical truly sets itself apart. No project is too small, and every customer is treated with care and urgency. I reached out on August 10 to add one Tesla Powerwall and one expansion pack. To my surprise, the site assessment happened that very same day, the installation was completed within two weeks, and final inspection passed flawlessly on August 28. Start to finish, everything was done in just 18 days--remarkably fast compared to typical industry timelines. Special thanks to Nhi and Sony, who went above and beyond to fit me into their tight schedule, even working on a Sunday to make it happen. Their team arrived on time, executed the installation flawlessly, and left the site spotless. The conduit runs are beautifully done--neat, precise, and professional. What impressed me the most, though, was the communication. Both Nhi and Sony were consistently responsive to my texts and patient with every question I had. It's rare to find this level of customer service in such a busy industry. If you are considering solar or battery storage, I can't recommend TN Electrical enough. They deliver exceptional quality, outstanding customer service, and unmatched speed in execution. Truly a 5-star experience from start to finish.

Five Stars! Exceptional work from a highly professional team…read more I cannot recommend Formosa Electric highly enough! They stepped in to fix a highly problematic panel installation originally done by Tesla, and they handled the entire situation flawlessly. From start to finish, the team was incredibly knowledgeable, punctual, and professional. They took care of the entire city permit inspection process and coordinated seamlessly and efficiently with PG&E, completely taking the stress off my shoulders. Their workmanship is high-quality, precise, and clean. If you want an electrician that gets the job done right the first time, look no further than Formosa Electric!

I had a devastating experience with Formosa Electric and lost thousands of dollars due to their…read morefailure to disclose a critical project scope change before taking my money. We hired Formosa for an underground service upgrade from 100A to 200A. Before I made my payment, PG&E had already explicitly notified Formosa via email and provided an official design sketch detailing that a new utility pole would need to be installed in my backyard. Unbelievably, Formosa NEVER communicated this major change or showed me the PG&E design plan. I only found out when PG&E's construction trucks literally pulled up to my house ready to plant a utility pole in my backyard! I had no choice but to immediately cancel the entire project, resulting in thousands of dollars in non-refundable losses. Had Formosa simply passed on PG&E's notification when they received it, I would have stopped the project right then and avoided this massive financial loss. When I confronted them, Formosa claimed PG&E never informed them. However, I spoke directly with the PG&E Project Manager, who confirmed on the phone that Formosa was explicitly notified prior to my payment. When I asked Formosa to share their email correspondence with PG&E to prove their claim, they repeatedly refused. Their refusal to provide transparency speaks volumes. Furthermore, I only learned after switching to a new contractor that legitimate PG&E projects should be linked directly to the homeowner's PG&E account. Formosa never added this project to my PG&E account, intentionally or negligently keeping me completely in the dark regarding the project's true details and progress. Formosa has refused to offer any fair refund or accountability for their negligence. They hid a deal-breaking scope change, took my money, wasted thousands of my hard-earned dollars, and refused to stand by their work. Protect your home, your backyard, and your wallet--DO NOT hire Formosa Electric.

This guy was referred to me from my previous solar guy as he just retired and assured me Joseph would handle all my needs. Joseph came out and bid a secondary solar unit for my home and had me pay for the equipment separately as I thought that was a little odd but I did. He quoted me 10k for labor and told me his hourly rate was 150.00 per hour per man. I thought the hours were a little excessive but I went with the program. The day he came out he wanted half up front for the labor and I refused and told him I just put out over 20K for the material and was not going anywhere. After an extended conversation he agreed to do the work and get paid when he was completed. He and 3 other guys came out and got it done in 2 days as I calculated the hours they were here and made them all lunch each day and added it up paying them for their lunch time and programming time and came up over 1500.00 short on the hours I paid them for. I continued to be a good guy and paid them before they fired the system up in full and what a mistake that was. After I gave him the money the system was not operating properly and he promised to come out Monday on three separate occasions and did not appear to any of the meetings giving me useless apologies each week IE I'm on other jobs and can't make it, etc. (like my job he already did was behind him) I sent him a final text advising him I was gonna hire another contractor and send him the bill along with reporting him to the contractors state license board and go after his bond, reporting him to BBB along with taking him to court. He called me immediately and showed up that following Monday and fixed the problems. The problems happened again the same day and its been over 3 weeks again and I have yet to get him to come back to fix the problems. I have sent him a few messages and have yet to hear back from him. I shall start Monday with my process of my promises to him I made and unfortunately Will be making a claim against him to assure he does NOT do this to others!! Buyer Beware!!!

After a quick inspection, Chris immediately identified that the circuit breaker was not the problem at all--the main breaker had simply tripped. I really appreciated his honesty, professionalism, and expertise. He also did not charge me for the full amount that had originally been agreed upon since the repair turned out to be much simpler. They gave me a window from 5-7pm. Yesterday morning I got a call from the owner confirming they would be there from 5-7 that night. I informed them it was the following day. Tonight, I called at 7:11 pm to ask how it was going. The owner David informed me his employee was on the job. Then he tried to give me his employees phone number to follow up. WHAT??? I was at Costco, I'm not calling his employee. David called him and returned the call saying he got caught up on an emergency call, he would be there in 15 to 20 minutes. Forty (40), minutes later the electrician called and said he would be there in 10 to 15 minutes. Now I'm mad. This is not only unprofessional but inconsiderate to my tenants who have young kids, it was now 7:50 pm. I informed my tenants and apologized for the problem. Twenty five (25) minutes later my tenant calls, no guy!!!! I had to call and cancel as it was 8:10pm. I first called the employee, he gave me excuses as to why he was late. I only required that he call me at the time he was scheduled to inform me he was running late, "common courtesy". AND that he be honest about the arrival time. With GPS these days, it's not rocket science. I then called the owner in which he tried to" man handle" me and talk over me continuously. Unbelievable, he was so caught up in complaining about his employee then trying to once again give me his phone number to call. I'm the customer, what type of business owner tells the customer to call their employee and handle it. David needs to get a handle on his business or possible after 40 years hang it up!!!!!!
