Craig, is a great guy in electrical circuits around the whole house. I am so happy found him and highly recommend his services to you if you even need any electrical jobs to be done in your house. My kitchen garbage disposal power sockets was wrongly connected with the neighbor Dishwasher power ground wires required GFCI sockets (the guy previously installed the Dishwasher did it wrong! ) . Fortunately, had Craig fixed that for me today. Many thanks to Craig. By the way, Craig's service charge is very very reasonable. read more

Craig is fantastic! Professional and an expert at his job. We'll be using him for future electrical projects at our house. Highly recommmed.

Through with looking for the problem. Would not leave until he had checked all trouble spots mentioned. I would highly recommend

Yesterday, I called Craig that half my outlets in the kitchen were out after I moved the fridge to clean around it. He asked me a series of question to assess the issue. He said he would go to Home Depot be at my house to further look at the problem. Within an hour, he was able to check the breaker but no problem there. Craig changed out the outlet and informed me that the person who did the wiring, did it incorrectly as the live wire touched the ground wire and caused the short. I appreciate Craig's time and quick turn-around to fix the problem. Not only is Craig very knowledgeable, his prices are affordable, which made it even better! I appreciate you, Craig! read more

Craig was prompt in responding, came out the next day to review for a quote and ended up doing the install right then and there for a very reasonable price. We liked his work so much, we've already hired him for additional electric work. He installed 6 recessed lights and did a great job. read more

Craig did a great job with our EV wall charger install. He stopped by to perform an inspection, scheduled us in for a day the following week, completed the install, and deducted the cost due to decreased materials cost. Overall great job on the install and Craig was timely, detail oriented, and honest. read more

Craig had helped me on an electrical issue over a year ago. His troubleshooting and detail oriented explanation to the issues are top notch! He checked every single power outlet in the entire house to find the root cause of a power outage and was able to find the issue! read more

I had a fuse that started tripping without any changes to the load. Craig firstly gave me several instructions over a video call to troubleshoot and when that didnt work, I scheduled an appointment. He first tried to replace the fuse and when that didnt work, he started looking outlet by outlet trying find the source. Craig was thorough and knowledgeable. Ultimately, it was a USB receptacle based socket that I had installed that was causing a short. Highly recommend his work to everybody. read more

In the early evening I called Craig back after his response to my yelp inquiry; i was expecting to leave a VM. I was pleasantly surprised when Craig picked up. I explained to him my situation and he was able to fit me in given my need was quite time sensitive. When he arrived, I showed him the situation: new sewage ejection pump kept tripping my breaker. After he assessed the situation, he suggested a very simple fix which he suggested we try before doing anything more complicated. Sure enough it fixed the situation and several days later, everything continues to work great. Craig was professional, knowledgeable, and very pleasant. It is clear he takes pride in his work and knows his stuff. You get a very no-nonsense assessment from him. I am very pleased to have found Craig and plan to use him for future electrical needs. read more

Thank you Craig for your quick, reliable, and honest work. Before I looked for any electrician on yelp I went to ask PG&E if they can come check my house to see why the electricity of part of our house went off all of a suddenly and came back on after a few hours later automatically just in case if PG&E did some work in our area and probably disturbed our electricity line. Also, I had called PG&E just to ease my anxiety because i felt uneasy thinking that our house may catch on fire. PG&E did come out and explained that we had an old breaker and it was time to get it replaced. After knowing what the problem was, I then went ahead to find an electrician to get the problem fixed right away. Craig was the 2nd person on the list of electricians around my location. At the time, I contacted another electrician and then Craig to get a free estimate of the work. Within a few minutes Craig message me and gave me his direct phone number. I called him and let him know my situation and he was able to meet up with me on the same day after he finished doing another project at another house. Craig kept open communication by texting me to let me know he was on the way to the house. Once I got home, Craig came out and greeted me and started looking at the problem. He had all his tools and headlight on since it was an evening time and the sun is setting pretty fast. He explained how many amps I would need for the house and goes on to explain in detailed why part of the house has electricity and why the other half doesn't. He went on his phone and assure me he can get me the part right away and proceed to drive to the nearest Home Depot. He had called me and let me know that he will come back and didn't want me to feel that he left me hanging. He came back in 15 minutes. The job took less than 10 minutes. He literally took the new breaker from the packaging and the old breaker out and put in the new breaker in and hooray we got electricity back on for the other half of the house. I had asked him to wait while I check inside of house to see if everything worked and it did. In terms of the value of the work, I think I got a good deal since I did get an estimate from other electricians and it was within the same price and some was even more pricer than Craig. It has been 5 days and our house has electricity and nothing out of the ordinary happen. Craig is just an overall just a sweet person, he loves his grandchildren, dogs, and loves the work he does. He proceeds to tell me what he does when he is not doing electrician work which is spending time with his grandchildren and ride his motor bike. I highly recommend Craig and if I'm ever in need of electrical work to be done I would look no further. Thanks again Craig! read more

Craig was able to come by the same day to fix my problem. He diagnosed it immediately, got everything back to normal with a quick fix, and even took the time out to explain to me how to prevent problems with my outlets in the kitchen in the future. He was customer-friendly, knowledgeable, and provided excellent service. Very reasonable rates, too. I will be keeping his number for future electrical needs, as they pop up, and highly recommend him. Thank you, Craig! 5 STARS! read more

Craig is absolutely a great nice person and a knowledgeable electrician. I contacted him because there were some sparks on our dryer and lights were always flickering. He gave me very detailed instructions to prevent me and my family from an electric shock. Actually we found another electrician to help us fix the circuit issues months ago, but unfortunately nothing was found. Craig did all the things step by step, very detailed work and finally figured it out and fixed it. He was focused on the issues and would never leave until solving them. We really appreciate his work and recommend him to everyone! read more

I highly recommend Craig for anyone living in the Milpitas area. We live in a townhome built in 2014 and the dimmers come with the house are all very low-quality. Those are the type of switches that can slide up and down to control the lights, and they broke one by one approaching 10 year span. I called Craig on a Monday morning and he was polite, jolly, responsive, and helpful. He made it to come by the next day, showed up with his minivan full of equipments and he recommended a brand of high-quality dimmer switch but I opted in for a regular one and he was cool with it. He did an evaluation and then finished fixing all three dimmers within an hour and he charged less than $200. What can I say folks? This rate at Bay Area sounds surreal to me, call him and book an appointment if lights are not working, you won't regret it. read more

Craig is super awesome! He identified the issue directly and fix it quickly. Very responsible and reliable!

I have had issues with my AC for some time. Trying to figure out what happened: did the basics checking on the capacitors and contactor - no issue; checked the thermostat: no issue, getting the 24v as supposed; then found that AC is not getting 240v. So I reached out to Craig and he came by the next day. Did a check and found the issue was related to the breaker which he explained the reason and fixed it. I would certainly recommend Craig if you need any help. Very responsive and reliable. Thank you Craig! read more

Had a great experience with Craig today. I contacted his business through Yelp and sent some pictures of my outlets. I spoke to him on the phone and he tried to walk me through a quick fix in case it was something simple so I wouldn't have to pay him to come out. When that didn't work he immediately made time to come out and repair the problem for me. I will definitely be contacting Craig in the future for electrical help. Thank you so much Craig, I appreciate you! read more

Alpha Electric and More - Installed my Tesla wall charger , super great guy and very thorough!! - Electricians Near Me - Milpitas, California

Craig replaced a couple switches and an outlet. It was my mistake that I didn't ask for a quote. There is a minimum fee for coming out. I haven't had minor electrical work performed in a while so I wasn't aware of a minimum fee. The price was more than the last time I had my switches replaced (4 years ago) as I also had other work done and more than anticipated for minor work. Minimum fee makes sense, and his pricing is likely reasonable. Up front communication about minimum fees and pricing would have been appreciated. I would have considered waiting and adding more work as my job wasn't an emergency. Craig is a personable guy, does good work and I'd recommend him for future jobs which is why I still provided a high rating but just make sure to discuss pricing up front with him if he forgets to bring it up. read more

Needed to get an outdoor wall light and switch installed along with some wiring. Sent out a request and Craig was quick to reply. He called ahead of time before showing up. When he arrived I again explained what I wanted and he gave me some good suggestions. Communication was very good. He explained to me how he was going to do it and got straight to work. He used his time very efficiently. I was very happy with work he did for me. It was very clean and organized. He seems to have great attention to detail. He definitely knows his stuff. We were fortunate enough to have Craig do two major projects for my house, including 240-V EV charging and hot tub installation. I was extremely impressed and happy with Craig's top-quality work. He gave accurate estimates, showed me the materials and parts he planned to use, explained the steps involved, gave me safety and maintenance tips, and left everything clean and tidy. He always communicated clearly. Also he was very kind to help out on non-electrical stuff, identified a few problems with my house, and gave me tips on how to fix them. We would not hesitate to hire Craig again. read more

Craig was awesome and easy to work with. Power went out in the bedrooms and they were all on the same circuit. Called Craig and he happened to be in the area and was able to come by right away. Thought it was a bad circuit breaker initially, but it ended up being something in one of the sockets. He was very patient and detail oriented and went through each socket by socket until he was able to pinpoint the problem. Problem fixed, everything good as new. Will be calling Craig in the future for any electrical related problems. read more

I was very impressed by Craig's troubleshooting process and skills. One section of my house lost wall power. He methodically tested the circuits behind every outlets, traced the wiring up the attic, and finally identified the culprit in a GFCI located in another room. The combination of patience and expertise makes Craig a uniquely valuable electrician for the most technically challenging diagnostic job. read more

Had engaged Craig to replace four recessed lights in the kitchen. After initial review, he gave a quote which was quite reasoable given current prices charged by everyone! It took a bit of follow up with him to get him to come in and replace the lights. He did a great job all the while regaling me and my wife with his views on politics and world affairs! He got the light fixtures installed, cleaned up the kitchen and also installed a dimmer switch which was unplanned for. Great friendly guy who I'd make sure to call whenever I have any electrical needs. Would highly recommend him to anyone. He also suggested that I replace a few recessed lights on my own rather than hire him to save some money...who does that these days! read more

All bathrooms GFCI outlets were not working in the house. Went online and did a quick search for Electrician! Luckily I found the best! Craig from Alpha Electric came all the way from another job in Oakland to San Jose and took care of our outlet problems and more. He was honest and a man of his word. He diagnosed the problem and proceeded with best solution. In addition, he did added work for us by concealing the wires for our mounted TV in the bedroom. His pricing was fair and we would like to make another appointment to have him conceal the wires for our living room TV as well. He is very knowledgeable and experienced in his field. You will be very pleased after he is done with his electrical work around your house! Craig is a legend. read more

You're going to think I was paid to write this review. But I wasn't. When you hire people, you're always taking a gamble. Once in a while, you find someone who is a true craftsman. You find someone who doesn't just do a job, but really deeply cares about their work, as a reflection of themselves. This is Craig. He went above and beyond on some REALLY REALLY challenging projects. He managed to get outlets in places I simply didn't think were possible. He did work other electricians said would be way too complicated or impossible.... oh, and he did one of those hard jobs in only 2 hours. What started out as a few "we need some extra outlets" turned into three brand new ceiling fan wiring jobs, 5 outlets, and low voltage work. Everything came up looking FANTASTIC. He even patches his own drywall, no other electrician I found does that. He also covered the entire room(s) in plastic to prevent any dust from getting on our belongings. I really really really can't recommend him enough. His work was seriously top notch. The pic below in green is in a space only 10 inches high under a cabinet. How he did this? I have no clue, because it's that good. He cleaned up everything and left the space immaculate. He's saved in my phone now as "Electrician" because I'll be using him again and again. read more

I am ecstatic with the work Craig did. The time, effort and consideration that went into what seemed to be an easy job, but was more complicated than I thought was done with the utmost professionalism, for handyman work could have been destructive to my home. It is unfair to compare his work, for this business owner goes above and beyond expectation at a cost that I could truly afford. I am proud that I chose Craig for my home is safe and works with what I need. We had a breaker that started tripping regularly, despite no changes in the electrical load. I called Craig and he came to our house that same evening, after finishing the job he was working on. He was professional and personable and he completed the work for a reasonable fee. I would recommend Alpha Electric and plan to use them again. read more

We had an electrical problem that was hard to diagnose. We had an electrician provide a fix that was very expensive. Craig, who was the third electrician I contacted in the morning, showed up in the evening and spent 3 hours looking for the problem. He came in the next day and continued to look for the problem. Eventually, the problem was not fixed but Craig provided a fix that was half the cost and he did it the very next day. While he was looking for the problem he shared a lot of useful information about the electrical circuit at home. We really appreciated Craig's professionalism throughout and I would be contacting Craig next time I have an electrical problem at home. read more
