Where to begin?! I am SO impressed with LHP Electrical! I called first thing on a Sunday morning. My call was immediately answered, and I explained my issue. The gentleman I spoke with was able to get me on Facetime, and walked me through a few steps to try to solve the problem without their services. When that didn't work, he immediately set up a time within a few hours of my call, and quoted me the service charge. The gentleman arrived 30 minutes early of the estimated time window! Since my box is located inside my condo, he put on shoe covers to walk into my home :) He immediately got to work - and in less than 20 minutes, I had power in all outlets in the affected rooms! My electricity sockets went out this morning in my home office and I had to move my WFH setup to the living room. The breaker didn't pick up the electricity short-circuited. It was a crazy morning experience. When I had downtime, I found Mr.Zhang through Yelp reviews and called him for a service check. He was actually around the Fremont area and he stopped by my place within 30 minutes. I explained what happened to the best of my abilities, showed him the breaker, all the sockets that didn't have electricity, which was within the same wall panel area. He did some tests, checked the sockets, checked the lights, unscrewed, and did more tests. Then he found the issue and said that it was a bad wire setup in one of the sockets and due to the fact that it's an older house unit (which is true), it short-circuited without the breaker even notice it. All and all, it took a little bit over an hour from the time I picked up the phone to gaining electricity back in my home office. That's insane! in my book. I called LHP to get a quote on upgrading my sub panel. We only had 12 circuits and they upgraded to 24. I explained that with everyone at home during COVID I was concerned with circuits being blown. He also informed me that I could put more power in the panel by converting from electric stove to gas in the future. He is very pleasant and responded quickly. Very professional! I hit some other quotes but LHP was the most personable and down to earth. Not trying to sell me anything I didn't need and brainstormed solutions with me. I ended up converting to a gas stove and they changed out the power on the stove from 240 to 120 and we could not be happier. They even changed the stove connection from a hard wired connection to an outlet. *Note - I had to have a Plummer come and run the gas line for the stove so this portion. Was not included in the scope of work done by LHP. On the day of the work the crew arrived at 9:00AM and were done by 12:30. They were very friendly and kept us updated on the progress throughout the entire time. They are a small business and need our support during this time. My master bedroom blacked out around 9pm since I turned on a portable AC and a water boiler at the same time. We had an outlet in the garage that was not working. We tried to diagnose it myself and replaced the outlet ourselves but it didn't fix the issue. So we decided to find an electrician to look into the issue. Electricians just be busy these days since we called at least 3 places that were booked before finding LHP. LHP gave me a quote over the phone before coming to fix the issue. The electrician that came to do the job, Yongpeng, was amazing. He was able to troubleshoot the issue down to a short circuit and melted wires in the master bedroom from another outlet that was not working. After fixing that and also swapping in a new switch, everything is now working, not only in bedroom but also in the garage. The final cost was the same as quoted on the phone. We are very impressed with Yongpeng's troubleshooting skills and will definitely use his services again in the future. read more

I just had my Tesla wall connector installed today and am super happy about LHP electrical's service. We connected on yelp and Mr. Zhang immediately helped provide a quote by simply going over the condition and equipment around the area I wanted it to be installed over phone via FaceTime, which was very efficient. We set up the appointment like less than a week away. Mr. Zhang and his team arrived promptly at 830am in the morning and dived in the work right away. The technicians are polite and patient when I pop questions. They are also detail oriented and careful when handling the work. At the moment it seems almost done, Mr. Zhang found out an improvement worth doing and then the team took extra time to get it done, which turns out much better on the finish. After all work done, we took time to test out the house and the charger both. The team cleaned up the garbage and made everything back to its place . Mr. Zhang also kindly offered a few tips on how to prevent it from overloading and how to preserve the charger's life. I highly recommend Zhang and his crew for electrical installation. Mine was to rewire an entire 2k sq ft house (mostly old wires from 1960s, some ungrounded). Place bathrooms, bedrooms, lights all in separate branch circuits. Quick Finished rewiring in about 2 weeks Above and beyond Replaced an exterior subpanel and added an additional subpanel for free even though not strictly required, to save us some capacity for EV charger and AC upgrade in the future. Yong is awesome. I needed an electrical charger for my new Tesla. Contacted over 20 electricians. All of them asked a bunch of questions and said they couldn't give me an approximate quote. Several electricians gave me quotes. One said this and that and I have to do something before he can work on it. Yong came after giving me an approximate quote and finished the job immediately and charged me at the lower end of the quote range. His quote was much lower than everyone else's.
