He was also sure to take care of all the details, including removing existing speakers and lights that would no longer fit and properly patching up holes. OK - It's Sunday morning and all the lights in my house are surging. My brand new appliances are making clicky poppy noises - It is the stuff of nightmares. I'm wondering how I could have destroyed my entire electrical system by plugging in a string of Christmas lights and then opening the garage door - but there you have it - everything has gone haywire. I call my GC - and he recommends my new found patron saint of all things electrical, Marcos and Rocha Electrical Systems. What an awesome call! Marcos showed up right after church, tested a bunch of things, figured out the problem rested with PG&E, and waited for them to show up so he could make sure they get everything right. (For very little money, all things considered.) The problem had started on Saturday and I'd already called PG&E. They sent a guy out who insisted everything was fine. (NOT!) Thank you Marcos - for your integrity and everything that goes along with being a stand up guy. One of the phases was out - by the by. All my appliances are oh my... I can't even think about it. The vent has been working great with no leaks and he charged us a very reasonable price. When we had our bathroom redone, Carlos came again to help us install a new outlet in the bathroom. He found exposed wires running underneath the bathtub and helped to rewire and redirect it to make it safer. They were a no call, no show. We called again and were given an excuse that the owner was surprised by his wife to take him out of town. After several calls, we gave up and had someone else fix the phone line as it was necessary for my parents communication with their doctors. When I texted Roberto for a receipt, he said he would email it over. Still no receipt a few days later. When I reached out again, he proceeded to tell me he lost the check and needed another one. I told him to call my parents to coordinate a to pick the new check ( after they cancelled the original one). It took over 2 weeks for him to reach out to get the payment. This put unnecessary stress on elderly parents. This was an extremely disappointing situation and I would not recommend this company.

My main issue was with the billing and communication. Before scheduling, I was told that an estimate and diagnosis would be free. However, after determining that the work could not be completed as originally discussed, I was still charged $150 for the visit. I understand compensating someone for their time and travel. That said, I wish the diagnostic fee had been clearly communicated upfront, especially since the original message specifically mentioned a free diagnosis. The lack of clarity around pricing was frustrating.
