I was referred to him by the property manager for my business - he was the only electrician that the building trusted and years later, he's absolutely #1 in my book. Whatever simple or complex situation you have going on, he's there for you. I'm not sure how his prices compare to others, but I'll tell you this--you get what you pay for! I am an extremely busy working professional. I am having an issue with the fan in my bathroom, and I called Marcus yesterday to schedule an appointment. He told me that he could come to my place first thing in the morning to provide assistance. I texted him immediately after the call to confirm the time, per his request. When the time came for his scheduled arrival came and passed, I called him to see where he was. He said that "I told you that I had another job to take care of first" and said that he did not see my text until right when I called. Despite what he said, he never mentioned having another job to do before doing my job. This is extremely unprofessional, and is now causing me to miss part of the work day and be forced to find another electrician. Choose someone else who is more respectful of your time. read more

We hired Rocha Electrical Systems about 2.5 years ago to upgrade our electrical panel. While Marcus is a nice enough guy, his work seriously lacks. We had to hold his hand the whole time. Messy and lazy is what we got. There appears to be no pride or work ethic involved in the jobs he does and it shows big time. At one point he destroyed a section of dry wall in our garage. When I asked him when this would be repaired, he told me he doesn't do dry wall. After pulling some teeth, he finally came back around to repair it. However, just like his previous work, it was sloppy. My husband ended up having to re-do it. I wouldn't recommend this business if you want the job done right and with some quality. You could do much better elsewhere, I am positive. read more

I'm a General Contractor in San Francisco and hired Marcos Rocha at the recommendation of my plumber. A client with a Notice of Violation needed some corrective work done by a licensed electrician. This was a relatively small job and not an easy one to get someone licensed to show up and do. I couldn't have been more happy with Marcos and his electrician Adam. I manage a dental office in Hayward and we were having some issue's with our pumps. I phoned our dental service company and they told us it was electrical. I called several companies to see who could help. Most were "unavailable" for several days. Rocha Electrical said they would at least come out and see what may need to be done but they also gave me ideas as to what to check for! I have to say I did not even need them to come out! Marco (spelling?) was absolutely right about what was possibly wrong. He could have heard Dental Office and immediately said he needed to come out just to make a buck. I believe he that being a good hearted, kind business man he gave me few tips and sure enough it worked!! He could have come out and charged me who knows how much to flip a couple breakers!! Marcos is amazing! I found him here on yelp. I needed some items installed as I am converting my water heater from gas to an hybrid one. When we met for the quote, he took the time to look at the installation and offer me a couple of options on how I wanted to proceed. During our walk through as well, i explained him the future conversion form gas to electric or other electric installation I wanted to do. he advised me to connect with PG&E to get an amperage increase. When he came on the day of the work, not only the job was well done but we also double check my amperage to see if it would actually be worth for me to ask PG&E for an amperage increase. it was clear that it wouldn't be needed. So he saved me a $10k project right there!! After he left, for some reason my water heater and furnace (still running with gas) was no longer working. Since that was the only work I had in my house, I called him back and asked him to come back to look at what was going on. He took the time to figure this out and it was actually my earthquake gas detection that turned off probably because of the work they did close to it. Not only he took the time to come back to identify the issue, but it wasn't even his expertise and he fixed it for me!! I am grateful that everything was done properly and that the service and advice he provides is above and beyond!! read more
