We were looking for some Digital Circus and checked out this Hot Topic. It was fairly busy. Couldn't find any of the merch so we asked an employee and she was very friendly. She took the time to check for us and even explained how the license is niche and tips on how to find it. I didn't catch her name but it was a Saturday afternoon and she really made our visit enjoyable even if we couldn't find what we were looking for. This is the most spacious Hot topic I have ever been to. I'm used to tiny stores with limited stock and non existent customer service. ( that's New York for you) We had one issue; for some reason my partners account was not showing up when she used her name and phone number. Thankfully, Ash was there to help us with our purchase and get us into the account. All in all, this is pretty great location. I don't get all of the bad reviews. read more

This Hot Topic location can be found in the Fashion Show Mall on the Las Vegas Strip. It's actually located on the second floor, not too far from Nordstroms. I found it easiest to just park in the garage just off Spring Mountain Road,in front of Dillards, and just walk through Dillards to get there. Anyways, the only reason I go to Hot Topic is for my budding Funko Pop! addicition. Today I heard they had a hard to find, fast selling one still available here. This was my first visit to this location, so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. This is one of the best Hot Topic locations I have visited! This location is quite large and very, very clean! Nice! They have a good size wall in the back left corner where they keep the majority of their Pops! staged at and I was more than impressed with the massive and diverse selection they had available. As with all Hot Topics, I received friendly and attentive customer service here as well! The lady working today helped me find what I was looking for and was quite pleasant while doing so. I bought what I was hoping to find in a quick, pleasant, and seamless transaction. Plus with the selection they have here, I am 100% certain to be returning in the near future! 4 stars. read more

I don't really shop here for the band t-shirts anymore (very pricey anyway), but for their HELLO KITTY stuff. I know that sounds funny, because the Sanrio store is right across from it. But sometimes the store has BOGO 50% on the 2nd item. Besides, my husband also likes to go in for their figures (OK, I really call them toys, but I guess he considers them collectibles). It's one of the few stores he likes to visit in this mall. Otherwise, the aisles are a little tight, especially when there are other customers, and when one is pushing a baby stroller. Of course, you find this out when you become a parent. We stropped bringing the large one because things would start getting caught on it and would fall off the racks/displays. read more

This was the first store we hit when we got to Fashion Show Mall. We dont have a Hot Topic in Canada. I always enjoy going to stores we don't have. This location wasn't overly big. Mostly Tshirts, cheap jewelry and "Mall GothFashion" I wasn't in the mood to try any clothes on or I would of checked out a few skirts I saw. We only bought a few cosmetic items, bright blue & green liquid eyeliner, and a white eyeshadow. They were all on clearance which is funny since I only use high end cosmetics. But I had forgot some of my makeup at home, and brightly colored liquid liner is sometimes hard to find. The girl who rang us up had super cool nails. She wasnt overly friendly but did tell us how the salon did the tips all glittery. I now kinda wish I would of tried that skirt on ... I used to think Hot Topic was just for goth clothing but it's actually a haven for pop culture. There's a lot of anime and popular TV/movie items that you can buy here. Sample includes: Doctor Who, Attack on Titan, Sailor Moon, Sword Art Online, Bob's Burgers, etc. I actually ended up buying a Doctor Who jigsaw puzzle and some suspenders since they were having a buy one get one 30% off the entire store. My puzzle was on sale for some reason which was great! The store layout is a bit cramped especially since the cashier is in the middle of the store. This is typical for Hot Topic stores though. read more

Serious this store needs to get there employees learning how to use a cash register. About three employees on the floor and out of the three only one was on cash register while having a line of 6 people waiting. Not only did I wait that long line, I was told I was not allowed to get a deal where the sign of 3 for 10 dollar socks where because one of my socks that were completely in the rack was not below 8.90 So having to go back and grab a different pair and having to wait that long line again, I had a coupon for 30% off and she refused to take it because I had the socks of 3 for 10 + another item not on sale, she told me I couldn't combine the coupon because of my socks. I told her fine ring them separately and she told me she was not allowed to use my credit card twice !!!!!!! I told her fine I have two different ones I could use. I hope you fixs your card issues because not being able to use my card twice is ridiculous!!!! read more

Horrible service given by a sales rep named Irene. We had the misfortune to have Irene assist us with our returns. We had an item out of the bag because we were debating on whether or not we wanted to return it. When telling her we wanted to return it she said that the item was not in the bag and she didn't take it out. At first I didn't understand what she was implying because I told her the item was on my receipt. She kept saying that she did not take it out of the bag. We told her we did to inspect it and she saw us do it! In the end she accepted the return which was probably the smartest things she has ever done in her life. If she could look up our history, she would see that we have spent over $500 in just the past 2 months alone. Why the hell would we try to 'steal' a $10 item. I'll lay it to you in black and white. My 3-star rating has a lot to do with my personal bias for soft, pastel colored clothes contrary to the dense 'blackness' you'll find in this store. I believe the fashion category Hot Topic would belong to is goth, punk or emo to name a few, not that I am in any way against it at all. In fact, one of my galpals loves this place so much that she always makes sure we stop by here whenever we're at the mall. Fortunately, like a chameleon, I can blend in and adapt anywhere. Put me in a Hot Topic store - or anywhere else - and I'll find something amusing that catches my eye sooner or later. This was when I saw the most random Hello Kitty Items that had me chuckling - socks, beanie, navel barbells and suspenders. My galpal was fixated with the corsettes so I went over to her and caught sight of a sailor moon graphic T-shirt along the way. Very interesting product combinations I must say although I do have to give props to the 'Big Bang Theory' shirts they have up as well. It's one of my favorite TV shows, ever. If I could give this Hot Topic store a negative rating I would. I was looking for a specific hoodie, the hot topic I was at didn't have it in stock but offered to call other stores. They called the Hot Topic at fashion show and an employee said they did in fact have it. I hurried and drove pretty far to get there only to find out the employees were clueless of the call or the hoodie. The pulled up the item and said they had 1 in stock but had no idea where it was. The employee walked and looked for like 5 seconds and said sorry are you sure it was this store not once but multiple times - Like I was stupid or lying. I called the original store and they confirmed they had spoken to someone and even called fashion show to confirm, the employee said well sorry there was miscommunication we have new employees. She was very matter of fact about it. New untrained employees should not be answering the phone and she could of offered to order the hoodie for me, wave the shipping and give me a discount for their mistake. But NOTHING. Haven't really shopped at Hot Topic since high school however my brother loooooves their pants. I went in search of them for a xmas present and also looking for dressier tapered black pants that were not necessarily slacks. It took a while at first to get some attention but as soon as I did I was it was kindly and quick. Made my trip to Fashion Show during the craziest time of the year amazing! Very disappointed. I made a special trip to go to this specific Hot Topic in the Boulevard Mall just looking for a superhero pin of the Punisher. Many of the staff members were extremely helpful trying to locate the pin and even emptied all of the buckets that they had and sorted through them. However, one member of the staff named Natalie Rushman actually had the pin that I was looking for on a lanyard around her neck and even though we couldn't find the pin at all she would not relinquish the PIN to me and was standoffish, rude and aggressive when I asked for it. She then told me that she was going to try to locate the pin and order it and that she would contact me when and if it came in but I never heard from her. read more
