I waited an hour instore for them to look through the clothes only to be told NOT ONE thing was taken. I felt pretty blindsided as one bag had nothing but jeans (American eagle, lucky brand, etc) only to name a few. I drove an hour to, stayed for an hour plus an hour back home. In the…read moremidst of moving with a closet full of clothes packed up and just casual clothes to wear out, with a baby and husband in tow, many stores in the area disappointed with their judgmental air and snobby associates. I walked into Johnny Was and immediately felt comfortable. The sales associate working (sorry I didn't catch her name! Middle-aged, short hair, very sweet!) immediately made me feel welcomed. She greeted my husband and baby, and explained how only a select number of samples in each style were on the rack, but more sizes in the back and she was happy to start a fitting room. She was engaged through my shopping experience without being pushy. I was looking for a particular style of dress, and couldn't find a color I liked. She went to the back and found a dress that fit the description and color, and brought it back in two sizes to try on! I fell in love with a particular kimono while browsing, but after seeing the price tag decided to move on. My husband saw my face light up when I saw it, and how I moved on after looking at the tag. While I was in the dressing room I heard him and the sales associate whispering (trying to figure out which one it was) and sure enough when I came out she was holding it for me to try on. Once she showed me that it was reversible I was sold! Another younger associate helped place my items in a garment bag while I checked out with my kimono and two dresses. She even made sure I got one of their cute little reusable shopping bags even though my purchase went in a garment bag. I was happy to give them $3200 for a great shopping experience and beautiful clothes!
