Reena D is right. This place is a bit of chaos, particularly in the women's section. So, for the ladies, this may not be a go to. However, I can review this from the viewpoint of a relatively stylish guy only shopping the mens section. First, the shoes. It always makes me laugh to look at the shoes and see "80% off" and the shoes are still $70. However, you can certainly find shoes worth paying that much for, and still leaving feeling like you got a great deal. The mens section, proper, does a great job of keeping the sizes together. Where the womens section has the organization of a Ross, the mens is more like Macy's or JCP. Likely due to simply carrying less product. In addition to marking sizes, they group brands together. They have the same great brands that they have in the regular Nordstrom stores, but at greater savings. I really like Penguin, Calvin Klein and a few others. They have all of the brands I like. I wear a shirt size on the smaller side that is usually difficult to locate. They always have my size, and offer many types of fits, including slim and athletic. I really appreciate that. The ties and accessories are hard to beat in quality and price. They have a casual clothing shopping side too, which includes brands like True Religion and Lucky Brand. However, with jeans I have noticed that they are odd sizes like 33x29 and 38x31. Still, at a drastically reduced price. I would suggest simply getting there and leisurely browsing, allowing time. You can find your size pretty quickly in the mens section. Also, sign up for Nordstrom rewards - it's free and you can get some grrat deals via text. read more

I'm a longtime Nordstrom rack fan but no ON athletic shoes in my size so I'm off to southlake Saw other great slip on loafers in great colors but I can't buy everything! I think this location gets shopped out since it's at the mall so I'll pop over to a different location. I need some summer mall walking shoes and hopefully I can get a run in early morning. Really one of the FEW decent places for clothes shopping in the Metroplex. People complaining should go back to TJMAXX. I'd give 5 stars but the mens selection is limited but not as much as other so called mens outlets. Shoe selection though is pretty good. read more

I love the customer service I receive at this Nordstrom rack. Whether grabbing beauty products or handling returns, the staff are always so friendly and helpful. I especially LOVE Samorn in alterations. That woman is an AMAZING and skilled seamstress. In my opinion the shoes that they did have were to expensive!! Got my kindergarderners shoes from here for $55.00 and that was the "on special" clearance price! Options suck!! Whoever is the buyer for this location needs to revisit the demographics of the area and add more fashionable and modern selections. It is awful and dull. The customer service is hit or miss. I don't get the impression they enjoy being there either. Definitely just go just to hope someone has came in and shifted the drabness in the clothing and shoe options. Horrible service, no delivery. We never received the order of a pair of shoes. Customer service was zero help. They said just to wait even though it had already been several weeks. The store associate I spoke with was extremely rude and dismissive to me. I am disappointed in Nordstrom Rack and will not be ordering anything more. read more

I am an avid Nordstrom rack shopper. I'm also pretty lucky when it comes to finding good deals when I shop at the rack. Coming from Hawaii, where I live 10 minutes away from a 2 story Nordstrom rack, this Arlington store is small and inconvenient. If you're in the area, it's worth stopping by, but I wouldn't go out of my way to shop here. Also, sales tax is so high here!! Anyway, this store is relatively small. There isn't much to choose from in the handbag, home or men's departments. The women's shoe section though, omg, heaven. I happened to come on Black Friday weekend, so clearance items were an additional 30% off! What a steal!! I found some great boots, and Coke Haan and Tory burch flats. I didn't find much of anything else. They also have only 4 cash registers and they are situated by the door that connects to the rest of the mall, not the door to and from the parking lot. Kinda weird.... The staff was pleasant enough and it wasn't too crowded even though it was Black Friday weekend. I think I'd come agin when I feel the need to buy more shoes.... :) read more

I was kinda happy to finally have a location a bit closer than my favorite SouthLake. When I walked in the vibe felt different and the store seemed more displaced, cluttered ghetto......"YES", GHETTO!! Observing the dynamics of the stores layout it just didn't feel like I was in quote, Nordstrom Rack or anything close too it. There were your well known designers and such but the presentation wasn't displaying that urgency to buy. Feeling as as though I was in a Ross Dress for Less with a designer label. The store has really grown since it's opening last year. Lots of hidden gems if you are willing to put in the time to look. Best of all the employees are well informed and can usually find what you are looking for. Best times to shop are weekdays to avoid the craziness and clutter, plus the Mall's parking is very limited on Saturdays. The do have tailoring on site and Nordstrom card holders get $100 free alterations per year (regardless of where the item was purhased) The yelp category says Men's clothes but its so much more- their Women's floor is the entire middle of the store. its a Rack been in others that were better as far as selection and atmosphere. We were in a rush but we did find something we could work wth. The store was clean and most of the associates were helpful. However, there did seem like one male employ who was very concerned about loss prevention...But didn't really seem that helpful when asked a question?? However everytime I looked up he was there!!! Just spoke with manager Joe. In August, I paid almost 200 bucks 4 a designer Ted baker bag. This week, I noticed wear on the strap. I spoke 2 Ted baker, first. They basically made a bag 2 self destruct and wanted 319 bucks 4 it with no warranty and will not help with the bag. I was told 2 go 2 nordstrom. I knew the bag was just outside the 45 day return policy. Joe could care less. I do not understand how Wal mart gives u 90 days 2 return something cheap yet nordstrom sells supposedly high end items and only give u half the time 2 ask 4 their help on the purchase? Despite designer flaws, I like the bag. This strap isn't capable of handling a large bag. Ted baker and the nordstrom family should be ashamed of themselves. I went during their clear the rack sale and found a pair of jeans that were on clearance. However, the tag wasn't red, so they didn't give me the additional 25% off. It doesn't make sense because if the cashier agrees that the item is on clearance, why wouldn't they honor the discount? Great service, great selections, great prices! I've been shopping at various locations of Nordstrom Rack in the DFW area for over 10 years, and was ecstatic when they opened the Arlington location near me. The selection is amazing (my first visit to Arlington yielded a pair of BCBG pants for $17), and the inventory changes often. I saw another review about the store being ghetto, and I have to say that was my reaction when the Southlake store first opened as well. It seems like they may take awhile to get well-stocked and refined. This location offers the same great service, selection, and prices as all the others. Oh, and something I just learned - they offer alterations while you wait! Even if you don't buy your item from Nordstrom Rack. I can't wait to use that service. read more

An order I placed online was lost in transit. I called the customer service dept and was issued a refund. The follow up email said if I later received the product I could be charged for it if it wasn't returned promptly. Days later the package arrived. I printed out the receipt of both emails and made the 15 mile trip to Arlington Parks to return the order. Because I had been issued a refund the gentleman I spoke to turned it over to the manager. She told me I didn't need a receipt. I disagreed and wanted something to verify the return because things get lost, and I didn't want to pay for the order again and have nothing to show for it. My request was met with impatience and curt answers. She had mentioned I should keep them, or call, or she could call. I replied Nordstrom touts service and this is anything but service. "Well I TOLD you I would call!" "Please do." I responded. She did, and the agent said he would send me an email. I was still to walk out of the store without anything showing I had left the shoes. I asked her to write what was done on my receipt and sign it. The request was met with irritation once more. She illegibly scribbled on the paper and handed it to me. I took a pen and asked her name and how to spell it. This was met with a testy attitude. I told her this was my money and my responsibility to protect it. Without any proof of this transaction I had no recourse if the shoes were lost or misplaced. I was not rude, just insistent. Grow up people. Take care of customers. It wasn't like I was returning tires you don't sell wanting a refund. Yet that's the story Nordstrom is famous for. All I wanted was to protect myself from mistakes on their end and not be liable for them. read more

I agree with other reviewers that Nordstrom Rack can be overwhelming. They have so much in the store and it could probably be organized better. The round racks are not really the best way to display the clothing they have. That said, you can really find some good pieces if you have time to look through it all. I really like their shoe section and can usually find something I want there. The prices are great for what you get. I once saw a Calvin Klein dress here for $60ish and walked to Macy's at the other end of the mall and saw the same dress for over $100. I absolutely love Nordstrom Rack. They always have a bountiful selection of women's clothing, shoes, and accessories. It is a little more upscale than a Marshall's or TJMax but boasts around the same prices. I love coming here for discounted designer jeans (Paige, Seven, and True Religion) because I can often find a pair for $80 or less, which is around $100-$150 less than the original department store price.
