He was "forced" step aside so we could get by due to some rearranging of shelving. He gave a very audible "HUFF" as if he was terribly inconvenienced. This behavior was so rude, I almost made the decision to not spend my money in the store. Once we made our selection, we got in line. The area of socks, sneaker balls, etc., that is next to the line was pretty messy. "Allen" stormed around the store and walked by this area and said very loudly, "What the hell happened here?" I understand it is the Holidays and people can be difficult and stores can be messy from lazy shoppers but the need to maintain professionalism is necessary, considering Allen's lanyard said, 10 Years of Service.

Compared to other sneaker stores I've patroned the prices are what you would expect for resale. Where LC stands out is the customer service. As a female, it's important to me that I feel safe and unpressured when I'm shopping - and that I'm not manslpained to or tried to take advantage of because of it. Sneaker stores are usually run to accommodate a specific demographic, so I don't always feel welcomed as an older female. That is not the case here as I'm always greeted by a friendly face and left to peruse without pressure to purchase. The variety of styles and options to pick from are plentiful and have just about anything for anyones lifestyle. The shoes are properly displayed on shelves categorized by gender and size with a price tag on the box. There were multiple signs displayed around the store with an additional percentage off at the register. The clothing options were just as superb as the shoes varietys with many different styles to choose from when shopping. This is probably the worst retail experience I've ever had. If I could give ZERO stars, I…read moreabsolutely would. I bought a pair of shoes I went home that night a decided that didn't want it anymore. So not even 24 hours later, I went back. I happen to see the cashier that had sold me the shoe originally. She tells me she can't do a full refund, only exchange because it's worn. I told her "No, it's not worn. I want a refund, not an exchange." So, she flips the shoe over and says, "I would not have sold it to you like this, this is damaged. We can't accept this." Insisting I did not wear the shoe, I kept demanding for a refund. I told her that I don't want an exchange, there's nothing wrong with the shoe. I probably argued with the cashier for 5 minutes. She calls for a her manager on the phone and they say the same thing. The manager never even came out to see the merchandise. Finally I took the shoe back and went some where else, but there was so way I was backing down. I finally came back a asked for a corporate number to file a complaint. Told the operator this exact story. So they sent my complaint to the district manager of this store. A day after, they sent an email, apologizing and told me to come back to the store to the return the shoes to a manager on duty. When I came back to the store, I never even got an apology. Just a pathetic 10% coupon that I denied right away. They wasted my time over a $20 shoe and losing my business completely. I had to come back twice on different days, wasting my gas. Clearly these idiots don't know the difference between a worn shoe and an unworn shoe. There is no way I'm ever coming back, and I urge you to do the same. Tell all your friends and family!

My coworker and I dropped by the store this afternoon to purchase some earrings. I needed to replace a broken pair, which I had purchased at this very store some years ago. As we were browsing around, we were followed around the store the entire time we were there. Mind you, none of the non-black patrons were being followed. To avoid being in the store longer than necessary, I asked for assistance to locate what I was looking for. I go over to that section and once again, here comes a store worker, acting as if she had to put product on the shelf in the same area and at the same time I was there. She did the exact same thing in a different aisle that we were in a few minutes prior. She did not to provide assistance or ask if I needed some help, her sole purpose was to keep a watchful eye as if I was there to steal something like a common thief. This was the same woman who was following my coworker and I. Never, in my 56 years on this planet have I ever been treated so poorly! I will never again patronize this store! If you are a person of color, please be mindful of where you spend your money. It definitely shouldn't be in spaces where we are not welcomed. #shoppingwhileblack!
