Very sad to hear a store manager claim she put a security wrap on an item that was damaged and part stolen back on the shelves to deceive innocent people to purchase. We went here to exchange a shirt purchased at the one in the Irving mall I believe we were at check out line 11 cashier was Tracy older black women Tracy was given the receipt along with the shirt Tracy asked my boyfriend if he wore the shirt and preceded to SMELL the shirt WTF... let me be clear about something the shirt still had the tag on it Absolutely nothing wrong with the shirt it's was literally purchased to be apart of a joker costume for Halloween . Tracy then says she needs the receipt but we had already given it to her and it was in her hand She then tells us the shirt is not pulling up in the system And asked where we got it from which is on the receipt as well but we tell her Irving mall She then asked how much it was which is also on the receipt but we tell her 14.99 She says I need to call a manager because she can't confirm the purchase Manager comes over scans receipt and guess what it comes right up Tracy then asks the manager if it's okay for us to exchange the shirt and manager gives the green light I'm not sure what Tracy's problem was but she dead set on finding away out of this EXCHANGE and it was VERY obvious . Bigger selection and more organized than Ross. One of the cashiers was sick checking me out and that made me feel nervous. It made me sad people have to go to work while sick. What if they have covid and spread it to other people. People who are sick should be able to stay home and have sick pay no matter if they are full time or part time and stay in bed and eat chicken soup and watch HBO. And drink ice-cold 7-Up for their sore throat. We all deserve that as human beings. Just not right. It's the things you think about when you go into a store to have a good time. read more

April 4, 2022 My husband and I were in the store looking for a desk chair. While we were shopping we could hear a man speaking very loudly in another aisle. We tried to ignore as we continued to shop, but his voice was so loud. We then heard the man say "If you are here speaking Spanish how does that make you look? Not good, it separates you from the team." My husband and I were taken back by what we were hearing and we wanted to know who this person was talking to. We walked past 5 aisles before we got to the aisle where an older man ( whose name is Danny) and a young Hispanic woman were standing. The older man seemed to be a person of importance at this store. There were other customers who had started to browse around the area to see what was going on. The man (Danny) proceeded to say "I want you making smart decisions by communicating with everyone in english when you are working here... Doesn't matter if you can speak both with employees and customers...Just speak English... You want this establishment to be viewed as professional...I am trying to help you make better choices...set you on the right path..." The other customers and I began to talk about how unprofessional he was; how rude and careless he was (even though we was calling it a teachable moment); and how insensitive he was to the fact that customers could hear him. To make matters worse the conversation sounded like he was talking to himself. The young lady NEVER raised her voice when she responded to him. Even when we were standing in the same aisle you could only hear the man speaking and a very faint response from the young lady. I planned to wait until the conversation was over to let the man know that his choice to have this conversation out in the open was very inappropriate, however, he kept going on and on and the young lady was crying. I then walked up to him and politely explained what we, the customers, where seeing and hearing. He expressed " Ok, but this is a teachable moment." I told him that this moment needed to happen in the back instead of around customers because he was starting to draw a crowd. He said "Thank you for the feedback" and they walk to the back of the store behind closed doors so that he could finish reprimanding her. This conversation was disturbing on a lot of levels. It displayed work place aggression; lack of understanding and not embracing employees ethnic background; most importantly it shows that he wants certain employees to abdicate who they are in order to work at this establishment. What He ( Danny) failed to understand is that a large percentage of his customers do not ONLY speak English and that the young lady is able to services those customers in a way he is unable to. Customers want to shop at a place where they are represented and he clearly vocalized to THOSE customers that their native language was unprofessional, inappropriate and unwelcomed. read more

So I'm not necessarily a shoe freak but when I do get shoes, I like to get something different. I have heels in all sorts of colors, textures and patterns. I also hate spending a lot of money. That's why I come here. I don't know why people forget this store is here but if I have something specific in mind that I want to get, this is where I usually go and most times can locate it with success. I recently went and they reorganized the store. It's a million times better in there. There's a clear separation of departments. You can move easily between racks of clothing. The store was clean and so were the dressing rooms. I highly suggest you avoid going on Friday and Saturday evenings. In my experience those are the busiest times and you'll most surely be stuck waiting in a massive line. But you can find some one of a kind gems here. Don't wave them off. read more

I don't like to complain and am generous with my reviews. But I would NOT recommend people waste their time here. The shelves were empty! It took me 30 minutes to locate men's dress shirt section with no help at sight. When I did find it, there were literally 2 shirts in size 16. Really? And no, other sizes didn't have any bigger selection either from what I saw. Clothing is of poor quality and not cheap. This place used to be better. They had Calvin Klein, Michael Kors, Ralph Lauren etc. Now they carry not many of these. read more

I grew up coming to Burlington Coat Factory, I remember it was nice clean place to shop. I was so disappointed when I walked in after many years. This place is a dump, empty shelves, dirty floors and the clothes are all in racks as if you walked in a thrift store. What happen ? I thought if it was going out of business. The bathrooms are nasty, it looks like they don't clean them. I feel like Ross is 10x better that this junk of a place. Don't want to be so negative, but somebody has to realized they mess up. Purchased a Madden Girl purse, which then fell apart in less than 40 days. The stitching came apart in two places. One of which held the strap to the purse. Due to their policy, they wouldn't even let me swap the I purse out. Nothing. So I'm out the money and the purse. Way to go, Burlington. Not. You've lost my business for good. read more

RUDE EMPLOYEES AND MANAGEMENT. I went in there to do some summer shopping and I spent 2 hours in there looking for various swimsuits and other clothing. Loaded my cart, went to the fitting room and I was told by the dressing room attendant to leave my stuff on a the clothing rack next to her, and to select my first 6 items to try on. I followed her instructions, went into the fitting room, tried on my first 6 items, came back out to get 6 more and i realized most of my things were gone (had been put back) and that there was a new attendant. I was angry that obviously the previous attendant didn't communicate, to whomever she was switching out with, for break or whatever she was doing, that she was holding my clothes on the rack. So i basically wasted 2 hours of my time looking for things to try on, that were put back by an employee in 5 minutes. I complained to the new attendant and the woman who was obviously putting clothes back, she had a serious attitude and refused to go back and get my things, although she knew where she put them. She was obviously extremely lazy and had zero knowledge of customer service. I then asked to speak to the manager. A woman named Hailey came to the fitting room, I was told that she was the so called manager. I explained what happened and she just stood their staring at me with a blank stare (like she was in la-la land while i was talking....maybe i sounded like Charlie Brown to her).....which I thought was extremely weird for a manager. No acknowledgement of my concern or the issue. She was just very nonchalant or indifferent. So I asked her, "Do you not have anything thing to say?" She replied, "What do you want me to say?" Then I told her, "Don't worry about it," since she obviously didn't care, and I left. Definitely WILL NEVER shop at this location again and any other Burlington's. There are several stores that offer the same products. I complained to corporate and I was told they would forward it to the store manager and the manager would call me in 48 hrs or so. Never heard anything from them. Hailey is one of the store managers. That may be why LOL. Why "manage" if you don't care about the consumer or consumer experience. I had a terrible experience with your whole company. First I ordered a bunch of items online they came with no incident the only problem is one of the items I ordered was a set and one was a size 10 and the other was a 7. I figured that was no problem seeing you guy said you can return and exchange with no problem in store. so I drove to the store in Arlington Texas and the guy had to call the manager to the front (Casandra) She was very unprofessional in acting like I was not there. she said I had to bring the whole set in which I did not want to return the set I just wanted the correct size shirt. Working In retail I know the customer comes first and in this instance I was put last. The icing on the cake was that the Casandra lady went to the rest of the staff and began talking and laughing about the situation. Not very ADA friendly. None of the people working there even offered to help my roommate out of the building. There are no automatic doors for those in power chairs/wheelchairs. Also several of the doors were blocked by the store carts that the wheels lock at the stores door. I brought this to their attention and even mentioned that it was a fire hazard. They were seamed like they didn't care. I wasn't impressed at all. And from other reviews of their stores it looks like I'll never set foot in one again read more
