I love Dillards. I always find really cute dresses for weddings or dancy work events. Lots of options for women that like a midi or full length gown. Customer service is wonderful. Clean fitting rooms and one is always available. I dont go often but when I do I dont regret it. read more

Today was one of those days where I needed a self-care day. I went to Dillards and as I was walking in there was loud music and lots of energy and there he was this beautiful man moving his hands in a careful but magical way across this woman's face . I had to stop to inquire who is this whats going on there it was a sign Alex Sanchez markup artist . I immediately wanted to know how can I get this treatment. I sat in chair for a consult and was immediately given some information on care skin care by Lancôme .My skin cleaned ,pampered. I left with new regimen and souvenirs and cake and candy . We were shopping in the Ariat mens section. We came to buy a nice dress shirt and so my boyfriend was trying on shirts while me and my sister were sitting waiting for him. The obtuse cop started staring at us and when we were checking out, he told the cashier to check our bags but they didn't. The cop then went to an exit but it wasn't our exit. If they think people in the fitting room are stealing then maybe they should have someone working the fitting rooms instead of following us around the place after we try on and PURCHASE clothes. read more

Major issue returning items/gifts after holidays. Last week tried to return child's new shoes (gift to granddaughter). Item was paid for in store on my Dillards card (had it for decades) and paper receipt was lost/misplaced. The store did not have the right size when first selecting them and ordered a larger size to be delivered to our home. Not an "online order", the store clerk ordered them for delivery and I paid in the store with my Dillards card. Original order was lost and the store ordered a second pair. Second pair arrived for Christmas but did not fit. Tried to return them and the manager young lady told me that there was nothing to show the shoes had been ordered there, and there was no record of my Dillards card "in their system". Looking for a higher manager to resolve this before I dispute the purchase. read more

Every year Dillards does a VIP night for their valued customers during the holidays. Unfortunately, the VIP night is no longer what I would consider worth going to. Every year I looked forward to taking my mom for her to do Christmas shopping during this event. Prior to the last couple of years, they made it special, there would be entertainment, servers would come through the departments offering snacks and drinks were plenty. Last year it was scaled down a lot, but nothing to compare to this year. No entertainment other than santa, the gift drawings were much smaller, and to just find a small bottled water was a search, like they were being hidden. The food had no utensils, so people were grabbing with their hands, not good and the three containers to get drinks were empty within the hour and nothing to refill. The stock in the store was down so we only ended up getting one shire and had to order the pants online. We will not come back ever for VIP night which is very disappointing as it used to be something we looked forward to. read more

I started shopping at Dillard's in 2020. I used to shop at another anchor store at this mall, but now I shop at Dillard's. Dillard's has a nice selection of big and tall shirts, and shorts from Callaway, Polo, Tommy Bahama, and other brands. Dillard's also has a nice selection of men's fragrances as well. I have always found the service friendly and helpful. read more

I received horrible customer service when speaking with a phone representative in Fort Worth, TX. She exacerbated my frustration by talking over me and using condescending words: "If you had let me finish..." Ilse, her name, might as well have been a robot!! ~ There was no genuine care or concern for wanting to help me. Also, people should know that if you have a complaint there's no way to read what is submitted, if it has been received or reviewed. Went in on yesterday and attempted to sample a new fragrance Burberry Hero , a Caucasian female saw walked towards the counter as I had been there for over 3-5 mins awaiting a representative and I simply asked if I could get a sample and she rudely stated NO! Emphatically that they didn't give samples so I said ok thanks no worries I walked out the location and I passed a beautiful African woman and simply stopped to ask if they gave samples or was that a new policy due to Covid she said yes they do and proceeded to offer me the sample I left came back because I felt discriminated so bad I had to speak to the manager she seemed sincere in making sure my complaint went heard but not sure how Much will happen !!! Just beware BLACK MEN going to this store I will never patronize this location again!! read more

I went to Dillard's in Arlington today. There is a sale and I wanted to shop. BUT, as I walked through the store, which was busy, I noticed that about half the customers (maybe more than half) and at least half or more of the Dillard's employees were wearing their masks below their noses, on their chins or around their necks! Don't these people know that a mask is only effective if it fully covers a person's nose and mouth? I was shocked and disgusted and complained to customer service. Then I left. I am high risk and really appreciate places that strictly follow the masking and spacing guidelines. Won't be shopping at Dillard's for a good long time and recommend that anyone concerned about Covid-19 shop somewhere else. read more

Maybe the day I went to shop was just in the cards? I had the best service I've ever received in a Dillard's! Not just in one department either. I was gearing up to go to Margarita Ball and needed everything. Dress, shoes, accessories- the whole shebang. I went in search of a blue slinky number but the sales clerk put me into a foxy red dress and I fell in love. I was able to pair shoes and find a necklace, bracelet and earrings to match. The boyfriend selected a tie that matches the dress perfectly. It really was one stop shopping and I was so excited. I'm not big on shopping and often find myself wanting to leave shortly after arrival. This was definitely not one of those times and I am so grateful :) I'll make the drive from Fort Worth to go to this store over the others. read more

Be aware, Dillard's return policy is very bad. I made a substantial purchase, I returned to the store 5 days later and noticed the item was on sale for 40% off. I asked if they would refund the 40% and was told they will not. I replied that I would simply return the item and then repurchase at the sale price. The manager said to me that if I return the item, it must sit on their shelf for 24 hours before I would be allowed to repurchase it. This is contrary to all major retailers who will typically honor the sale discount for up to a week at minimum. Why would they rather irritate a good customer with such an ugly policy when I have so many other retail choices that offer a better policy on sale merchandise? They have lost my business, which will cost them more than the 40% discount I should have been given. Buyers beware. read more

This is the only place that carries the RSVP Men's Skincare line as far as I know. However, on Saturday I went in knowing exactly what I wanted yet I got swarmed by a salesperson that didn't listen to me and then got an attitude when I didn't buy what she was pushing. Following this the salesperson that did help me was very disinterested. I left after spending nearly $250 and feeling like I was putting the saleslady out. I know they work off commission so I do not understand this attitude. The employees in nearly every department are car dealership style hounds that follow uncomfortably. The same ties and shoes can be found elsewhere at a better price. I will say that they have a larger selection of some harder to locate watches, fragrances and skincare products. Additionally, there are a couple of salespersons there that are very kind and helpful. read more

Dillard's has a nice men's clothing department with good deals throughout the year. You get what you pay for. The men in my family like shopping at Dillard's because the material is a nicer quality. The fragrance department meets our needs as well. I have enjoyed buying makeup from the beauty department also. The only reason I gave them 4 stars is because they don't carry women's tall's nor do they advertise like other stores. You have to go in to the store to see what they have on sale when other stores advertise online. Other than that, it is a very nice and quiet place to shop. read more

Ridiculous!!! Bad customer service I have ever seen. I bought a pair of shoes for my bf but they weren't fit him at all. I tried to return them at store. Nobody asked me to help even though more than 10 staffs sat in front and did nothing. . After 15 mins waiting an old man showed up, and acted like I stole something from him. This is by far the best department store in the area. The selection is exquisite - huge and of good quality. There is a range of prices and they are straight forward, not gimmicky based upon sales and coupons. They do have big end of season discounts. Some items are quite expensive, but I love just to look at these nice things. The other big department stores at the parks absolutely do not have the same level of quality. There are still many things that are affordable and comparable in price to any where else. They also have service here. That's right, employees who will help you with selection, bring sizes etc. And, this is in every department. read more

They have a lot of shoes but barely any assistance to help you with the shoes. I asked three women for help. The first two walked off with no word and the third one asked me what did I need because she was trying to clean up and put shoes away though it was 3:30 pm. There was a lines of people waiting for a sales person to help then get shoes from the back. I did see two gentleman appearing to be the main ones running around but those two weren't enough for the number of people waiting. Ridiculous!!!! read more

Google listed this location as "closed". It should be. Tried to return an outfit a few hours after I purchased it because I found something better at another store. The sales lady accused me of wearing it and then returning. I had to insist she check the receipt and note the items were only purchased a few hours ago. She tried to say there was makeup on the clothes so that's why she had a problem. Don't buy anything here. You will thank me later. read more
