Receipt# 0249-03-7040-5184-2 Your Ross location @ 4646 S. Cooper, Arlington, TX on Thursday, July 3, 2025 was, as always "A Mess" and quite busy. I only saw once employee on the floor throughout the store and in housewares. Clothes were off hanger, all over the floor in the women's and ladies department. Shoes were disorganized with almost more on the floor than shelves blocking the passage of shopping carts. Many departments, expecially houseware/ home decor were not priced. Once I decided on a possible purchase of a "not priced" home decor item... as usual there was a long, long wait in the checkout line with only (2) registers open. I get to the register with "Asia" who had just called out over the intercom system to tell the employee in housewares (she came upfront) and again was told to go to break. "Asia" said to the other open register employee (later learned she was the store manager) that the lady was a new hire. Asia's check-out counter had a stack of hangers preventing me and others previously from placing their purchases comfortably on the counter. I had returns to apply to purchase once the price could be determined but before I could ask any question "Asia" was ringing up items that were returns as well as the item I had for price comparison since the one I was interested in was unmarked. In an attempt to correct the charges (my money) by this young ladies error her attitude went straight to "Outright RUDE". She was rushing, very impatient and her tone began to get louder I assuming from trying to determine what she had rang up. In short, "She Was Doing TOO Much", "So Unneccessary" when all she had to do was listen and answer simple questions to where this customer could understand the charges. I am not one to wait for a transaction to close to learn I was incorrectly charged. I questioned why and where her attitude was coming from since it was evident to myself and others waiting in line that she was annoyed to have to readjust the charges. I told her I no longer needed her assistance and would go to the other register. Loudly she told me "You can go anywhere you want", finalized the sale without thanking me and called for the next customer before I could gather my items and walk away. Unbelivable without an understanding to her trigger? I gathered my other items for purchase/return and asked for the manager (Angela) who ironically was on the next open register. With customers seeing "Asia" lod negativity they allowed me to cut the line and meet with "Angela" the manager on the next register. All due respect I was surprised that "Angela" was the manager because she was so timid and gave a soft empathic "I'm sorry" apology. It was evident to me that nothing was going to be said to "Asia" when I suggested the manager inquire about my experience while I was standing there, but not. I did not want "Asia" to say I was not being truthful for the experience I'd just had. I believe "Asia" would have had even more attitude with "Angela" had she asked anything of her. From observation while waiting in the check-out line I suspected that Asia may have been the manager acting like she controlled scheduling. The short version of this all is me being 71years old that "I don't do rachet and or ghetto" which is how "Asia" came off in my opinion. That kind of attitude is far below any pay grade I ever had. I am comfortably retired and don't have to work! "Asia's" attitude does not give Ross "A Good Look" for customer service and or a favorable review. All the years of shopping at Ross Stores that is the first negative experience I have ever had. I shop multiple Ross stores, weekly and frequently. "Asia" needs to go" if this is how she treats Ross paying customers, Unacceptable!!!!! Ross you can do much better!!! read more

Checkout lines were extremely long, but the associates worked together to make the line move a little quicker. I had an exchange. It went smooth worth no difficulty. They make the chaos work. read more

Every time I go into this store late afternoon evening the line is way to the back of the store.... And there's one or two cashiers. We are tired we got off work, ran to Ross to buy whatever and then we have to wait 30 minutes to get to out to get home. Your building 100 more stores? read more

I know not to go to this location unless I'm prepared to dig around for almost an hour. I wish I listened to my own advice today since they only had 3 registers open with a line going all the way back to the dress section. I hadn't looked up to notice it until I was ready to check out, I just thought it was over crowded in the dress section....it was actually the LINE. It's a Saturday before Mother's Day, not Black Friday with a line that long and they had 3 lanes open. It wasn't worth the wait for the 2 things I found so we left. Whoever manages this location really needs to evaluate how shifts are scheduled and plan accordingly. Not to mention how dirty this location is allowed to be. read more

Omg I go nuts in that store!!!! I'm usually in there for two hours loving every second. I have priced checked high end brand name items that were originally 150$ + for 12.99$! I have no problem with any employee ever. They are always courteous. They work hard stocking those shelves!! I have family in California and SW Ft Worth that comes to that store and are thrilled. There is a pretty blonde lady that comes up and asks me if I am finding things ok I think she is the manager? The security guard is a hoot. Love him!! So as you can see I absolutely love this place. This Ross has high foot traffic. Was a Wednesday close to the afternoon and was super packed when I came in. I managed to score some clothing super cheap but the changing rooms were a mess. Of course its the beginning of summer, and was annoyed none of the changing rooms had an actual lock. Plus there was no ventilation. It was door magnets sticking to the metal frame but it seems that they are super worned out, and could tell people were using gum to shut their doors. I had to use my bag for it to lean on the door because some children were pushing all the doors open. Store needs to fix this as it is a privacy issue. Also, one of the changing staff women was super rude to me and other customers as we were all checking in/out our clothes. No need to snatch my clothes and say "you dont want those? THEN PUT THEM RIGHT HERE". I understand these people don't get paid enough and are frustrated there's so much to deal with, but I literally made her job easy dividing the ones I didn't wanted to purchased. I just needed her "ok" to place them on the rack, plus she forgot to take my card. I was just being as nice as possible but I guess next time I'll just go about my business. read more

If you like being treated like a shoplifter then this is the place to go. They have cameras everywhere, a security guard posted at the entrance to "greet" you, and ridiculous dressing room policies where you have a tiny limit of items to try on and must hang everything on a rack both before and after you go in and out. I found a stash of like 10 shirts that seemed promising that I wanted to try on so I tried to bring them to the fitting room and was told I couldn't bring in that many so I put half back. After trying them on I decided I liked and wanted to buy 2 of them so I returned the others and held on to them and went back to get the other half to try on and was told by the bitchy employee that I couldn't try the second group of 5 on because the 2 I was holding put me over the limit again so to avoid changing 3 times she assured me she'd hold one to one of the ones I was going to buy for me. After trying on the others I only wanted one of them so I put the rest on the reject rack and asked for the one she was holding back which she could not find. I was livid. It was her demand that forced me to leave it there in the first place and I was only in the fitting room for a few minutes and she couldn't even keep track of it that long. I didn't want to make a scene so I just left but I lost out on the item I wanted and felt like I was just wasting my time in the store if the items I select to buy are taken away from me if I want to try any more on. I guess from now on if I ever decide to return to this low brow store I will never try on more than one limit of clothes for the whole trip but that is usually not nearly enough to find anything good meaning I have little reason to ever come here again. Clothes are hard for me to find and this was a particularly good day for success which she ruined. Not to mention she made it a horrible experience like I was at fault for needing to try on a lot of items to find appropriate fitting shirts. I have an unusually short torso so most shirts are like dresses on me and pants come up to my neck so finding tops that look good requires lots of effort which she made even more difficult. On top of all that there are no locks on the fitting room stalls since they are all broken probably intentionally. The store is always busy and often the lines get out of sight. The prices are never that great and the quality of items is hit or miss. Supposedly they have sales but I've never managed to catch one since they don't advertise them and the employees will downright lie to you about markdown days saying we never have them even though I have watched multiple YouTubers go to them all over the country around the same time. I've only been here a handful of times but this was the last straw. I know enough about the place to know to avoid it unless you like being treated like trash. I have a very negative memory of this store after this experience and with all my previous negative impressions I have no desire to ever return and I can't imagine why anybody wants to put up with this place and it's crappy policies and low class treatment. Shame is that it is the closest discount store to me but I'd rather drive twice as far to one of the numerous others to avoid this one again. read more

This is the worst store I have ever seen. I just waited at customer service for 1 hour to speak with a manager who was called repeatedly and then lied in front of her employees that she didnt hear their repeated calls. Only to have her degrade my intelligence and then deny my return of 3 dresses that were clearly marked purchased from this store. I will NEVER step foot in this store. What a terrible experience. Tia the manager abd the gal at register tested me badly . Poor customer service as I was spending $486 And I have been through chemo and cancer and I told them that so I had forgotten I changed my pin on my bank card. It was declined and as I was trying to talk to the bank they shoved me aside sbd treated me racial discrimination for being white. I didn't matter abd they don't care about the sakes they even told me to just leave my stuff. I finally got my card to work and bought my stuff but I will never go back to that store. That was the worst customer service Iv ever had and worst Iv been treated fir being white. My life matters and im fighting to be the 20% that survives this cancer but they didn't care to help and just wanted me gone. They made me cry and didn't care. Ross store is racially discriminatory against who're people. I was the only one there and they do not hire white people either. they just wanted me out of the store. But who am I to try and survive cancer, but something or some legal action needs to be taken against Ross for their employees being racial discrimination against whites. It's reverse discrimination and this will be on Facebook, Apple Maps, google abd more . Maybe even the news people need to know what Ross stores are doing . I don't discriminate and I have friends of all colors who are mad at what happened to me there tonight. Manager Tia needs to be reprimanded and action needs to be taken to make white lives matter too. I enjoy going to Ross to grab last years item at an affordable price and I'm well aware that I get what I pay for. While this store was clean, although cluttered with misplaced product, my experience quickly went down hill at the checkout. I got in line with 14 customer groups ahead of me and 1 register open. When it got to 9 in front of me they finally opened a second. All in all I was in the store 40 minutes and over 30 of that was in line to checkout. read more

I love to shop at Ross they always have great deals, but this location in particular has always given me issues. For Christmas my mother in law bought me a pack of underwear and I went to try and exchange them for the same brand just a diff size and they said I couldn't because I didn't have the receipt or the Ross tags the manager said bring the receipt and we will be able to process the exchange. I went back 3 days later which is today with the receipt and the Manager Amanda told me I couldn't exchange it because it was purchased at the Ross in forth worth and their merchandise have different serial numbers in the system. I wasn't trying to do anything bad I just want to exchange my item for something I can actually use or wear.The manager just shrugged and said there was nothing she could do. I said my receipt says Ross this is Ross you guys have the same brand of underwear in your shelf why can't I just bring u those and you ring them up she said because they have different inventory than we do. I myself will no longer shop at this location. My recommendation to you if you purchase something from here even if is a gift don't take the Ross tags off or they won't be able to exchange it. read more

I come to shop with you at 9:30 am with my coffee and your "security" kid tells me 'no drinks allowed, ma'am the drink!' Most high end stores give you drinks as you walk in! Come on, get over yourselves. read more

Not my favorite Ross location, but its close enough to work when i have the itch! try to go no later in the week than Wednesday, or it will be slim pickings and you will walk out empty handed. also, watch for little demon kids running around as for some reason the women's in this store seem to let them loose as soon as they walk in. read more

She is the most unprofessional personal that I know.. she is rude, you can tell she has no education at all.. don't know how she made it to store manager .this is the second time I have a problem at ross and she both times has been such a bi $!#% additude about it... bad experience .!! This location is always a disaster, and always packed full of people. The selection of clothes is also very limited, and usually damaged.

Love this place. Just got a $228 Michael Kors bag for $120. This place has awesome selection!

I was able to get $200 worth of shirts for $50. The staff was quick with checking out and getting through the line. They need to increase the variety of clothing. It was the same clothes but in different sizes and colors. I'm sure there are tons of ppl walking around Arlington right now with the exact same shirt on. read more

Ross's store management at "some" locations have "somewhat" improved. They are starting to make regular announcements on the PA system to remind those parents that are ignorant to watch and keep close to them their demon-possess brats while in the store. Their bouncers, or rather, security staff are talking now and greet you as you come in. The exception being the female one at the troubled Hulen location. She still isn't talking. She completely ignores you when you talk to her, I'll assume she is a deaf-mute person,that's why she ignores you,right? There is hope despite the resistant few staff that just don't want to act right. At Hulen I am happy to report the staff is now wearing underwear, clothing that covers them up, thank God. At The Cooper location a clerk by the name Ashton was very nice,great personality and gave excellent service. He gave such good service I had to double check to make sure I wasn't at Macy's or Dillards. At Hulen they have remodeled the entrance. I will periodically keep my Yelpers posted. Jesus, who wants to spend an arm and a leg all the time at the big name retailers due to the discount retailers giving such crappy service, I know I don't. This store was horrible and unacceptable I have not seen a store like this before there was trash all over the floors and almost all departments has merchandise on the floor!!! I must say for the bargains they are awesome... However the store is in bad shape. Don't believe I would visit this store anymore in the future. read more
