You sign a contract and there is no recourse for being unsatisfied with the purchase! I made the mistake of getting firm cushions. Most uncomfortable chair I've ever owned. The recliner is stationary with no hand assist and doesn't rock. It's hard to close the recliner and get out of the chair. On a good note, I like the firm sofa but still wish I would have gone with an softer cushion version.

Our budget and time frame ended up being a little tighter than we had originally hoped due to some required foundation and electrical work, so we had to scale back our project and go with a smaller business. However, we are hoping when we do our next project, which will be the kitchen, that Ray and Nohemi will be available. Would love to work with them beyond just the design phase.

But what we love about HDP is they stand behind their work and they are as honest and trustworthy as you get. Just incredible people. It is 2025 and we again have a few projects we want to do and some things we want updated. Ray was able to reach out to the subcontractor who worked with us during our 2016 remodel to make changes to our home security system and cameras. Seriously, almost 10 years later. We had a custom built steel gate installed in 2016. Ray still knew who built it and knew what would be involved at adding a new coat of paint. Ray also helped with moving us over to one system like Ring, Nest,or Wyze. Instead of a hodge podge of various products. This has been huge. During that process he reminded us that the new code requires 3 smoke/fire/carbon detectors. We have referred several friends to HDP and allowed individuals to tour our home and inspect his work. Because we continue to be that impressed. Last week we again gave him a long list of normal wear and tear items to more extensive projects and he submitted his review timely and accurately along with a couple suggestions. After a video call and an onsite visit, Fallon returned near perfect renderings that captured all the elements of the room we were evaluating. I was just there to look at furniture. She kept pressing us about who we voted for saying she didn't want Trump supporters as customers. I was somewhat frightened so I said Kamala Harris just to calm her down. We stayed a few mins longer and made up an excuse about a dental appointment just to get out of there.
