I stopped by today and no one greeted me or even ask if I needed helped. I really wanted to purchase some indoor plants and a few outdoor plants. It was sad I walked around for a while and got no assistance. I definitely won't be back and won't recommend it to my friends and family. It was very disappointing to say the least. read more

I've shopped here religiously for five years until Monday, 3 May 2021. I had THE WORST experience EVER. And it sucks that I think it was the owner. He was an older, bearded, rude, hateful, sarcastic piddly man wearing a baseball cap. I went in and he was standing behind the counter. A small group of folk had just walked away. I had three questions. The first question was about the location of a snake plant. The man pointed to some plants near where we were standing then started to walk away. I told him that I had more questions to which he responded dismissively as he was walking towards a group of people who were standing near the plants. This was the same small group that had just walked away from him. He said to me as an afterthought "I'm going to answer you." As he said that, his back was to me. He never broke his stride as he walked away. He then began an entire conversation with the group that he walked away from me to go talk to. He began giving them instructions and pointing. At this point, I decided to cut my losses and leave. He obviously wasn't into helping me. As I started towards my car, I decided to go back to let him know how dismissive he was. When I went back, he was talking to another customer. I waited for him to finish before I started to tell him about how he had just mishandled me. I never fully got my words out because he immediately responded with a few choice words for me. He was rude, sarcastic and demeaning. Among some of the things he said with vitriol and hate: -well what did you want me to do for you ma'am -well you just pray for me -well just don't come back TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE. This awful, petty "business owner" doesn't care about my hard earned money and he doesn't know how to communicate respectfully. I really liked this place, but that hateful dude trashed any previously good experiences that I ever had at this place. Straight hateful, condescending, and disrespectful interactions is what you too may eventually receive. I I could give zero stars, I definitely would. read more

I purchased some flagstones from The Greenery and they were delivered to Frisco without a hitch! I love the various inventory and the wonderful customer service that the Green Family provides. The assorted water features, trees, bedding plants, stones and so much more make this eight-acre landscaping business a destination place! Our daughter, said, Dad, "why haven't you shared this with me before?" One could spend hours walking around to see what The Greenery has to offer! Deliver fees are reasonable and the twice-a-year auction is a must! Bruce and Scott do an incredible job of hosting this awesome event! read more

The Greenery has a great assortment of items from antiques to cowhides and, of course, foliage. The establishment attempts to cast its net hoping to have at least one thing you might consider buying. Ultimately, you will probably find at least something that catches your eye if you decide to stop. If your like me you may not find the exact plant you want, like a Hoya carnosa compacta, but you can get a decently priced ponytail palm or succulent. There is also quite a difference between the outdoor plant selection and the indoor plant selection. The Greenery has a wide array of outdoor plant. Although I did not go through them all, due to the scorching Texas heat, I did get to see a few vines and trees. My main concern with their outdoor plants is that it was very difficult to find the name or the price of a plant without asking an employee. Maybe it's just my millennial mindset or my love of efficient businesses, but I did not want to ask the name and price of every plant that I though looked nice. It seemed like a waste of my day and the employees time. The indoor plant selection is very limited and sequestered I a room off to the side of the main building, or at least that was the only assortment of indoor plants that I could find. They were priced and labeled well, but the selection wasn't even close to the amount of plant diversity available in chain stores like Lowe's and Home Depot. Overall, the establishment is nice and has potential. I would really like to see them expand their indoor plant selection and maybe have more of a target population of consumers; or maybe I'm not the targeted consumer and that is why I am unsatisfied . read more

For example, if you've ever said to yourself, "What this garden really needs is a big ol Gulf Gasoline sign hanging over it like a big petroleum sun - from days of yore," THIS is your hotspot! This is mostly a spot for shrubs, trees and sun loving plants.
