Highly recommend!

Rain or Shine - These Guys Deliver!…read more Ellis County Landscapes absolutely came through when no one else would. While other mowing services were canceling or making excuses because of prior rain days--"the ground's still too wet," etc.--Blake and his team showed up ready to work. Even in less-than-ideal weather, they started trimming things down to a clean, acceptable level and returned promptly as soon as the rain let up to finish the job. That kind of dedication is rare. Blake was easy to communicate with, responsive, and genuinely great to deal with throughout the entire process. You can tell these guys are true professionals--from their attitude to the quality of their work and the top-tier equipment they use. I'm genuinely looking forward to working with Ellis County Landscapes again. Highly recommend!

In my opinion, this business was much better before they moved to the new location. We used to buy…read moretons of plants and décor here, and one of the best parts was talking with the older lady who really knew her plants and trees. Her knowledge and the friendly, small-town feel always kept us coming back, and the prices were fair. Now, with the new location, it feels more like a corporate operation. The small-town charm is gone, and so are the reasonable prices. Everything seems way overpriced, to the point where it feels like my wallet is being taken advantage of. I now find myself shopping at other nurseries where I can get a better deal and still receive good service. It's sad to see a local business that built a loyal following in town lose its character and affordability. Unfortunately, it feels like greed got the best of what once was a great place to shop.

Charlie reached out to me, I told him my son needed a very large but dead tree to be cut down and the stump to be grinded out. He came out later that day, was very polite, respectful (I only say that as most men doing business with women, are not), he looked over the tree, we negotiated a fair price (with my son on the phone) and he said I would be his last job the following day & he would text me when they were on the way. On Wednesday, I got a text around 3pm, his crew arrived and then Charlie arrived and everyone got to work. It was completely amazing how quickly his crew got this large, dead tree down, loaded in their trailer, they cleaned up the mess and were gone in about 50minutes. If you are in need of a tree removed, or maybe pruning of your trees, Charlie & his crew are the ones you want doing the job! I promise they will not let you down in service or politeness. Thank you again Charlie! It was a pleasure meeting you!

Good stuff first: when they do come, they are very efficient and go a great job…read more Bad stuff: we had an incredibly rocky start and end with this company. We used them about 6-7 months. To begin, they didn't show up the first time they were scheduled to and came really late at night to tell us they'll have to come back the next day. When they did come back the next day, while no one was home, they failed to note down that we had undone the lock on our gate that all they had to do was pull it open and it would unlatch. I had mentioned this the night before but Euless did not write it down or remember. When he thought the gate was still locked, he called in an angry attitude that our service was cancelled. Eventually we worked that out and had a decent few months were everything was smooth. Then randomly in March, Euless text me about biweekly service, insinuating that we had been on a biweekly service the whole time. This was incorrect as we had been on a monthly service since the beginning. Eventually we resolved that even though he tried to attempt to make it out as if I was changing our service schedule when he had just been mistaken. Then, in may, he decided not to come without contacting us. When I text about the schedule, he mentioned he cannot do monthly service routines anymore. He did not communicate this until we were past due for service. It seems he wouldn't have said anything if we didn't text him. When they show up = great. But the communication and respect was lacking on our end; I tried to be as kind as possible in these circumstances.
