Within a couple days of getting the quote I had him and his team scheduled to fix our driveway gate. The gate was built a few years ago and unfortunately the people we initially hired did not finish the job and took the gate opener that we had purchased with them. Alberto's team fixed our fence, raised the gate up several inches, added cable to prevent sagging, and added an automatic gate opener. They also repainted all the iron. Will definitely use them for any future fence projects. They were punctual, polite, hard working and cleaned up at the end of the day. Very happy with the result!

Their team removed and replaced 67 feet of fence with nice new redwood in one day, which included time for concrete to set on the new steel posts. Posts nicely concealed with nary a wiggle if you shake it. They needed to keep the same stagger as before so I could reattach the electrical and water for the RV parking. Nice guys, hard workers.

Last time we had this done it took a couple gents about 2-3 hours to do the whole job and they were gone. They scrubbed off some rust, primed small areas, and painted and gone. This time we're excited to recommend this group who took 3-4 days (mind you there were 4 of us getting job done) and the process was the difference. The prep work of removing rust in full, the primer on the entire fence, the precision of welding out small areas that needed small attention, and the precision of welding the larger panels that needed replacing gave us a perfect result. We had panels replaced (4 as I recall) but the rest were okay and ALL look brand new!! The price was fair, the work was excellent... If you need assistance for anything that their crew handles, do not hesitate to call Alex! Doesn't matter where you live, they definitely work all over DFW. I included some pics of the fence...which I know looks like a wrought iron fence, but I tried to explain the difference above.

Affordable Contractors aka Affordable Fence is operated by scammer Chris Murley. I found this…read morecompany through a Yelp search for a small fence construction job. He seem very nice, competent, and responsive. He sent me a link to Home Depot for the materials needed and he gave me a quote for the labor charger. Before starting, he asked for upfront payment for materials and without thinking I sent him $400 for the materials. He never showed up to do the work, giving one excuse after another. Then, he stopped responding to my phone calls and texts. I sent him and invoice for the $400 through the same number on Zelle that I used for the payment, and Zelle said it was no longer an operative number. I WAS SCAMMED FOR $400. I'm posting this to warn people not to use this individual or company and to be very careful about using anyone listed on Yelp. Also, beware of paying with Zelle. Capital One was of absolutely no help in getting my money back. Basically, I was told by the bank that it was my fault and there was nothing they could do.
