Within a couple days of getting the quote I had him and his team scheduled to fix our driveway gate. The gate was built a few years ago and unfortunately the people we initially hired did not finish the job and took the gate opener that we had purchased with them. Alberto's team fixed our fence, raised the gate up several inches, added cable to prevent sagging, and added an automatic gate opener. They also repainted all the iron. He seem very nice, competent, and responsive. He sent me a link to Home Depot for the materials needed and he gave me a quote for the labor charger. Before starting, he asked for upfront payment for materials and without thinking I sent him $400 for the materials. He never showed up to do the work, giving one excuse after another. Then, he stopped responding to my phone calls and texts. I sent him and invoice for the $400 through the same number on Zelle that I used for the payment, and Zelle said it was no longer an operative number. I WAS SCAMMED FOR $400. I'm posting this to warn people not to use this individual or company and to be very careful about using anyone listed on Yelp. Also, beware of paying with Zelle. Capital One was of absolutely no help in getting my money back. Basically, I was told by the bank that it was my fault and there was nothing they could do.
