In over 30 years living in Texas, this was our best experience with a contractor. The ROS team did a great job on our patio project. It transformed our indoor/outdoor living space. You are dealing with the family that is taking care of your project from A to Z. No subcontractors, no employees. The project is personal for them, as it is for you as the client. Their work is excellent. They are skilled, diligent, and go out of their way to make sure the project is exactly what you imagined it to be. I cannot recommend them highly enough. read more

This is the second time we've worked with the team at ROS, and they continue to be the most professional, thoughtful, and efficient contractors we've ever hired. Back in February 2021, they built a cedar pergola and Trex patio at our old house--in just seven days. It was so fun to watch their process that I was honestly disappointed when the project wrapped up! Fast forward to April 2025: we brought them back to build a cedar storage shed attached to our house and install a new concrete pathway in the front yard. Even after I changed the design and scope mid-project, they still delivered everything flawlessly in just five days. Once again, it felt like they had just gotten started, and suddenly, it was done--beautifully. Wyatt, Sterling, and Jakob are true craftsmen and genuinely rare finds. They're earnest, collaborative, and clearly take pride in their work. I recommend them without hesitation and am already brainstorming more projects just so I can hire them again. read more

I contacted via Yelp and provided information on what I am looking for, but they just auto reply and tell me to contact them via their phone number. Eventually I call them and leave a voicemail, but never get a call back until I leave a bad review on Yelp. The owner called me and offered to provide a quote. He stated he never got my voicemail and would like to make it up. Per his request, I removed the bad Yelp review, but when the quote is not exactly the project I want and I ask for something more custom, they never respond again. I even emailed them so it wouldn't get lost in a text. I just went with Texas Backyard Living and they came out in person to quote me the same week. 2 weeks later it was built and I am so happy. Money was not an issue, but I guess ROS's time was more important. read more

Solid company and an amazing group of people that work there. Definitely recommend for your outdoor projects. Initial project phase was handled very professionally with clear concise communications with mockups. They were onsite to break ground on the day promised which these days is often a rarity. Cleaned up after themselves and really respected your property. I am sure they have handled projects much bigger than mine, but the care and concern was evident in the quality of work they performed for my outdoor kitchen shade structure. Fit and finish was amazing! All the guys were super kind throughout the entire build and just a pleasure to work with. Will definitely hit them up again for my next project! read more

Wyatt, Damian and team built a carport for our family. It did take some time to get the project scheduled. But once they started their team was super efficient. They completed the job earlier than expected. The entire ROS team was professional and polite. Watching them weld pieces of steel together was impressive. We're looking forward to working with the Reformed Outdoor Structures team for future projects! read more

Professional, Personal and simply the best I have worked with!! I found them online and asked them and others for some price quotes. The responded immediately, with courtesy and were so simple and comforting. Wyatt was there exactly when he said, he listened (ACTUALLY LISTENED TO ME) and took what I said and made it his plan. When I expressed some concern about my budget, they were so accommodating, letting me know what they could do to help. His family/team came in and did everything with extreme professionalism and efficiency that I couldn't help but smile when i was watching them build the deck knowing to myself that I finally made a good choice when picking a company to help me out. During the build the team WORKED the whole time. I couldn't believe it. I had prior companies, literally sit for a long time during the day...not just at lunch, but many times during the days. These guys were on time every morning and worked all day until the day was done. They kept the location clean and picked up and even worked with another company (who was working on my sprinklers) during their job when they could have easily said 'we will wait". The guys were so polite and helpful and informative, stopping every time to answer any question i had and they did it with a smile and seemed to not be bothered by me at all. The product looks awesome and feels well done. I don't see any reason at all why i won't use them again for ANYTHING that they can do. They are my go to company for ANY outdoor project. read more

The team at Reformed Outdoor did a great job. Their communication and follow through on everything was a 10 out of 10. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a great patio or outdoor structure. Keep doing what you are doing! read more

We hired Reformed Outdoor Structures to build an 8-foot deck side of steps for our hot tub out of Trex, and they did an amazing job. We were really surprised at how quickly the work was done, and the quality of the work is fantastic. It makes our tub look great, and everyone comments on it. Damian and Jacob from their team were punctual and professional, and we couldn't be happier with the work and the cost. read more

Reformed Outdoor Structures LLC completed an outdoor kitchen and pergola remodel for our backyard. Throughout the project, they were educational with their suggestions, responsive to all questions, and highly professional. The entire crew was hard working and respectful. It was also a quick project with no corners cut due to their productivity and efforts. We love our backyard and would highly recommend! read more

Contacted ROS through Yelp and they were very responsive. Very professional and started the project before anticipated and finished earlier than projected. Answered all my questions I had about the process on installing a custom pergola on skyjacks with the bronze poly carbonate. Would highly recommend as they would be my go to for future projects. read more

I sent texts with detailed project info and talked to them. They were supposed to get me a quote in a few days. A week later after multiple phone calls they finally answered and asked me to send them everything again to a different phone number. Again they said it would be a couple of days. It's now been a month and after multiple texts and phone calls I am giving up. No idea how people actually get them to do work. They just wasted my time. read more

I just finished building a new home from the ground up and Reformed Outdoor Structures was by far the best crew that worked on my home. I put my trust in Reformed Outdoor to build a durable metal/cable patio fence with a self-closing gate. The quality of work was excellent! These guys are true craftsmen that take pride in their work. Wyatt and the team showed up as promised and completed the project on time. They also confirmed building code requirements to ensure everything would pass inspection. Wyatt and his team kept me informed throughout the process and confirmed my satisfaction when the job was done. Highly recommend Reformed Outdoor Structures! read more

Reformed Outdoor Structures - Patio Coverings Near Me - Dallas, Texas

I highly recommend Reformed Outdoor Structures. They designed and built an amazing Carport/Cabana (Carbana) for our home in August 2020. I just sit back and stare at how good it looks!  Communication is timely and professional. Wyatt quickly sent over a rendering of exactly what we spoke about over the phone so we could visualize our project.  Craftsmanship is excellent and you can tell by the way Damian, Sterling, Jakob and Wyatt work that they know exactly how to execute to the plan. Even custom adds we asked for were done precisely how we described them.  What sets them apart from other companies we have used is that this is truly a family business. Your working with Wyatt, Damian, Sterling and Jakob. You see what they have done on previous projects and know that is who will be working on your project. Other companies we use have had issues with employees leaving the company and we were stuck with the B team. With Reformed you know exactly who you are getting which is top quality! read more

ROS turned out to be some of the most conscientious contractors I've ever hired. The build requirements were very precise and they didn't disappoint. Damian showed up every work day for two weeks without fail, which is unusual for contractors who always have multiple jobs going. Every aspect of the job was done with patience and care. I would have no problem recommending them and using them again. I wish they did bathrooms! Hahaha read more

We could not be more thrilled with our new cedar patio and pergola!! Reformed Outdoor Structures heard our vision and designed something even better....An extension to our home that is so beautiful. The craftsmanship and quality were top notch. The patio and pergola look like art with how the boards were cut, edges were formed, and other small details that contributed to the design. Wyatt, Sterling, Damien and team are awesome to partner with and created a positive experience from beginning to end. Daily communication, progress updates, answers to all our questions, friendly and kind are just a handful of attributes that contributed to their professional service. We will definitely use them again for additional work and would highly recommend their services. High quality work, business, and team. read more

Hands down the best experience we've had with a home remodeling contractor. Wyatt and his team built a custom cable railing for our unusually-shaped, large deck. We spoke with probably five or six contractors in the DFW area before finding ROS. They were the only ones who could customize and source the materials, plan and design and install everything. Believe it or not, this is hard to find all-in-one! The process was so easy from start to finish and the final product - well, we can't stop looking at our beautiful new, kid-friendly deck. We highly recommend them for any project! read more

I don't know how anybody is getting these folks to do work for them. They've never returned a voice message or email I've sent. I did get someone to answer the phone once and they said they're one of the owners. They asked that I text pictures of what I wanted, measurements, project description, etc. Very time consuming and difficult via text. Never received any response to that or follow up texts. I see many similar reviews as well. Maybe they're just too busy to even respond to the text they asked me to send but if that's the case - be up front and tell me you have so much business that you don't have time for me. read more

Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. They took on a fairly complicated deck project and completed it with aplomb. The attention to detail was superb and they executed the vision we had for the deck perfectly. I will recommend them to anyone without hesitation. read more

Wyatt and Damian went above and beyond on what we could expect for our landscape project. Their communication was excellent, they were efficient and the quality was exceptional. They were both incredibly polite and respectful. We would hire them again! read more

I can't recommend Reformed Outdoor Structures enough! Wyatt and his team helped us visualize and refine our design, making our backyard into something totally awesome! They we're able to start the project a week early and completed it within 3 weeks... I didn't think there was any way they could do such a large project so quickly, but they did! And the best part was that it was the same team every day, who were lead by Damian - also a great communicator and kept us informed everyday of progress and planning! The end result exceeded our expectations in all ways! I would recommend them to anyone trying to get a job done the right way! read more

Competitive pricing and excellent craftsmanship. In an era of overpriced, sloppy construction work these guys are a breath of fresh air. Thanks! read more

I can't say enough positive things about this company. From my first conversation and consultation with Wyatt, through the installation process, and providing final payment, working with Reformed Outdoor Structures was amazing. They kept a constant and open stream of communication and everyone who I interacted with was honest and very personable. During the installation process, Sterling and Damien were awesome! Such professionalism, hard work, and dedication to providing a quality product is clearly a key element of this company. I would recommend this company to anyone who wishes to have an outdoor structure build on their property. read more

Outstanding Company! I have lived more years than I wish to count and can honestly say this is the most professional, diligent, and courteous contractor I have ever worked with. The work quality not only met but far exceeded my expectations. They truly paid attention to every little detail. Pricing was fair, work was done on time, and efficiently. Only company I have worked with that I truly want to recommend to everyone I know. read more

Most professional contractor I have dealt with during my year and a half addition to my home!!! If you are researching fence companies put this one at the top of your list! Family owned, excellent customer communication! They should really have more amazing reviews. I had them build a double sided board on board 200 foot fence between my yard and my neighbors. We are both completely satisfied with the end product!!! My husband so much so he had them come back for additional work. Thank you so much Wyatt and Damian Smith!!! I phoned ROS to request a quote on replacing an old cedar deck that was disintegrating. They asked the size, and I guessed 8x8 (turned out to be 12x14). On learning this, the rep informed me the job was too small to send out someone to estimate, but they would provide an estimate if I sent in photos. Which I did. Ten days later, no estimate or even acknowledgement. It appears ROS feels smaller jobs are beneath their dignity, and deserve not even minimal attention. While I wish them well in their pursuit of only large, high-profit work, this is a poor way to treat potential customers. Another firm (Texas Backyard Living) sent out a rep the same day. He provided an estimate of $8K for the work. Make sure your job is much larger before wasting ROS' time. read more

We had a great experience with Reformed. The team was great and our deck looks amazing. Thank you!

1. Responsive, professional, and reasonable quote. Included CAD. I got a few quotes and they were within range but offered more detail in their quote. 2. Incredible people to work with. Very kind and accommodating. 3. Detailed and professional work. Clearly sought to execute a perfect job. Didn't see any cut corners. 4. Great communication throughout. 5. No complaints and will think of them for my next project. read more

The brothers have worked with me on several properties. I only write reviews for (and re-hire) contractors who: (1) will perform as they say they will; (2) enjoy what they do and work without attitude (I don't do attitude); (3) are fully responsible for their work; (4) have fair pricing; and, (5) I can point in the right direction, turn them loose, and know the work will be done right. Reform hits 5-stars on every measure; the brother's have high standards and high morals. read more

I can't believe these guys don't have more reviews on here, they are absolutely wonderful! I knew as soon as Wyatt contacted me that we wanted to work with him - he was the absolute nicest and most professional guy who had contacted us. Not only was he the best quote we got, he really endured a lot from our indecision and changing the dates he could start. We thought originally that we could build the fence ourselves (insert sardonic laughter here) and just wanted him to install poles and tear down our fence. As soon as Damien arrived and tore the fence down excruciatingly carefully HIMSELF and did such an amazing job, we soon realized we were insane to think we could build the rest ourselves and hired these guys to complete the build. I really appreciated Wyatt's patience while we went back and forth on different options and materials to fit our budget and I feel bad that we gave him such a runaround. But he was the epitome of professionalism and his brother Damien did an AMAZING job practically all on his own with he construction. Seriously such hardworking guys, and they were SO PLEASANT AND PROFESSIONAL. We absolutely love our new fence and the price was excellent. They truly did an amazing job and we'd happily recommend them to anyone. When hope to use them again when we can afford a carport. read more

Reached out on July 20th via phone on an outdoor kitchen. Even sent some pics via text of possible design ideas that same day. Poor customer service to leave people hanging. read more

Wyatt and his brother did a great job with our deck in our small backyard. I live in an urban townhome where access to the backyard is limited. They are very careful hailing material in and out of the house without making a single mark. My deck is about 20'x10' with cedar wood. They did it in two and half days with beautiful craft. The deck is strong and exactly what we imagined. I found them on TREX website as their preferred contractor, but we ended up doing a cedar deck which turned out just as great. I would recommend Wyatt and his brother to anyone. read more

My wife and I have the highest regard for this contractor. It's 10PM the night before our Super Bowl party, and Wyatt and Damian are both still out there making sure that all is ready. These guys show up ready to work every day, are well prepared, and they work straight through until dark. They personally touch every board and every stone. They don't throw 10 laborers at your project and then show up late in the day to supervise. They built a structure in our backyard and we are beyond happy with the final project. The two brothers are good family guys. Do not hesitate to hire these boys. Send me a DM if you would like to see what they built for me. It's outstanding. read more

I needed a deck built in two weeks to sit a custom swing on that I had constructed. Found Reformed Outdoor Structures on a Google search and reached out to them. Response was quick and within a day I had a proposed design and a quotation. Communication throughout the process was stellar and customer expectations were clearly set which was important. The foundation preparation and quality of the construct was very good and I appreciated the follow-up call after the construction was completed. I highly recommend them and would definitely call upon them for future projects. read more
