First off, our waiter, Jonathan couldn't answer a question fully. He had to check everything with the kitchen. When I say everything, I mean if we could substitute a topping on the meat lovers, to hour many wings are in a serving, to what's on the garden salad. A waitress replied "It's on the menu" Clearly it's not. (Pictured below) and it's not all the fixings, because when I asked if it came with croutons, she replied no. Oh, and let's not forget the 18% gratuity that's already added in the bill and there's only three of us at this table If I wasn't soooooo hungry, I'd go to bed hungry. Edited to say: the pizza was very good!

Margherita Pizza

Looked up the reviews for this restaurant. It definitely lived up to the reviews. It was amazing. I ordered the margarita pizza Togo. Truly delicious Italian pizza. Staff were nice and the ambiance is comfortable. Would definitely go again next time I'm in Myrtle Beach.

Chicken Parm

Our favorite restaurant last summer... but absolutely never again. The service was horrible (90 minutes for appetizer), bar let my drink sit melting for 15 minutes, manager said she would remove the $17 app but only took off a side of pasta (which never showed up). The new menu is cheap on quality. I've never seen chicken parm made with anything other than chicken cutlet, they are using the cheapest cut of chicken you can find, which is fatty and the breading falls right off of. Not enough sauce and no flavor. The past with wine garlic sauce is basically noodles with butter, again no flavor. The pizza might be the only edible thing on the menu. Keep driving to the many better options in the area.

Manicotti
Amanda O.

Food was absolutely terrible. I ordered the Manicotti and it had 2 slices of cheese melted on top and tasted and felt like a microwaved chef boyardee version. It was thr worst pasta dish I've ever had. The server was friendly but would not replace or refund me for the terrible food. And they do an automatic 18% gratuity on the bill.

The service was very good and the food was not bad at all. Love the location because it's walking distance from the hotels on the beach.

Normally leave 20 to 25% but this place added 18% tip for a party of two. Almost left 25 on top of total. BEWARE.

If you're looking for pizza this is the place - wood fired grill and fresh ingredients. Also, enjoyed the stuffed mushrooms.

Is there a kids menu or options for an 8 year old?

On Deck with a Large Appetite, tourists and locals alike fill up plates with a boat-to-buffet…read moreexperience. When visiting for a family beach trip, we decided to try this beloved seafood buffet. Along the strip in Myrtle Beach, the roads are lined with a plethora of Seafood Buffets ranging from small family owned to large attraction-like restaurants. Without having tried any of the other options, I would say this has to be the best in town. The atmosphere, staff, variety of food offerings, and taste were unmatched. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a unique buffet experience. The exterior of this restaurant is massive and felt like a large Shopping Center with beautiful landscaping, water features, beautiful windows, and colorful siding. Upon arrival, we were asked at the door our party size. They had two entry lines based on table sizes. Since our party was four, we were sent to the shorter line and did not even have to wait to be seated. As we were walked to our table, we passed massive sailing ships complete with rows of hot and cold foods. The ceiling was reminiscent of the ocean skies. The entire restaurant felt like an experience already. I was amazed by the theming, cleanliness, and attention to details. For adults, the buffet is right around $50/person + drinks and tax. The buffet is all-you-can-eat with mutiple serving lines placed around the vast dining hall. As a picky eater, I was honestly a little worried that the offerings would primarily be seafood options; however, I was happily surprised that the buffet line had a LARGE selection ranging from Chicken Tenders and Fries to Pulled Pork and Macaroni and Cheese. I was actually very excited to find so many of my favorite foods and be able to eat just a little of them all! Some other offerings I added to my plate include hush puppies, corn on the cob, fried fish sticks, rolls, and cheddar biscuits all in one trip. My brother is more adventurous in his selection and was able to try different fish and crab legs with multiple trips. They had almost two whole buffet areas filled with seafood dishes that I didn't even visit. His favorite was just the shrimp! They also have a whole dessert room with a wide range of sweet dishes. To be honest, some of the food was mediocre or tasted similar to standard buffet-food-quality. The macaroni was a little bland. The fries were a little soggy. However, the restaurant was so busy that food was being rotated and changed out quickly on the buffet line. Overall, the entire experience was fun and unique. The restaurant was very expensive for a family of four, especially when you're not eating over the top or making multiple trips; however, the nautical theming, food selections, and service set this buffet apart from many others. You'll find something to eat whether you're picky or love the most adventurous of seafood dishes.

Two Lyft drivers recommended this place while we were here and decided to try it on our last night…read more We previously were at seafood world and that place was yummy. I'd say between the two. This place is maybe cleaner, definitely larger. But the demand for crab legs at this Captain George's, makes the lines long and the wait between refills kind of annoying. It's also colder inside so your crab legs get colder faster when walking back to your seat. Cracking them becomes harder and the shells turn a bit rubbery. Food at both was yummy. You didn't have to write a review to get $10 off for this place, so the price was about dollar and change more than Seafood world. But if you don't end to write a review for seafood world, you'll be paying more there. Overall. It's worth a try but we had a good time at seafood world too. So either or is the option IMO.

I absolutely love this place and is one of my favorite places to stop before I head to Myrtle Beach. It's located in Calabash, NC so it's like 10 minutes before you get to the SC boarder. It might be shorter than that. But anyway, I love coming here obviously the food is fresh and fantastic. They have plenty of outdoor seating and it's always nice and clean. The staff is wonderful. I love that every time I've come, I'm always greeted with a warm welcome and a smile. Everything that I've tried has been great. And they have lots of options. Check out my pics and I'm a creature of habit so I got the same thing but one thing I did try was the Wahoo fish. It was perfect and I'd never had it before. I can see this easily being a fan favorite. And lastly the dessert. I highly recommend getting the fried pound cake and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It's heavenly. Although, not pictured, they have a great pumpkin pie. Follow their Instagram for updates because they do close down I want to say the Thanksgiving day up until Spring so about March or April. It's a good time and you won't be disappointed. Check them out if you are in the area.

Kicked off the meal with some grouper bites. Wasn't sure what to expect from them, but pleasantly surprised. They were lightly battered. The grouper was light and flaky and really delicious. They give you a sauce called "Yum Yum" so dipping them in the sauce was a nice touch. Kicked off the meal with a nice fresh side salad with raspberry vinaigrette. Nicely done. Went with the blackened salmon dinner on rice. The server was terrific and very attentive and the meal came out quick and hot. The blackened salmon wasn't overly blackened. The fish was not fishy tasting. The rice and the steamed veggies were both terrific. Slide a cocktail in your hand and just kick back and relax. This is an excellent place.

Service was good with exception of having to go up to the bar to get by soda refilled. On the food, my wife ordered Clam Chowder and a fried Shrimp and Oyster basket. She said that the tasted mostly potatoes and little clam in the chowder. Her other issue was that the Oysters weren't fried enough for her. My granddaughter ordered Chicken pasta-she said it had a strange taste and didn't like it. I tasted it and there was a strong peppery taste that was off putting. I had Raw oysters which were fine and blackened grouper which was overcooked but okay. Just not as good as I heard and a price of $120 for 2 adults and 1 child.

They had a few different bars that you could order at, with the main one being inside, another little hut outside, and a cash bar next to that. They also had a pretty cool live band, with a viewing patio right in front of the stage. In regards to my visit to Hot Fish, I'd say I was most impressed with the bartenders at the establishment, who did a great job under pressure. Even though the place was packed, and especially the bar area, they did a great job of remaining calm, and even got our drinks out in a relatively quick period of time. They also made some awesome blue Gatorade shots, which were some of the best shots I've ever had! I didn't necessarily love that there were cops standing guard at the entrance, but the bar's own security staff and bouncers were really nice, which isn't something you see at every one of these places. The only downsides to the Hot Fish Club were that many of the plastic chairs in the outside area were broken and cracked, making it kind of hard to sit a large-sized group like ours (they had a lot of wooden tables, but they were all taken), and that the restroom situation was awful. According to the girls in our group, the actual, physical restrooms were disgusting, forcing them to use the giant line of porta potties. This isn't a huge deal for guys, but it was a little uncomfortable for the ladies. Other than that, Hot Fish was great, and I'd highly recommend stopping by!
