We reserved one of the VIP cabanas and it was ideal for a group. We had our own dedicated server who was incredibly attentive all night, and there were 2 TV's inside the cabana so we didn't miss a minute of the MLB Playoffs on September 30th. So much room to move around and actually have conversations with everyone -- not cramped at all. Best part: we got to bring our dog Ellie to celebrate with us. OHSO Gilbert is super dog-friendly and they even brought Ellie water and a homemade dog treat for the patio. We ordered just about every appetizer on the menu -- the Buffalo Chicken Dip, the potstickers, all of it -- and we really liked them. We ordered dinners and dessert as well and were pleased with all of it. And for a retirement party on a budget, it was very inexpensive. We were able to host an our group, have our own space, and still come in under our retirement celebration budget. I enjoyed a side of Belgian waffle ( for a side it was still really big ) and two over medium eggs. Our daughter shared the regular Belgian waffle and eggs with her son. My son and my son-in-law both got the big breakfast with everything you could imagine on them- eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage, biscuits and hashbrowns. The gluten-free hubby had a vegetable omelette. This time, while still tasty, it had apparently filed a formal complaint against the word "crispy" because there was very little evidence to support the claim. Even the bartender agreed with me that it was somewhat misrepresented. Tip: Get the sauce on the side. It will help preserve what level of crisp that is intended for this dish. Now, let us move on to the star of the evening. The new chicken parmigiana! Holy mother of God. Butter my butt and call me a biscuit. This may genuinely be one of the most beautiful, perfectly textured, and downright delicious chicken parmigianas I have ever had. The chicken was crisped to absolute perfection, and the way they layered the marinara on top was brilliant. Rather than drowning the chicken in a traditional, liquidy sauce, they used more of a bruschetta-style topping, which gave it texture while somehow allowing the breading to remain gloriously crispy. Hands down, one of the best chicken parmigianas I have ever had. Now we just need to pray to whatever culinary deity is responsible for consistency that they can replicate this thing every time, because this one was ridiculously good. The beef quality sub par: Lack of flavor and weird mealy grind that has some inedible chunks in it. It seems like bargain food service ground beef. I know ingredients cost is out of control especially for beef, but for $17+ a burger I expect to be able to define the cook I want with some type of local beef, a good blend like chuck + brisket, or wagyu. You can head over to Four Peaks, AZ Wilderness, Ghost Ranch, Bad Jimmy's and many other spots nearby and get a far superior burger in the same price range. In fact, I think almost any sports bar nearby probably makes a better burger. If they sorted out their burger game this place would be a 4.5. Brew's, you can do better.

First things first, it was hot in the restaurant, potentially the A/C was not working as well as it should have been or something, but it was not super comfortable. The service was good, I didn't get her name, a younger woman waited on me and she was very kind and did the best she could. The food came out super slow, I ordered empanadas to start, the waitress said they burned the first order (I appreciated that didn't just serve me overdone empanadas lol) once they finally arrived they were just unfortunately bland, and just kind of lacked authenticity. When she finally brought out my main dish, she even apologized for the wait and said "I had to go yell at them". For a main entree I ordered the French dip with onion rings, another reviewer mentioned they were the best they had had. The meat was kind of tough and dry (which is odd for a French Dip, and everything just lacked flavor. Even the au jus really had no kind of salt or much flavor to it. I really hoped after seeing how everyone else rated this place that I had found that little hole in the wall spot putting out killer food that we all long for, sadly this wasn't it.
