Lockport is beginning to show signs of life again in the business community and I, for one, am grateful. I'd been in a Big Lots (once before) in Joliet and found the prices to be quite reasonable, but the store kind of dingy and picked over. However, the minute I'd walked into the new Lockport location, I could see that this store was much lighter and better laid out as well. It simply "felt good" to shop there. Plenty of merchandise to cruise through and if you're not careful, you just may find yourself filling up your cart with things you didn't plan on buying beforehand but discover you can't afford to pass up! The employees are a delight to deal with, too, and I've never had a sour experience with any of them, even during the busy holiday season. I can actually say that I enjoy coming here and from time to time, find myself wandering in just to see what's new. Right now, holiday decorations are dramatically discounted, so I know I'll be heading back again real soon. You should, too!

They always do that once the customers entered their store, all of them are willing to help and assist their customers, also you can come to them anytime if you have something to ask or if you are looking for something around their store. Their store is always clean and bright, lots of decoration around the place, organized, and well-stocked. They always have great deals, promos, and even sale products. You can buy anything here at Big Lots without breaking your pockets and also save lots of money compared shopping to other stores. They are so affordable and maybe that is the reason why many of their customers are going back again and again. Lots of people really love their place and I am one of those people. I was really amazed with their place and products, I will definitely go back here and shop. Thumbs up Big Lots! I will recommend this store to all of my friends and family. Purchasing American is important to us and it is very difficult to find furniture that is still crafted in America, even the most recognizable name brands in home furnishings have off shored manufacturing. I'm glad we found Penny Mustard and Cathy O. She was not just friendly and professional, she listened closely to what we were looking for and guided us to the right products for multiple rooms in our new home. Hands down the quality of the furnishings is the best on the market and most are crafted, not just in America but right here in the heartland. The best part is the pieces are often custom crafted just for you and to your exact specifications. It is an investment, but the best value for the quality of craftsmanship. The outstanding customer service continued after the sale. I can confidently recommend Penny Mustard as your first stop when furniture shopping.

I log onto their website or log into the app and talk to a stylist about what I'm looking for. My stylist is Clare, she's awesome!Lately I'm finding it hard to get out and shop between work, school and the gym. For my first trunk I asked to be introduced to different workout clothing brands that I could use for indoor cycling workouts. My stylist picked out a trunk I told her what I liked and disliked in the trunk she then took what I liked and surprised me with some random pieces. My trunk arrived in two days. I tried on my clothes and kept several pieces. I had the option of scheduling a ups pickup, dropping off at ups or dropping it off at Nordys. I decided to drop it off at Nordys during work and have lunch at the Marketplace Cafe inside. PRO TIP: send it back via UPS it arrives faster to the Trunk Club. I just logged back into my account and told my stylist i need a cute girls night out outfit for an upcoming bachelorette party I'm going to at the end of the month. Can't wait to see what my stylist sends me!!! During the summer I'd love to make an appointment to check out their storefront. I've heard from a close friend that that in itself is a fun experience. You sip drinks while you're stylist finds you outfits and you get to walk out the same day with your items.

However, in the past year I've dedicated all my shopping energy to my little one and my husband's wardrobe has seriously suffered. A friend of mine worked at Trunk Club for a few months and during that time styled my anti-shopping husband. I was blown away with the Trunk Club experience, but refrained from writing a review since I had a friend who worked there. I'm sad for my husband's wardrobe that she's moved on, but happy to now sing from the rooftops in regards to how awesome Trunk Club is. If you live in Chicago I"d highly recommend stopping in the actual store (rather than meeting w/ your stylist over the phone/skype) because it's one helluva experience. Your stylist brings you your own little area full with comfortable couches, drinks (alcoholic beverages included) and there's even a little changing room. My friend and the sales director, Michael, questioned my husband about his style and what he needed. I pretty much did all the answering, he agreed and our baby made herself at home crawling around Trunk Club. In case you're wondering it turns out this place is very baby friendly. :) Minutes later they brought out the goods: sweaters, jeans, shirts, etc. My husband tried it all on and it was amazing to see how good it all looked on him. He was in a bit of a rush to get to a Northwestern football game (priorities, priorities) so he told me he loved it all, requested 2 pairs of the AG jeans he tried on and then ran out the door to get his football on. Baby and I eliminated a few items for budget reasons, although it was a difficult decision since we loved it all. I ended up purchasing a bunch of sweaters, shirts the 2 pairs of requested jeans. The total came to $1500, which is a lot...but he basically had an entire new wardrobe to get him thru fall and winter. And he's made very good use of this wardrobe since he wears his Trunk Club clothes anytime he leaves the house besides work. My husband even called me on his way to the football game to thank him for taking him shopping. The anti-shopping guy actually thanked me! And my mom was so impressed with his new wardrobe that she treated my brother for some Trunk Club clothes a few weeks later when they were both visiting Chicago. We haven't been back since and sadly his stylist is no longer there, but there will most definitely be a trip back to Trunk Club for a spring/summer wardrobe in the near future. I also heard a little rumor that they are going to soon be doing custom suits (uh-mazing!) so this really will be one stop shopping for us soon. We just need them to carry womens and baby clothing!
