I love shopping here.  Great trendy styles that won't burn a hole in your pocket!  They sell everything from clothes, shoes, accessories, makeup, and perfume. The store is divided into 2 sections of clothes.  The stuff on the left side of the entrance are more formal wear.  Slacks, dresses, skirts, formal and party tops can be found here.  The right side of the store contains casual wear - jeans, t-shirts, active wear, lounge wear, etc. They sell decent collection of clothing, accessories and handbags for affordable and cheap price. You get the quality for the amount you are paying. Store is nicely organized and maintained clean. Didn't notice any Fitting room there.  But you can return items within 14 days just as long as you have all the tags in place and the receipt.  Shoes, however, you can try on. The clearance deal is also cool. For teenagers it is a great place to shop. read more

They use to a favorite of mine as far as location goes, but not anymore! The items were low budget looking this time. Selection wasn't as great as they use to be. They fell off bad!!!! It's bn about a year since I've gone to this location and it's no wonder why. It looks like prices have increased too. They still don't have a dressing room either. Ok, I am addicted to this shop. You can get new clothing for cheaper prices than Goodwill prices at times! I love going here and buying clothes that look expensive, but actually are 10 dollars or less. The clothes up in the front are typically between 12.99-25.00 dollars. The clearance items in the back are around 4-10 bucks! I'll go there and find boots that are ten dollars and be able to wear them all winter. The nice thing about this place, is every time I come back, they have new stuff. It's always an exciting visit. The only bad part is you're not supposed to try on clothes there. They'll have some mirrors but no fitting room. I usually have so many things that I'll just want to try them at home anyways but you could try them on at Marshall's next door if you absolutely need to figure out if the outfit works or not that same day. Most of my closet is discovery items. Ive bought so much jewelry here too! And okay, some things are cheaper than you'll find anywhere else, and sometimes things rip. There's a 21 day return policy so don't lose your receipts just in case something tears. I thought I'd outgrow this place, but I still find appropriate clothes for my age. I wouldn't necessarily buy my work wardrobe here, but for casual and wild nights out, heck ya! read more

For those of you that have never been to a Discovery they do not have any dressing rooms so everything you purchase must be tried on at your home and if it doesn't fit you have 14 days to return it for cash (ALL TAGS MUST REMAIN ON). If you miss the 14 day window they will give you store credit but be careful b/c most of your items will be marked down by that time so you may only end up with a small portion of what you originally paid. Now I've been to a couple other Chicago area Discoveries and this one is by far the most disorganized one. The music is always blaring, there are always screaming children everywhere and the lines take for-ev-er. But if you are looking for a cute, disposable outfit to wear to the club this is the place to go. Most of their items don't surpass $25 but that's because the quality is generally sub-par but just like the other review sometimes you can find a diamond in the rough. I love a good bargain and I love cheap clothes that last. That being said, I also like to purchase items such as those from quality stores. I have been to a number of Discovery Clothing Co stores throughout the area (including Des Plaines and Algonquin) and this one, by far, is the worst. When I say that it is the worst, I am stating that the store is extremely disorganized with items lying all over the place. I am also stating that the music is so loud you can barely think and the employees glare at you while you are attempting to navigate the overflowing racks. Finally, I am stating that the individuals who were shopping at this store while I was there were extremely rude (i.e., shoving people out of the way, yelling at people on their cell phones, etc.). I understand that kids are kids, but seriously, can you please keep your child from throwing clothes all over while running throughout the entire store?? I understand that the clientele is not something that the store employees can manage. However, the presentation of the products and the service that is provided is DEFINITELY something that can be managed- unfortunately, it doesn't seem like it is. There are many of these stores in the area and most of those have the same (if not more) items in a more comfortable environment. Worst customer service ever! This place doesn't have dressing rooms and their employees are so rude if they see you trying on a piece. I explained I'm from California and simply returning something isn't possible so I wanted to try on a dress. After the employee yelled at me and walked away, I was so upset by her rudeness so I decided to simply carry on and try on my garment and ignore her attitude. The cashier was also really stupid and was rolling her eyes when I simply asked why they don't have dressing rooms like normal places would. I use to work at discoveryBERWYN...and all the employees are great n so are da managers and store manager:) and people who say the store was not organized its because all the people who go there are messy we always tried as hard as we could to keep up with the store and the reason this store was more unorganized than the others was because this store has a lot things out on the floor more than other stores all the time and the store gets really packed MORE THAN ANY OTHER DISCOVERY AROUND CHICAGO,,people shouldnt say anything because as much as they complain about this store..the store is always packed and people love it wheater they wanna admit it or not, or else they wouldnt shop there..i would hear people complaining to me about the store policy and da mess and loud music but yet they were the ones i would see there the most!!!!! overall discovey is a great store read more
