My family and I were on the way to cedar point and decided to stop here for dinner! Overall this place isn't bad. The staff was friendly. The ambience/vibe was that of a fast food joint and the pricing was on par with a place like this. I ordered a steak bowl with some sauces on it and thought it was decent! Nothing special but definitely not bad. My family ordered a few more bowls and a burrito and we all concluded the same thing. 3/5. Not bad. Not great. I love hothead burritos and coming in to see all the great ppl that work here. However... the quality has drastically been reduced. They are now charging for rice. Which we did not mind. It wasn't until we got a small side of hothead that gained our attention. It was painfully obvious that the hothead sauce was watered down. i tried going in today at about 7:50 pm today (an hour before close) the open sign was still on and there were no signs saying they we're closed for the 4th. The door was locked and there were 2 employees not doing anything. If you are gonna change your hours, please at least put a sign. read more

Called to see if this store offered the burrito toppings the piqua store was missing as I was willing to drive the 15 minutes for an $8 burrito. Sadly the "manager" didn't care if I was driving nor did she care to assist me when I asked if they had the toppings. She was not willing to make a request over the phone, says store policy and that's ok but... I am willing to drive to buy this food and willing to pay ahead. Had recently came in today as usual and there was obviously a whole new crew because I didn't recognize the new staff. So I got my bowl and that was half way decent but the chicken was cold. But the most disgusting part about it was I got flaming hot Doritos were expired and my lemonade had black flakes in it. read more

VERY RUDE! last night I came in for dinner and I witnessed just how their employees treat their dashers. This dasher came in and instead of hoping in front waited for 10 minutes, hoped out of line to online pick up the employees REFUSED to acknowledge her after standing there for 5 minutes so she went back to end of line waited by this time I'm sitting down to eat my food as the dasher comes back out of line around to register to pick up food, the cashier finally hands her the order Holly was the pick up name After the dasher left the guy at register and the female burrito maker proceed to talk openly about how they just reported this dasher for late pickup in hope tos get her account deactivated! That's ridiculous and definitely not cool, these dashers are just trying to make money like everyone else.I WONT BE COMING BACK TO HOT HEADS, it was definitely uncalled for not to mention the dasher they just got deactivated (employees called it) NOT SURE WHAT KIND OF STAFF YOU HAVE TO WORK WITH BUT DEFINITELY NOT THE KIND OF PEOPLE I WANT TO BE ABOUND AND TRUSTING WITH MY FOOD. I ordered a bowl and the girl taking the order was more interested in talking to her coworker than taking my order, I stood there and was thinking I should just leave when she finally acknowledged me and took my order. I also got an unsweetened tea and I asked for sweetener and she didn't know what that was and I told her sugar and she gave me real sugar packets cause she did not know what sweet and low was. So I paid for a drink I did not or could not drink. Also the girl had on a pair of short shorts which was not proper for a place of business especially when she was on the clock! Looked like the containers of ingredients needed to be filled and instead of standing around talking these girls should of been doing that! My husband and I was there around 4pm. read more

Hothead continues to be the best burrito I've had. A college staple and now a continued haunt long after graduation and having lived in many different states. Nothing beats their hothead sauce, a spiced creamy garlic, recommended for all but the folks who truly can't have any heat. The sweet habanero sauce is great, but sparingly used is recommended or it could become dessert. They have 8 more sauces to mix and match including an extreme habanero that I won't go near... Loyalty cards for frequent flyers tops it off for me. The rice, beans, and meat choices are all on point with their guacamole and sauces are amazing. Always a great lunch to grab while visiting. Allergy note: I can no longer eat raw red onions and a lot of their garnish (salsa, corn salsa, guacamole) has them. It's unfortunate, but I won't dock a star for my issue. Went in yesterday to grab some dinner with my family, IMMEDIATELY walked out because the man behind the counter did not have a mask on and the customer he was talking with did not either. I ordered curbside meals online. The order was late and the food was almost completely cold. Portion sizes were very small. It was definitely not worth the money. I called to let the manager know that timeliness and food quality were both poor. He did offer to remake everything but that would require driving back. He had many excuses from only having 2 workers to the phone not working. Overall this isn't close to the quality and value you get at Chipotle. The ordering on their website also is subpar with ot difficult to add options. Not worth going there again. read more

My first time at any Hot Head, hence the review. I'll caveat this review by saying I'm a Chipotle fan before the E-Coli, so that's what I'm comparing it to. Pretty much the same concept, but everything was just a tad bit worse (taste, cleanliness). Not bad, but nothing stood out. They have a lot of sauces, but I'm not a fan of putting the sauce on the inside of the burrito, as I'd rather use it more like a dip with each bite, so I can't comment on their "homemade" sauces. read more

Having been to similar business model food chains, I was hoping for something different. I was happy with the selection of ingredients but everything was quite bland, even when I added peppers and sauce. Maybe im too accustomed to spicy Tex-mex, but I was bummed it wasn't more flavorful. read more

I go here every Friday I am home for lunch. Awesome food a staff. They are funny and having a good time. Food is great at a good price.
