If you have not tried the Mac n' Cheese, just do it. You will be transported to comfort food heaven. As always, Alpha is the best server. Ask for her station and you're guaranteed to enjoy a delightful experience. We love the HS vibe. Again and again and again... Cheers!

Ambiance: it's spacious inside, good for large group gatherings, overall it feels more like a bar restaurant rather than a brewery Service: pushy and impatient, unfortunately bad recommendations, unfamiliar with their specialities Food & Drink: surprising good food menu, but disappointing draft beer selections HOPSAINT KILLER SHRIMP - **** roasted red peppers and tomato, shallots, habanero, cilantro, cream, spicy and rich in flavors, recommend Side Shell Pasta - **** tasty with killer shrimp sauce, recommend SMOKED BRISKET - **** juicy and tender, recommend French Fries - ** soggy and not fresh This Is How We Do It IPA - *** west coast IPA, average Key Lime Tart - ** overly sour Pure Intention - *** pale ale, watery Chocolate Trip Nitro - **** unique taste, recommend Still Pills - *** light taste Eternal Skies - *** generic, hard to drink Price: small portions and overpriced for their beer quality, not worth $40+ per person

According to my number of Yelp check-ins here, maybe I come her too much. I have a regular Friday happy hour, and I have been a regular since it opened. I credit myself for keeping HopSaint in business during the covid shutdown. The beer is great. The just tapped a Vienna Lager just before the end of Oktoberfest. My wife likes the kolsch and whatever sours they have. They also have ciders and wine. They have really good food too. Dinner can be very busy with a wait expected. It can be loud. The bar is one of the quieter places to sit. They always have off menu specials. Ask, and you may get something you did not plan to eat, but will be delicious.

    Chili is delicious!!

I was here six years ago and just found my review, which stated that I would return, and I finally returned last night! If I didn't live in Maryland I would be here a lot more often. Fantastic selection of beers, delicious food, and service last night by Lala was outstanding! We had flatbread, brussels sprouts, and pasta and all were delicious. I had two IPAs and recommend both of them! Hopefully it won't be six years before I return once again! So Much Citra Hopsaint IPA

Almost every time I visit family in the South Bay, I also stop my HopSaint for a bite and brew. I thought I should update my review There are so many reasons why I really love this place....the top reason is that they have great food and beer. This visit I shared a hanger steak salad and killer shrimp appetizer with my sister. I got the short rib plate (a special this day) to go for my husband. As always, the food was delicious. The hanger steak was cooked to perfection and the dressing was spicy and fresh but not overbearing. The killer shrimp lives up to its name and we always order this dish when we dine in! I have also had so many other dishes that I need to call out. The flatbreads are really good and great for sharing as are the daily bbq specials. Although I didn't drink any beer at this visit I love many of their beers, especially their IPAs. The service is always on point. There is plenty of parking as it is located in a strip shopping center.

HopSaint Famous Burnt End Chili was good. I'd recommended for sharing. So much flavors in it!

Always fun to be here, great atmosphere, servers are super friendly and they help bring the experience up. The food is good and the beer is refreshing with many options to choose from. Thanks Lala and Alpha once again for being such wonderful people!

Stopped in to HopSaint for a late lunch in between busy weekend activities. It has a real BBQ atmosphere with some picnic style tables as well as bench seating. They have a great selection of beers and ciders and not only their own. Very wide selection of comfort food choices. The jidori chicken was a special today, and they also had available their house made smoked brisket so we opted for the BBQ plate to share - which had both as well as the smoked sausage. Fantastic flavors and juicy chicken. BBQ sauce served on the side so you could appreciate the subtle smoky aroma in the meat. Our server was super nice and knowledgeable about the menu and beer selection. Fantastic place.

Maybe we went on a bad day but we did not have a good experience at hopsaint. Our foods were burnt and salty. We got their salad, pork belly burger and jambalaya. The burger was really fatty. No meat to it. The buns were toasted burnt. And the cornbread that came with the jambalaya was burnt. I understand it was kind of a busy night but we had to wave our server down for refills on water and other things. I do not think I will be back

Came in because of a yelp review that stated the owner didn't allow their child to loudly watch a device in the restaurant. That's a huge draw for my mom and I so we came in for a peaceful meal. And I'm so happy we came in! It was delicious! Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful and yummy! I loved the Brussels and the Chili was definitely worth the hype! My mom really liked her fish dish (pictured) not sure of the name. My friends burger was awesome, I'd order that next time. And the service was a 10! Our server was super attentive and gave excellent recommendations. Try HopSaint out! It was truly a treat, can't wait to come back.

Ask the Community - HopSaint Brewing

    Is this place still open?

Yes. I was there Friday after work and Sunday for lunch.

Do they have any sour beers or ciders?

They have sours as part of their regular rotation. Kickstart My Tart is one. They usually have cider in bottles or cans.

    Do they take reservations?

Only for parties of 6 or more.

What non alcoholic beverages are available?

    Fanta in bottles.

If it's outdoor dining, will you have a tent over the table due to rain?

No tent... hasn't rained when we dined there in past

Is the kitchen open all day on Saturday?

    all day every day

Ate you open for the Fourth of July?

    Yes, they are open on the 4th from 12 - 4 p.m.

    Do you allow service dogs?

They don't even let dogs sit outside with you which is essentially a parking lot. Very disappointing. We left and won't be coming back.

What time is their happy hour?

They don't have a happy hour. Every hour spent there is happy 😃 (true) They do have weekly food specials. Certain food offered on certain day. Ie: Taco Tuesday plate !

Is it really "good for kids"? Do they have a kids menu?

They have no specific kids menu, but they have desserts and soda. There are often families with children dining.

I see on the site that there is brunch but for some reason, can't seem to locate the days/times. Does anyone know?…

Brunch is on Sunday starting at 10:00am. Their brunch menu is as amazing as their dinner! Check out and follow their Facebook page for specials and updates too.

Room service is always wonderful and the food comes from Baleen Kitchen. So I can attest to great coffee, fresh pastries and almost all of the breakfast choices. This day we enjoyed brunch outside at Baleen's. It was a beautiful setting with excellent service and very comfortable. We enjoyed the crabcake benedict, Huevos 'Redondos', Chia Pudding, and American Breakfast with bacon. The benedict was absolutely delicious and a special treat, the Huevos 'Redondos' was so very flavorful, and the American Breakfast is always a fan favorite. The breakfast potatoes are some of the best you will find. The portions are perfect, enough to fill your tummy. Enjoy the food, enjoy the scenery, enjoy the service! Sometimes food and service will be second when seeking out a marina type restaurant, but not here. They all three will put a smile on your face. This restaurant is opened for breakfast/brunch and then reopen at 4 for their dinner menu. The views of the ocean and ambiance are what attract people here, but the food is what will bring me back. Parking is validated by the restaurant if you're not staying at the hotel. Food/Drinks: My wife and brother loved the American breakfast. Without holding expectations, they were thoroughly surprised with each aspect of the meal. The new potatoes had a crispy exterior but warm and steamy interior. The arugula salad was sprinkled with lemon and tasted great with the eggs. The lemon pancakes and cali burrito were also a hit. Great tasting American options were brought to life! We also loved their coffee and how well prepared the drinks were served. My latte was delicious and also had great milk latte art. We appreciate those small things. Service/Ambiance: Talk about no better view than the one here. The ocean is beautiful and can be enjoyed here. The servers are great and helped us each step of the way. I don't expect much quality and taste from a hotel breakfast spot, but BALEEN kitchen has set my expectations high. It was a nice surprise and excited to return one day.

Not amazing but a solid starter. The badger flame beet salad was very tasty with pistachio and ruby red grapefruit. Not much greens but delicious. The hamachi crudo tasted fresh but I'm a purist and always prefer the fish flavor over the vinaigrette dressing. The beef tartare was a tad under seasoned imo. The mains blew my mind. Usually the mains are outshined by the starters in a fine dining establishment. Not here! The Indian egg was something I've never had. A soft boiled egg enveloped with an Indian spiced sausage was surrounded by cucumber, sumac, and yogurt. A mandatory order. The smoked and fried chicken (brined a few days prior per our server) was hot, delicious, and complimented with a soy and chile sauce. Great meal in itself. Get it! Hand rolled spaghetti was coiled with a mixture of mushrooms in a brown butter sauce. Super savory. Great starch, goes well with everything. Can't wait to try more dishes during future visits!
