The atmosphere was really loud for us especially the music but my sandwich was absolutely delicious! I got a turkey club with avacodo and it came with tots they had no seasonings. My husband had a burger he enjoyed it.Our server Julie was so sweet it was our first time eating there. We have the app and got free garlic fries that was a big mistake! Found this place, but looking for a restaurant at a later time where most restaurants are closed. This place had pretty decent looking reviews and a menu that was pretty versatile. Upon walking in, it has a dark slightly romantic, looking atmosphere with a bar and a restaurant with plenty of seating and comfortable booths. It's definitely a place you can bring a date to our place. You can meet up with friends and have a good time. It's definitely a place I can see getting really busy on the weekends, but I had come on a weeknight, on the later side. There are many items to choose from including appetizers, melts, burgers, sandwiches, chicken items, including sandwiches, wraps, and strips and other items, including tacos and soups or salads Server was very friendly, and the service was decent. Prices were on the higher side, but what isn't high these days in these areas? I ordered a jalapeño burger with fries. There are plenty of sides you can choose from including fries, tater tots, salad, mac & cheese, and other items. It took a reasonable amount of time for us to get our food. The fries were over salted for me, but ranch sauce helped. The burger itself was pretty good. I am new in town and the online reviews influenced my going here. Just as the reviews, this place has great food. Their garlic fries are a must have side with your meals. A good selection of burgers and their fancy lemonades in their tall glass pitchers quench your thirst. Their seating options vary, but I sat at the bar where I enjoyed my college football. We went here with a younger couple and their small children. The staff were friendly. The restaurant was clean. Well, until the children dropped food onto the floor. They were breaded chicken strips that you can buy at the store. The ones that are normally not breaded. There were very few, and the quality was just meh. but that is not my complaint. My complaint is, after ordering one drink and one appetizer, both from the happy hour menu, it cost me 25 dollars. That is full meal costs. Expensive full meal cost. I am not coming here again. Visited this Hope n Drops location beginning of December 2021. We were Seated right away, server was super pleasant (just wish we had gotten some waters, I should've just asked) I always know my Shrimp tempura is going to be fried perfectly! I feel less guilty when I eat the salad with it haha. My friend got a boozy holiday cocktail as well. (Part of the proceeds went to charity if you ordered one of the selected ones) she also got tacos and I want to say they were shrimp. She enjoyed them and her plate was also clean when we left. Or you can sub onion rings for a small up charge and get 5 whole onion rings. Meanwhile you walk over to the Rock next door and get a huge plate of onion rings for $9. There's a reason the Rock is usually busy. If we can't get a table there we will walk down to Hops and Drops. It's a decent alternative and you can usually get a table. read more

I am supportive of the local Hops n' Drops chains. I used to go to the location in Lacey when I lived down there. In general, they have a fairly inventive menu and the service is generally more thorough and more friendly than you would expect from a typical TGIF, Red Robin, or Applebees-type situation. Never had a burger or sandwich I didn't like here. Highlights include their various grilled cheeses, the garlic fries, and the jalapeño or guacamole burger. The various lemonades, including the peach & strawberry, are very good even if they are five bucks. My only complaint would be that the alcoholic drinks are 13 bucks and it doesn't feel like you're getting much alcohol. (See if you can add Elysian to your menu! ). Also, the restaurant can get a little noisy because it's so popular, but that is what it is. Overall 4.5/5 -- would stuff my face again! read more

We are regulars at the Maple Valley restaurant so when in the area of this location expected the same quality and quantity. After this experience we remembered that a few years back we thought the same thing and found this location to not be run the same. Service is slow and portions small. Also had to ask for parts of our meal that were missing. Strangest thing was what was brought as coleslaw was basically shredded cabbage. No dressing/Mayo. Again, we order this exact meal frequently at the other location so know what it's supposed to come out like. I think we will stick to Maple Valley from now on. read more
