Even after decades of living in other states, most of the food we miss is from the Windy City. Imagine our surprise, when we found out the gracious owners of this food truck are from the Chicago area and their menu is peppered with some of our absolute favorites - Italian beef and a loaded Chi town hot dog! The smash burgers are ridiculously good. If you think Beedos has the beef, think again. The patties here are expertly cooked, with just the right amount of crispy edges, and juicy meat. Probably one of our top 3 burgers of all time. The menu also offers up patty melts, chili, a Reuben, chicken ( wraps, tenders & a quesadillas), sides like crinkle cuts, onion rings, coleslaw and mozzarella sticks. The truck is usually parked on St. Helena, right across from the Seaside Bar & Grill. There is no question, we will be back!

I'm quite surprised it's in a Walmart. The dining room was nice and a Hollywood flick was on the TV. They cooked my burger on the flattop in front of me pushing the bar way high for fast food/fast casual. I told them the first burger was so good I wanted another one and the second was literally better than the first. It looked like a food advertisement even after opening it in the car hours later and that's probably because it was wrapped, twirled and folded in the paper so well. The beef was slightly charred and still a little pink and juicy in the middle. My partner order an impossible burger classic and she says it was cooked well and very fresh. She also mentioned it was assembled with care and appreciated how the ketchup and mustard was spread everywhere and evenly on the bun. Made with care. Fresh lettuce, tomato, and onion.
