They charged us $15+ extra for a basic order to carry out instead of dining in! They then said it was to cover the cost of the boxes and bags. All the food was cold when we got home too. The fries had easily been done 30 min before the other food! read more

The wings I got were so damn sad; it was like they werent even sauced. If I order 20 buffalo wings there should be sauce in the bottom of the container. Their delivery service was all fine but now Im sitting here doctoring up my food with tapatio and slap ya mama. Not really encouraging my return business. read more

I come to this hooters all the time. I enjoy the experience every time I come. Not sure if it's for the food or just because my little sister works here and I get to see her in action lol. I also do enjoy the food and it seems like every time I go there it's always some type of special going on. Yesterday when my fiancé and sisters-in-law went it was half off the appetizers from 10pm-closing. I love to get their quesadilla it's the best, so to have a $5 meal ticket I appreciated it!! Every time I go I never have to wait to be seated and it doesn't really take a lot of time for our food to come as well. I enjoy going to this location for the food and also to bother my little sister as well. If you guys have some time you should go on by to hooters and ask for Mary you would enjoy her great service and friendly conversations. Let her know her big sister referred you lol read more

I don't understand the bad reviews I've been to this Hooters several times food has always been cooked perfectly all the ladies were way cool every time, especially Sara on my last visit she's got a smile that can light up a room she should absolutely be featured in the calendar. One of the negative reviews below was absolutely hilarious. The lady complaining about servers' "lady business hanging out" & about her "distracted" husband.. Ma'am, you've never been to a hooters before? Lol read more

First restroom is disgusting. Food why is it that you say the 3 mile island is spicy and it isnt. Than the food is awful drowning in sauce. The garlic parmesan taste like it's been sitting out all day. But the waitress was nice shes the only good thing that came out if it, I'm not recommending anyone back here. read more

The worst Hooters in N TX. When your food comes out before your beer, Houston we have a problem. If it was possible they would get a -5 review. read more

I ordered some wings to go through Uber eats to my work on my limited lunch break. When I sat down to enjoy my lunch and bit into my 2nd wing I noticed it was undercooked. I opened up a few more and found that about half of them were undercooked. I emailed their customer service that same day It has been about 4 days already and have not gotten a response or apology or anything. I usually love hooters but am completely upset with the service (or lack thereof) of this location and the hooters customer service read more

I hate this hooters with every bone in my body. It's bright as hell in this miserable cafeteria of old white men. When i go to hooters, I want dim yellow lighting. The chefs here must be playing clash of clans while taking a dump, because our food took an hour to get to the table. The wings had about as much sauce on them as a nacho under every other chip. The cooks here are big dumb idiots and the manager is a doo doo ass dummy. The todders however, were sopping. read more

I've popped in a time or two after class. I was 25 years old the first time I tried Hooters and I've been hooked on their hot wings since. (Why didn't anyone tell me this place existed?) I know some would consider such a love blasphemous but I can't help it...my tastebuds like. Food: Fried pickles. Breaded, original hot, extra wet. Runner up flavor is "Daytona." Yum-o. It is always good. Service: they are nice here! Never felt rushed. Go for it. read more

Come here alot, me for the crawfish, when in season, the wife for wings. Have to say I am totally disappointed. Today was the second time in two weeks - out of crawfish and they even took my order and didn't say a thing. 15 minutes later I get "Sorry we are out of crawfish!" Really, then don't take my damn order. Anyway two weeks ago I called ahead to make sure they had them and they said yes. Lo and behold we get there and yes you guessed it - OUT! I'll never set foot here again. Poor Service and customer satisfaction abounds! #boycott read more

We used to love this location and with the renovations we thought it would be awesome. Sadly, the food was not as it used to be. The service took forever as well. We even waited to sit and it wasn't very busy. We were a party of 7 and were seated in the middle of the aisle with no room for our food or drinks. Every time a waitress walked by we were bumped. Finally, they moved is to the bigger TX table so we had room. Our waitress was very sweet but not very fast at all. We had to ask for water, another beer, etc. I doubt we will be coming back. Buffalo Wild Wings won us over! (Only went to hooters this night bc it was over 1 Hr wait, and no wait at hooters. Now we know why. read more

Hooters has totally changed their wing recipe or something. I've tried 3-4 different locations over the last 4-5 months and always the same. Wings are not crispy, sometimes not even covered in sauce, and they have some new oil they sit in on their plate. Just flat out not good. This is coming from a guy who used to frequent Hooters weekly! Even just getting wings and eating like fried chicken without the sauce used to be greatness. Anyway, everyone was polite and professional at this location, so this isn't a slam on them. Bartender Jessica was really great but also swamped. Computer system went down and she still kept her cool. So, I hate to say it, but I think this was the last time. I can go to 100 places for drinks, but want to come here for the wings. Fool me once shame on you, fool me 26 times shame on me! read more

My wife and I decided to give this place a try again after years of not eating here! We had made the right decision years ago based on poor quality management, sub standard food compared to other Hooters! I tried to get a dark beer, I'm sorry we don't have any as our Shiner lines are broken, so for the last few days everyone had the other brand of dark beers. I can offer you a IPA. Well it did not stop there, I ordered 10 Wings-,got 9 flappers and one drum. Told the manager and she brought me 4 drums. My wife ordered a chicken sandwich with peppers and grilled onions no bun! She got a chicken sandwich with lettuce and tomatoes on a bun. The place needs a complete new management team and a desire to deliver the Hooters food and drink like most other Hooters! Very sad that Denton always gets the worst of the worst. Try Pluckers better food, better prices, and the care. read more

I've been to this location a couple of times because 1)my boyfriend and I love wings 2) he loves watching sports 3) we grab a few drinks after my night classes or on weekends. Their wings aren't my favorite, but my boyfriend loves their breaded wings. I know wings aren't healthy to begin with, but I feel more guilty when I eat them haha. Their wings are HUGE! So you don't feel like you are getting jipped. However, they use different type of wings from other places...I guess you can say they have more bones or have more smaller bones? I can't tear it up as easily, and I guess that's a good thing? =P Btw, I have a talent when it comes to eating chicken...I leave no meat behind. Almost everyone who eats chicken with me comments on how I leave nothing behind hahaha. But here, I feel like I have to try too hard to eat everything, and often leave behind more than I usually do. Sorry, A.D.D....back to the topic. Their flavors are alright, nothing special, but it's still tasty. I don't think their "spicy" wings are spicy enough compared to other wing joints. I guess they are playing it safe? If you have a high tolerance for spicy stuff, their hot wing will not be spicy for you. However, It always came out hot and fresh, which is a plus. I rarely went to Hooters before I moved to Denton, because I was just not impressed with any of the locations I've been to. However, I love this location! Even when it's super busy, you get great service and is relatively fast. And it's super clean, compared to most locations I've been to. Oh and of course, they have great drink specials and girls wearing very skimpy clothing...I mean who doesn't like that, right? ;) On Superbowl Sunday, we wanted to order wings last minute since we changed plans last minute around 4:30, aand decided to watch it from my place. I know, not the best idea for a huge national event. We turned to Wingstop initially, and were turned away from WIng Stop very very rudely. They picked up and hung up the phone when we called. My boyfriend has witnessed this in the store when he went to pick up the wings also. When we stopped by, they would not even take our order saying they wouldn't be able to have the wings ready until 3 hours later, and looked at us like we were dumb. Damn, I don't know why some people have to be so rude and mean sometimes. With a broken spirit (at least I was haha), we drove by Hooters with no hope, but surprisingly, they were more than happy and willing to take our order! And the food came out in less than 30 minutes. SUPER DUPER! I was worried that the food wouldn't taste as good that day because they are rushed, but they were still the same. Oh FYI, our obese side came out, and we ordered WAY too much! 30 breaded wings with sides for two....we forgot to get the non-breaded so they were even more filling. We didn't finish them all in one day, but having everything spread out on my table made the obese girl inside of me dance with joy. Thumbs up to them for consistently great service and quality! read more

I've never had the best service at this Hooters, but the food is so good. I never minded when I was seated away from all the TVs and ignored as long as I got my fried pickles and flappers. But the last couple times I've been to this location, the chicken has been different! Service has been better, but the chicken flappers are almost half the size they used to be. So, hey, you can stick me and my friends in that weird overflow room and only refill our drinks twice an hour, just as long as you stop goofing around and make your wings the way you used to. read more

The food, the infamous wings, are acceptable, but the "scenery" makes me want to scream. For the most part the service is good. Aside from the "scenery" my biggest complaint is that I wish their beer selection was better. And, they don't always play all of the available games, for example when the Cowboys are playing, your chances of seeing any of the other games playing is slim to none. read more

Not impressed. I ordered curbside pickup. When I arrived, no one was outside. After waiting a while for someone to come out, I put on my mask and went inside. I told the host I ordered pickup and she told me my order wasn't ready. There were several others waiting for pickup and no way to social distance. Luckily all of the customers waiting were wearing masks. NONE of the staff were. Not the waitresses, not the cooks, not the hosts. I didn't expect to come inside. I have picked up curbside at several other restaurants in the area and all staff wore masks and delivered food to your car.....not here. FYI (despite advertising it). Now for the food.... I ordered the Philly cheese steak. There were no sauteed onions (only under-cooked green peppers and 3 mushrooms). The beef was tragically dry and overcooked. It was as though it sat waiting in a warmer for hours until someone ordered it. Never again. The side salad(that I paid extra for) had mostly yellow lettuce...it didn't look fresh. My daughter liked her smothered chicken sandwich...but the fries were not crispy. I hadn't eaten here in years...now I remember why. read more

The food and service has improved immensely since the remodel. The one BIG issue is the dumb ass smokers that can't read the NO SMOKING signs outside the entry door under the patio roof. So you get a nice big whiff of smoke before you go in. Mammon yum ! Fix this and it's. 4 or 5 stars. WTF??? read more

Hooters - A box - Sports Bars Near Me - Denton, Texas

Terrible service. We waited for 30 minutes before getting any attention at all. They were NOT busy/full. Finally got drinks, but the drink order was wrong.. . Big picture, mediocre food, inattentive servers, (empty glasses + spicy wings = miserable customer) and the management didnt give a flying F. Not the first time for lousy experience. Here's some advice: don't make the same mistake we did. read more

The food was horrible! the wings wasn't cooked and i don't know what type of Cajun seasoning that is but it was disgusting. the waitress was super nice and they offered to cook me another plate of wings. I ordered lemon pepper thinking there is no way they could mess this up. I was wrong. it taste like they put buttermilk in it. Long story short our waitress is the reason i am giving 3 stars instead of 1. You all really need to make sure the people you hire know how to cook. read more

Worst service ever, We arrived at 1100 pm on Thursday and no servers on the floor, the bar tender yelled for us to sit anywhere. After 15 minutes of waiting and only seeing one server who walked past the table and never looked our way or asked us for a drink or food we left. The worst ever. read more

Messed up orders, charged us wrong, rude staff, and tasteless foods. I recommend going to a different hooters.

What a joke of a sports bar. First, service and food is great, but infomercials on two of the four TVs I'm looking at?

Great Customer service at this location. My food came out fast and hot. Beer was ice cold. Nicole was excellent and took good care of me. I will be back soon. read more

I came here not expecting much. I even ate before hand and just planned on getting a small snack and a couple of drinks. The snack that I got was awful. (Loaded tots and a small side of Mac) the tots were soggy with barley any bacon, cheese, or chives and the Mac was so cold and wet. The servers were rude and they mostly ignored our table. One server continuously came up to us and asked us to donate money even after we told her we did not have cash. After we told we didn't have cash she rolled her eyes and said "sweet.." then walked off. There is no reason to spend any money as this place. read more

The food at Hooters is usually garbage but I don't know what it was but today it was extra garbage. The marinara sauce tasted like it was expired, and the mozzarella sticks weren't what they used to be. It took 40 minutes for me to get my app. Only reason I come to hooters is if there's a pay per view showing, other than that, I don't think anyone comes here for the food. read more
