Then he proceeds to give us free drinks on his tab but heavily insisted that we tip. After 2 rounds of these drinks he is giving us we give him a nice tip each time but after the 2 drinks we notice that he has not been putting liquor in them and just been serving them off the books for easy tips. We ordered wings, tater tots, fried pickles, and steamed shrimp. Four of us had drinks (two cocktails and two draft beers), and everything was fine at first. After finishing our second draft beer, our server suddenly cut us off. A manager came over and said we were drinking "too fast," which made no sense -- no limits were explained and no one was intoxicated. After that entire conversation, the server oddly asked if we wanted a third round, which only made the situation more confusing and unprofessional. Our tater tots didn't come out until we were already leaving, and the wings were extremely small -- about the size of tater tots -- very disappointing for the price. We didn't argue because the experience was already ruined. We've been loyal Hooters customers at the Frisco location for over 25 years and have never been treated this way. The Denton location made us feel uncomfortable and stereotyped, and we will not return. This deserves more than a generic response -- real customer service and accountability matter.
