Well I thought I would venture out to find a better hooters than the one on Duluth hwy yet this proved to be a disaster! We were told 20 minutes for a table which isn't a bad amount of time but the problem was that tables were open! After 5 different groups containing 4 or more people decided to leave a family was finally seated and it was made abundantly clear the wait was that they were not cleaned! No more Hooters for me! The experience is terrible. I am disappointed to pay for it. I haven't been in awhile because of bad service and orders being messed up, but decided to go back because the wings are great. That was it though..... they messed my drink order up, brought the wrong flavor of wings, and brought out cold food. It will be a long time, well never that I will spend money there. This has probably been our worst service ever at Hooters. We had to wait 10 minutes to be seated, even though there was no one else that needed to be seated and plenty of tables available. After being seated, we sat there for another 15 minutes with no server to even take our drink order or to let us know they'd be with us shortly. The tables on each side of us were seated after us and had already received their drinks and put in their food order when we decided to give up and leave. We tried several times to get the Manager, hostess, and any servers attention, but were ignored by all. There's no excuse for the level of service we received as the restaurant was only about 70% full. read more

No manager in sight and when we asked another waitress if we had one she went to go find out and never came back, food service would have at least taken drink orders and helped her coworker out. read more

Last Wednesday my friends and I decided to grab wings together since we all had the day off. I was very optimistic about coming to the new location but Hooters did not meet my expectations. We had a group of 8, and when they seated us down they put us in 2 groups of 4 seated at different tables. Ridiculous if you ask me, I came to eat with my friends not to be sat with only half my party. I ordered the wingsday meal and my girlfriend ordered the buffalo sample platter. All of our food came out very late (45 minutes) and when they came out the wings and shrimp were cold... It was a fight night, was gonna sit with Callie, but she said she wouldn't have time for me. So I sat with Taylor who did a good job, granted it was busy and she didn't quite was able to give us her full attention, but her service was good. We finished up, paid and left. Was then had a text storm from Callie complaining and ranting about how our tips weren't adequate and how she wasn't grateful with $10 tips that I've previously left her, but I didn't hear any complaints from Taylor as to our tip we left her. It was 15.5% of the bill. One thing people have to understand is that tips aren't automatic when you go to sit down restaurants, tipping is a sign of generosity and what the customer thought of the service they were given. Now I tip generously and pretty accordingly to the bill. To have her who I didn't even sit with tonight, blow my phone up with bs drama like that, is absurd. So if you visit Hooters Mall of Ga, and you want great service, sit at the bar or with anyone, but Callie. She won't be grateful for your tip. I've said it before, and I'll say it again: these review sites should provide an option for zero stars. Even one star is a compliment, and this place deserves neither. My wife and I, along with another couple, came to this Hooters location on New Year's Eve. We were promptly seated and told a server would be right with us. After about 10 minutes of patient waiting, I asked a passing server if she knew who was working our section. She said she would find the person. Several more minutes passed. I asked a second passing server the same question, and she had the same response. My wife eventually became frustrated and went to find a manager. He came, apologized, and found a server to take our drink order. She also took our order for appetizers: an order of fried pickles, and an order of nachos. After 15 minutes, the fried pickles arrived, but no nachos. About 20 minutes more, no nachos and no server to take our order for the meal. We spoke to the manager again, and he promised to see what was going on. After a few minutes he returned and asked if the nachos were there yet. After being told that they were not, he goes to the kitchen. When he returns, he tells us that there wasn't even any chili for the nachos! A bit of information that could have been shared with us 40 minutes earlier. The food was eventually ordered, and brought out. The manager did comp the meal. When we left, as a gesture of good will, my wife left a tip. Before we walked out the door, my wife mentioned to our server (standing near the door with two other servers) that despite the experience, she left a tip for her. Some awkward smiles were exchanged, and we walked out. What the young lady didn't realize was that one member of our party had gone to the restroom a few minutes earlier and was walking out the door about 30 seconds behind us. We were told that the server was mocking my wife after we left. Needless to say, we will not be returning to this restaurant. read more

I ordered the wings and they were tiny. Asked for them extra wet and they came dry with very little flavor. I asked for some extra sauce on the side to solve that issue and they brought me some sort of pasty sauce. I asked if it could be melted (so I could actually put it on the wings) and they brought it back half melted---paste surrounded by a little liquid. Oh, and there was a long wait and the buzzers weren't working. The hostesses didn't seem to care, they were talking about who could go home and who had to stay. This place sucks. This Hooters needs to get its act together. The wait time for our food was long, and even though this location is new, the cleanliness of our booth was unacceptable. My best friend and I decided to dine in at Hooters tonight. We arrived around 10:30pm. Upon arrival, we waited about 10 minutes before being greeted at the host stand. Waiting to be sat was no issue for me as I have been in the restaurant industry before. I am completely understanding that sometimes people get tied up. Addison greeted us and put us in her section, which was fine because she was very sweet to begin with. She introduced herself and took our order. I ordered the sliders, I specifically said all burgers. Not only did my food come out cold, it was also WRONG. There were two burgers, and two chicken sliders. She apologized and said "Oh no! They gave you chicken!". At this point I'm too hungry to wait for her to bring a remade plate, so I smiled and told her it was fine. Still, I had no problem with the error because I have been a server before. My problem came about when she brought our checks and she didn't adjust mine to half off appetizers. Take note that she dropped our checks off at 11:30pm. So when I informed her of HER error, she asked me what time it was. I told her it was 11:30. She told me she would let her manager know. She came back to our table and said, "For future reference, when you order next time be sure to specify that you want the half off appetizer." She also told me that she couldn't remember what time I came into the restaurant which is funny because she easily could have looked at what time my original receipt printed. (10:40pm give or take?) First of all, I don't work at fucking Hooters, why should I tell you how to do your job? I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt because maybe she wasn't trained properly. I shouldn't have to tell you its after 10, and my food should have been checked before it was brought to me. She blamed the kitchen for the wrong order, then blamed me for her not ringing in my order half off. Lol. It was ridiculous. I'll never step foot in that establishment again. My husband and I went to Hooters Mall of GA for lunch last week and tried the new smoked wings for free, thanks to Hooters! The restaurant is newly built and very clean. Our server was very nice and attentive. I think the uniforms are tacky, but it doesn't detract from the experience too much. Now for the wings, the smoked wings are awesome! I'm not a huge wing fan to begin with, but I loved these. I ordered the Texas BBQ rub on mine, and my hubby got the jerk rub with a side of cajun sauce. They were all very tasty. Come hungry. Leave hungry. I recently visited this Hooters for a build your own burger cooked medium with lettuce, tomato, mustard, and extra onion. The burger came back well done and the server said the cooks never listen to them. The burger was sent back to me medium, but COVERED in mayo, without extra onion or mustard. I know the world will still continue to spin and Megan will and should continue to be an excellent server, but the manager on duty (Paul) should definitely have a conversation with the cooks regarding the relationship between customer satisfaction and the return customer. There is nothing "hot" about this place. Sat at the bar, for 15 minutes just for our bartender to acknowledge me and the other girl I was with. She was very rude and seemed to be hating her job. Bar was a wreck so she chose to clean that up first before bothering to take our order. She served a guy that sat down after us his beer first. I am a bartender I know how it works. Very Disappointed. My husband was turning 40 and thought a fun place to go to have a drink and some food with some friends to celebrate would be Hooters. I've been to other hooters before and they have a such a fun birthday dance and usually great service and fun atmosphere. NOT THIS LOCATION. We ended up having 18 people in our party. Before you get all that's why the service sucks let me tell you I called ahead and let them know so if they needed to call in another waitress or whatever. My friends arrived before I did because it was a surprise for my husband. They asked for the high-top bar side. We all like to drink a little. :) But the ended up sitting us right by the door. In the middle of the main walk way. After we got there we ordered a beer and it took over 10 minutes and I had to ask again. Before my husband and I got our beers they already were forcing food orders on one end of the table. Literally we just sat down. But whatever not trying to make a scene. They took everyone's orders and then we didn't see anyone for over 20 minutes. One of my friends had to beg for a glass of water like 3 times before they brought it. I finally just ordered a pitcher. The end of the table that the waitress started with food started coming out. 7 of my friends had their food and 11 didn't. They were DONE eating by the time the 2nd wave of food came out. and my mother in law, who ordered a salad was the LAST to get her food, again after pointing out that she didn't get her food. The waitresses never asked me if I wanted ANYTHING I had to ask for everything. They were so very inexperienced, both of them. I spoke to the manager (David) and explained to him that we hadn't seen either of them in quite some time and he said we put two on our table. He never came over and asked how we we were doing and was in fact rude to one of my guests. Another of my friends ordered a drink and the waitress didn't know how to order that so she had to go to the bar to order it. The bartender was helpful and actually came out to our table to ask my one friend if she needed another drink. The bartender came out and asked her more times than I was ever asked my waitress. Cons: Didn't get drinks before food order was taken. Didn't get to eat at the same time. Had to repeatedly ask for things Table seating was horrible - they need to put some shades up the sun was intense and bright. What happened to the fun birthday dance they used to do? the manager completely unhelpful Pros: Our good friend paid our tab. The bartender Another waitress whose section we were supposed to sit in. She led the song A few of my friends ordered the smokehouse boneless and said they were really good. Fried pickles were pretty tasty but she didn't bring the sauce, I had to ask for it. I will not go back to this location. There are way too many better places to eat at the Mall of Georgia to endure that again. 1/20/19. Came in for a birthday/football get together. Waited over an hour for a table when there were many tables available. The hostess took us back to a table and I said we have a party of 7, this is a table for 6, she asked us to go back to the front, in which I said with sarcasm that I was excited to go back to the bench where was no food, no beer. She thought it was very funny. When I asked a manager for assistance, he didn't take action instead let his hostess make decisions. Finally we got a table and the hostess said from afar and said there's your table. This would have been a one star review, what makes it a 2 star review is once we got the table, we were able to order and get our food relatively quick. No manager came by even though we were unhappy, shot glasses were oily, and the AC was blowing on a 35 degree night. Food was out quick and food was good! It was a busy football night but our server Kaylee took great care of us with a great attitude.

We went there for lunch today and it was great. Maybe they have read some of the other negative reviews. Girls were working together. We sat at the bar and Trish and Katrina gave us great service and attention. New place is not as cold as the Gwinnett Place location. Still a new design, Huge bar and 40 beers on draft. I'm surprised by the super low ratings. This place is the new model for hooters with a nice open space and sleek decor. The food is the usual hooters fare. Nothing special. I ordered wings and the philly cheesesteak with chicken. The wait staff and management were pleasant. Im assuming the bad reviews were because this place was just opening and getting on its feet. We've never eaten at this location in the past since it always looked crazy busy right next to the mall but we had a chance to try the new smoked wings for free from Bzz and decided to go. The location is new and service was good, not the best we've ever had, but they tried. It helped that we went early in the day and only had a party of 4. The new smoked wings are the reason for the 4 start review, SO good, go try them, you won't regret it. I think Hooters is trying, slowly but successfully, to reinvent themselves and this retake on classic wings is certainly a step in the correct direction in our opinion. #HootersBzzReview #GotItFree. read more

Never will enter this place again. No one asked if I wanted another beverage and the wings that came out were so hard and dry that I could barely bite into. I order ten and ate two. No attentive staff which acted like they had much attitude at the bar and didnt want to be bothered with me, while they were so attentive to the drunk patrons and filling their glasses. The patrons were beating on the bar while they watch the Thursday night Falcons game. I've never been treated like this in any establishment, thus will never spend another penny in Hooters at the Mall of Georgia. Its even sadder that I left a tip for the bias treatment, but was just disgusted at the entire experience.
