30th anniversary dinner and we were NOT disappointed! The service was impeccable and the food was par excellence! Amazing restaurant with a a level not found in Cumming. I had read many reviews and thought that it sounded wonderful. It was! Great place for special occasions. Let them know what the occasion is when you make Your reservation.

You wouldn't expect a place this polished to be tucked into a strip mall alongside a chiropractor and hair salon, but Meadow Woodfire Grill delivers the upscale steakhouse vibe the moment you walk in. A mix of cozy booths, large tables, walls of wine, and clean decor makes this a great spot for a romantic night out. We haven't sat outside yet, but they've got a sizable patio that looks promising. I haven't had a disappointing meal yet. Starting with the steaks: the ribeye and filet were amazing (and don't worry about taking some home because they reheat very well). They also look very lonely on the plate, so don't skip the sides. The grilled asparagus is a real winner. In all the best ways possible, the burning wood scent emanating from every bite reminded me of times I went camping and cooked over a fire pit grill. They also nailed it with the new pork belly appetizer. It was so flavorful and delicious that I ended up devouring the garnishes with it! If you want some surf instead of turf, the fish options are fabulous as well. I always steal a bite or two from my wife's plate (for Yelp Research purposes, of course). Service is a strong point here too. Kevin, our waiter, was genuinely friendly and funny. He clearly knows the menu inside and out and seems to be making a name for himself on all the reviews. It's well deserved. Honestly, the only downside to this place is that the high prices (notably on their steaks) keep us from visiting more often, so this has been reserved for special nights out.

Gray is an amazing bartender. He is knowledgeable when it comes to drinks. We usually sit at the bar when we come in. The beef carpaccio is delicious. We have also had the cola short ribs special which were tender, falling off the bone and flavorful. This place is a hidden gem in Cumming. If you don't try it, you are absolutely missing out! No other restaurant in Cumming is up to Meadow's standards!

Definitely a hidden gem! Service was top notch, everything we needed was anticipated. The flavor combinations on the beef carpaccio are insane. The meat and flavor from the wood fire grill was delicious.

Ask the Community - Meadow Woodfire Grill

    How pricey is it?

The cheapest steak is $54 and most expensive shown on the menu is $136. I think each oyster was $7 or $8 but I can't recall since the pricing is MKT price.

Everything feels thoughtful and high quality, not rushed or mass-produced. On top of that, their customer service is phenomenal -- friendly, welcoming, and genuinely happy to help you decide or make recommendations. Their seasonal drinks are always on point, especially the Valentine's raspberry truffle latte, which was chef's kiss. Cozy atmosphere, delicious food, and the kind of place you want to keep coming back to. Highly recommend!

The system in…read morethe cafe is weird everyone is scrunched up I didn't feel comfortable talking because we were so close to the other table. Ambiance is way too crapped if you're claustrophobic you're probably not going to be able to stay here. System is whack because the drinks aren't on the menu you have to GET UP and go up and figure out what drink you want. Then they can only make it one way you can't asked for something cold/hot. Not to mention the floors were nasty, tables not wiped, and in general I hated the experience. The food looked like something you heat up in the microwave. Specially the croissant because it looks like jimmy deans croissants from Walmarts freezer section. Then to top it all off there was a 12-14 INCH HAIR PIECE In our food. I was disgusted. The chai latte tasted like straight up cold milk with some cinnamon on top. I've had tons of chai in my life but by far that one was the worst. I wouldn't come back and I pray that they get everything back in order. I see the business owner replied to my review. I will like to say as a customer if I share a review then I truly believe that things should be fixed, not excuses or "seen footage". If I had Gotten all the way up and went to the counter and said "I just found a 12-14 hair piece in my food" things still would not have changed due to us already being done with our experience and wanting to leave . Now with the cleaning situation there was tons of food under the tables and the tables weren't wiped. No one came to clean at all so the comments on the cleaning was way off for me, everyone was working BEHIND The counter. I also believe with the drinks I am not talking just about the Tiramisu Latte. I originally was not planning on getting the Tiramisu but when I asked for something else hot they said only iced. And no it is not a personal preference of a Chai latte a Chai latte should not taste like cold milk with cinnamon dust. Thank you for taking time to reply to my review. We also did NOT finish our food and the "seen footage" accusations is a bit harsh. As a Yelp Elite member it is important to be 100% REAL with my reviews. I take passion and respect for every business out there but I genuinely am concerned, especially with how defensive the owner is to my review. The rude server at the front also made us not feel comfortable coming up and doing something. Now seeing how the owner is acting I am even more worried.. A chai is suppose to be BROWN not PURE WHITE. If you truly looked at the footage you would've seen me pull that long hair piece out.

We started with the hummus and pita, which was a great surprise. I'm not usually a big hummus fan, but theirs has a really smooth, clean flavor. The pita was warm and soft, and the mix of black olives with olive oil on the side added a really nice touch. My wife ordered the lentil soup, and after trying a spoonful, I immediately regretted not ordering my own. It is easily one of the best lentil soups I've had -- full of flavor, rich, comforting, and seasoned perfectly. Definitely top-two in my book. For the entrée, I chose the large mixed grill platter (around $50), which comes with steak, chicken, lamb, and another kebab. It also includes two generous portions of rice, grilled vegetables, and tzatziki. The amount of food is impressive and absolutely enough for two people to share. The meats were tender, well-seasoned, and cooked just right. For dessert, my wife went with the chocolate mousse while I tried the pistachio cake. Both were excellent -- the mousse was rich and smooth, and the pistachio cake had great texture and flavor. One of the highlights for me was actually the mango lemonade. The first sip really stood out -- refreshing, balanced, and surprisingly good. The restaurant itself is very clean with a nice setup and comfortable seating. The owners and staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. You can tell they are proud of what they serve. Parking is easy since it's part of a larger shopping center with plenty of spaces. There is still a lot on the menu I want to try next time -- especially the gyros. I'm very happy Cumming has a Mediterranean spot this solid. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys great food and great service.

We sat upstairs with a group of ladies playing mah jong which was cool to see. The host Gabby was nice, after greeting us we were seated in a booth and began looking at the menu. Our server was Taylor, who was friendly, helpful, and really good at her job. Never needed anything bc she was great! I started with one of their blackberry ciders, my brother got a sour. For an app we ordered a giant pretzel and it was delicious. Whole grain mustard and gooey cheese were served on the side. Hard not to want to eat more than one. For entrees I went with a Reuben with a side of tater tots. The Reuben was tasty, they shred the corned beef up so it's easier to eat, and you get consistent bites every time. Their 1000 island dressing is KILLER. It's definitely homemade and I ordered a side for my tots. Nephew got the salmon BLT with sweet potato fries, and my brother got the Philly cheesesteak with tots as well. Once he tried my suggestion of dipping in the dressing, he got a side as well. The GM Andrew came by and checked on us. Service level is great here, made us feel welcome and happy we were in here. Since I'm technically on the clock I had to head out after two ciders. I could see myself being here for hours, if I'm not careful. Support small owned businesses! Thanks to the team and especially Taylor for a great lunch today/

The old-fashioned had regular ice not the large square or ball ice like most old-fashioned. We did send the fish & chips back because the fish wasn't crispy. It was soggy & fishy. We did enjoy the house chips and atmosphere. We would give them another try.
