City pasta. Chicken, mushrooms, sun dried tomatoes and rigatoni in a vodka cream sauce topped with feta.

What a beautifully intimate venue with the restaurant downstairs and the theatre upstairs with shows upstairs! All the staff was very friendly and engaged!! We started with appetizers of two of the dips offered. They were both rich and creamy. Our entrees were also delicious. All food was well prepared and good portion size. We were so full we opted out of dessert but in looking at ones at nearby tables, I'm sorry we missed them. We did opt for the chocolate martinis to end our meals. Most definitely a place where there are lots of regulars and worthy of repeat visits!!

Whimsical art across from the bar.

Healthy fresh food that is always reliable. Great ambiance! Service is acceptable not perfect but the food and drinks make up for it.

What an excellent little spot tucked out of the way. Was invited by a vendor when she chose our spot for lunch. We both had salads & sweet tea. Grilled chicken on one & salmon on the other. Classy spot with excellent service, menu, wine list & bar. Want to go back for dinner sometime & definitely will make it a lunch spot when in Cumming. Excellent menu with something for everyone. Definitely try this spot of you haven't. Would be a good spot for the family, small groups & od imagine great for a couple to slide into a cozy corner on date night.

Was in GA visiting family & on my last night there we decided to do dinner at Tams. The scenery was unique due to the theatre decor. I ordered a lemon drop and it was perfect. Perfect balance of everything. The food was immaculate. Amazing! Brians chicken has my heart. When I came back to FL, thats all I was thinking and dreaming about. I obviously tried to attempt making my own Brians chicken but it wasnt the same. Great food and great service! Will totally come back when Im back in GA.

Fillet mignon, garlic mashed, chicken tortilla soup and tallant for dessert. This meal made our 32nd anniversary dinner one to remember!

The food was delicious! My fillet mignon was as better than any I have had in GA. The garlic mashed potatoes were super tasty, and the dessert was to die for. Our server Joshua and the whole staff didn't miss a beat. Terrific experience! I recommend you visit them soon.

We came here as a group of 5. We all had the Stuffed Flounder + Steamed Vegetables. The flavor was amazing. As a Cajun from Louisiana, I had some reservations on the flavor, but I was wrong. The fish was beautifully deboned and the vegetables had decent seasoning. We finished with the Crème Brûlée which was detrimental to our calorie restraint. The entire dining experience was great! We came on a Monday night, so there wasn't a wait. The service we received from Amber was great, too! I definitely recommend this location for a wonderful Monday night excursion in this area!

Our first time here, we frequented the other Tams Tupelo (now closed) for quite some time. It must be prom night here as there are many youngsters all decked out for the evening. Short version: seated quickly with reservation, place was nearly full. Waitress came quickly and took our drink order. our apppetizer, calamari, entree roasted duck ravioli and carbonara pasta, added the three sausage creole gumbo side. The gumbo was very tasty, a light colored roux but great spice and flavors with some heat, very good. Both our entrees yielded leftovers as well and were very tasty, everything was very flavorful and spiced just right for our taste. Bread. Fresh out of the oven tasted yeast. Dessert key lime pie. Service and food were fantastic. We were done in 90 minutes. Priced very reasonable. Long version: we arrived at 6:25 for our 6:30 reservation and were seated immediately. Only 2 tables open downstairs. Our waitress Kim came over to offer us drinks. She was back quickly and ready to take our appetizer order, and we ordered calamari. Prior to bringing out our appetizer, she took our entree order. We ordered the roasted duck ravioli, and I ordered the carbonara pasta, and we both added the three sausage creole gumbo side. When our appetizer arrived, it was very hot and a lot of food, enough for another meal. The breading was perfectly thin and crispy, cooked perfectly with a marinara dipping sauce that complimented the flavors, a very tasty appetizer. We did have to ask for bread, and the taste was heavy on the yeast. It was still good. Our entrees came and wow, very tasty. We finished up with a slice of key lime pie that had very good sweet and tart flavor, a perfect way to end the meal. A very nice evening service and food were great. A few items are worth mentioning: Between the booths is a 3" wood place where a waiter at the table next to us kept slaming empty glasses down instead of holding onto them, very distracting and annoying since it was right at my shoulder. The AC has one main duct, and it blows cold and far, but when it goes off, the temperature is comfortable. The guy next to us put on and took off his jacket no less than 5 times during our meal. So if you are prone to getting cold, come prepared. A small thing but important to me, my water was empty for quite a while before someone noticed. The last thing was, we had to ask for bread. Other tables got a basket with butter, where we got two rolls on a plate. I'm not sure what that is about. We will be back as those are all small things but annoying at the same time.

A subpar restaurant that delivers equally awful food & service. Tam I believe is an acronym for Terrible, Awful, & Mediocre.

Unique, delicious, and absolutely worth it if you love bubbles. Service was excellent and genuinely friendly. Honestly, this is a great spot any time of year. It has been my experience that few bottles that go under $40 are worth my time. I was wrong. Amy, owner of TOTT, shared with me 4 wines that ran $15-$20 that I actually truly enjoyed. Her selections are impressive, small batch bottles, 5,000 in existence or less from around the world. She also has a strong meat and cheese selection and an adorable dog to boot. I will be back!

I didn't know what it was, until some friends of mine booked a wine tasting for us. What? I love wine tastings, and thought I had to drive to Dahlonegha for that. No idea there was a place so close by to do wine like this. We walked in and were walked back to a quaint room with a long table and chairs around it. A reservation had been made for the wine tasting, so the four of us were seated with some other people that had made the reservation as well. Amy, the owner, came in and introduced herself. She was so knowledgable about wines, and really was informative. I have to say I've been to several wine tastings before, but I learned a lot here from Amy. She told us about herself, and what her store is all about. She stated she has about 300 wines in her shop, and she has tasted every single one. She stated that she got a lot of her wines from small producers, and that most of her wines were under $20. She said she liked to have a unique variety of wines that would be good to grab for a dinner at home, or for a gift. She also had several imported and domestic cheeses. We had the opportunity to try a few different cheeses, and by far my favorite was the brie/gouda mix Belletoile. It was so good and creamy. The crackers that were served with the cheeses were so good as well. We had a peppercorn and a plain cracker. Both were really good, and I loved the small sizes of the crackers to go with the cheese. They were made from a small company in Chamblee called Georgia Sourdough. You can buy their crackers at this store, so you don't have to drive to Chamblee. So the wine tastings are Monday-Saturday. Drop-in tastings are Monday through Wednesday for $10, which includes four wines and one cheese with cracker. Thursday through Saturday, Amy does a six wine tasting paired with 3 different cheeses and crackers for $18 per person. The latter requires a reservation. Each tasting has a theme, so for instance, the one we did was USA Wines. And I tried my first Riesling I actually didn't mind. It wasn't sweet. She mentioned that before I tried it, and she was right. You also get to keep the BPA plastic stemless glass you use to do the tastings. She chose these BPA glasses, because there is no odor like with most plastics and doesn't have that plastic taste, either. The glasses are very sensitive to heat, though, so don't put them in your dishwasher or they will melt. She serves the wines from lightest to heaviest, and she told us if you rinse the glass each time with water between tastings you will change the way the next wine should taste. She said going from lightest to heaviest will nix the need to actually rinse the glass. If you like any of the wines or cheeses you try the day of the tasting, you can get any of them for 10% off. And she won't tell you the prices of the wines until after the tasting, which was a good idea. She didn't want us having preconceived ideas on the taste based on knowledge of the price. Unfortunately, I picked the most expensive wine as my favorite. I wouldn't pay $27 for a wine for any regular evening, but it's a good choice for the weekend or entertaining. I'd love to come back here, sooner than later. I am so excited my friends discovered this place, and will definitely be back. If you live in the area, check it out.

But the second we walked into Eclipse, he immediately pivoted and admitted this place looked better inside and out. Victory tastes sweet... almost as sweet as the caramel drizzle on the tres leches cake. Let's talk about the atmosphere. There's a literal indoor tree growing out of the middle of the restaurant like we're dining in an enchanted Spanish forest. Add in the giant crystal chandelier dripping drama from the ceiling and you've got a space that says, "Yes, we're upscale... but we also know how to party." The live guitarist sealed the deal. Nothing says romantic tapas night like a man casually shredding a red guitar five feet from your table. Now the food. It came out fast. Suspiciously fast. "Did they know we were coming?" fast. And every single plate slapped. The crispy potatoes were seasoned like they had something to prove. The empanada was golden and flaky with that creamy dipping sauce that makes you consider licking the container when no one's looking. The short ribs were so tender they looked like they'd been emotionally supported before being served. Even the fried croquettes and goat cheese with carmelized onions and honey felt like they had main-character energy. And that cake. That glorious, whipped-topped, caramel-drizzled masterpiece. I would write it a thank-you note. The staff? Impeccable. Attentive without hovering. Friendly without forcing it. The kind of service that makes you feel like you're a regular even if it's your first time. The only downside: it was the first warm day in a while, and the sun decided our table was the chosen one. Half of our bodies were enjoying ambient romance lighting. The other half was being interrogated by a solar laser beam. My pasty white legs were one direct ray away from combusting like Louis in Interview with a Vampire. I considered rotating every five minutes like a rotisserie chicken. Minor sun-induced trauma aside, this place is a solid five stars. Gorgeous interior. Live music. Fast, phenomenal food. Amazing staff. And the satisfaction of proving Buckhead is not the only place that can deliver a whole vibe. Pro tip: request a table out of the direct path of the sun unless you're actively trying to pregame summer.
