When you show up at Hooters bring a party with you! My friends and I celebrated St. Patrick's Day at the restaurant and had a grand time! No one cared that we had props, a photo session and lots of laughs! On this visit we actually had a good waitress! I tried the fried pickles, which were a large portion and quite excellent when it comes to fried pickles! Best thing on the menu is the pretzel bites. See my previous review regarding the TV audio during sports events. Tonight this location has lost a regular customer (two or three time per week) because I was lied to. They were changing the channel on the TV's to put the Braves game on as I was working on my first beer. I asked if they were going to turn on the TV audio prior to ordering a second beer and some wings. I was told that they wouldn't turn on the audio so I ordered a second beer and the wings. As soon as the wings showed up the TV audio came on. I left four of the six wings and a full beer sitting on the bar, paid my tab and will NOT return. We came for dinner to get wings and watch the braves. The ambiance is sport's bar themed with a full bar and scantly clad waitresses part of their business model since their inception in Clearwater Fla in 1983 by Lynn Stewart & co. The wings were very good and the steamed shrimp incredible!! Our waitress was nice and on the spot for our dinner. I would not consider it a family establishment though as some waitresses flaunted themselves to the extreme. However, there is always take out. :) read more

On another fun day of quarantine the fam and I were craving some wings and so I decided to pick some up from Hooters. This location at the Mall of Georgia is conveniently close to us, but it was my first time here. We ordered a 15 piece Hooters Original Style Wings ($19.99), and a 12 piece Parm Garlic Buffalo Shrimp ($12.99). Nor the wings or the shrimp came with any side so I had to order some celery sticks for $1.59 extra. The wings were okay, very dry in my opinion and I've definitely had better. The Shrimp was amazing! Deep fried to perfection, and very juicy. Service was okay, I was only picking up my TO-GO order so didn't spend much time inside, but they were nice, and everyone was following social distancing measures which made me feel safe. There is plenty of parking since it is in the mall area, and they also have curbside pick up if you don't feel safe coming in stores yet. I came in to hooters planning on getting the Wednesday Wingsday special, all you can eat boneless for $14. The waiter said she did not think they were doing it that since they reopened. I think she should've went to ask just to make sure. This lead me to thinking of something else to order I've always wanted to try the chicken sandwich, so that's what I went with. I also got the side of boneless wings, because how could you go to hooters and not get any wings? The wings and sandwich were both delicious. The sandwich gets a bit messy but it's good. My fries were cold so that's a bit upsetting, to receive old fries when your chicken is fresh and hot. The waiter didn't do refill until after I'm done eating she asked if I would like more pepsi, too late now! She wasn't too good at checking on us either. The service could have been better. But the food was good despite the cold fries. 3 star for no wingsday, cold fries and poor service. read more

Just got discriminated against at the Hooters of Mall of Georgia. Two of us walked in, sat down, never saw a server...even after confronting the store manager. Updating my review: Went yesterday for an early dinner expecting the same great service and was disappointed. We were seated quickly....but our server took 10 minutes to greet us and come to our table. By time she arrived we were ready to order and irritated. this is literally my first yelp review because i am just so shocked from my experience. 2 nights ago i placed an order online. i pick up the order and once i brought it home i was missing the tots. i called the store to either get the money for them back or to see if i could go pick them up. no answer. i call again, no answer. i call a third time and a lady answers and when i asked to talk to a manger all she could say to me was that they were busy. i called again the next day 5 times and no one even picked up the phone. the automated system doesn't work or they just really don't care about answering the phones. i end up going to the restaurant to talk about it. the manager was busy again and i was told it was going to be a while. i asked why they don't answer the phones and all the woman could say to me was "it's a sports bar and it gets loud so we don't hear the phones." excuse me??? i just think that's ridiculous. i gave them my info and am STILL waiting for a call back. awful customer service. read more

Over the past several times I've been here, service has gotten a little lackadaisical and it's come to my attention that a lot of the girls don't appreciate $10 tips and would actually request that the guest leave a bigger tip. I've had this happen quite a few times when they'd see what I'm leaving and ask me to add a zero or change the 1 to a higher number. That in my opinion is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. It's my prerogative to leave what I deem acceptable for the service rendered. I understand you gotta make money, but they need to learn to be grateful of any tip that is left regardless. On another note, was up there on a UFC Night and the Superbowl, absolutely no social distancing was taking place. They were way over capacity for the tables available and my friend and I didn't feel comfortable being there so we left for the Taco Mac down the street. Was up there last night and noticed extremely aggressive moody expressions on everyone's faces, hostess was hostile, brushing off my question about if there were seats available at the bar, by the time she got back, rudely said there was. Whats with the Vegas Slot Machines I saw up there too? The bartender came over to my friend and I as we were discussing if we were gonna stay or not and she interrupted and Saud if we're not ordering anything then get up because she was about her money. We ended up going back to the Taco Mac down the street for much better service and friendlier attitudes. In the end this one will end up like the other ones I no longer visit due to poor service and the girls passive-aggressive behavior in trying to demand you to change your tip for a bigger amount. He was extremely rude and abrasive, he could have approached us with a different manner and we would have been fine , but came out of the gate wanted to start a confrontation. Walked in this location at 11:15 PM on a Saturday for a UFC Fight Night. We were greeted immediately and seated very quickly. We were told in advance that the kitchen closed at midnight and that was okay with us. The wings were good and the beer was cold and refreshing. My fiancé and I were getting ready to go eat at Parma when my parents called and asked if we wanted to join them at Hooters for a light night snack/dinner. We tried to convince them to join us instead, but they declined stating that my little sisters wanted a specific appetizer there. So we said ok, what the hell, lets give it a shot. Victoria was our waitress, she was great; very sweet and attentive. We ordered boneless wings (20); half lemon pepper have honey chipotle. My parents ordered Mild wings (20) and my little sisters the beer cheese and pretzels. After finishing this, Fiance and dad decided to order another 20 pc honey chipotle wings. The pretzels with beer cheese were ok, beer cheese is hard to mess up. The lemon pepper boneless wings I got lacked lemon pepper seasoning and really looked like popcorn shrimp; teeny tiny. Matt liked the honey chipotle sauce on his wings. I thought they were drenched in sauce and thought id get heartburn from just looking at it. He said they were a bit rubbery sort of like calamari. That's where my dad said we shouldn't of ordered boneless wings and suggested he order another round of regular wings with the honey chipotle sauce. They did, and they ate it. While extremely greasy, they did enjoy this better than the boneless by far.. We had some dessert mini's; chocolate, peanut butter and key lime pie. The key lime pie and peanut butter were meh while the chocolate was sour. I feel the prices here are a little high for a chain with nothing at the menu jumping out at me. There was nothing that I just wanted to have or try. Nothing. There were no special deals or anything that would make me want to come back.
