They're making new, fresh ones. We received the chicken and both of our meals were cold. The boneless chicken and the bone in chicken seemed like they were just left overs from a door dash order that forgot to be picked up. We asked the waitress for new meals. She did not appologize just took the chicken back. We started to eat the "fresh" fries that were brought out. The fries were still cold and all crumbs. Finally the fresh chicken was brought out. Well, we made the mistake of trying this place again. It's been a while and we thought maybe it would have gotten better. It wasn't. Once again, we placed an online order, paid for it, went into the restaurant at the promised time and of course, they didn't have our order. My kids and I had great service and food was great too. My daughter realized the next day she forgot her small purse there with only a school ID. It doesn't get much more classy than Hooters: Scantily clad waitresses, eatin' hot wings, drinkin' beer, shuckin' oysters, and christmas lights in the windows year 'round. It's perfect. I've been going to this location for years and years and they never disappoint. The food is awesome, you can't beat the prices, and the service is always outstanding. Personally, I love their TMI (Three mile island) wings and mexicurly fries (which are just curly fries with everything that you would find on nachos typically). Last night I had the hot wings...absolutely delicious...and the lotsa tots, which are tater tots that come loaded with nacho cheese, green onions, bacon bits, and sour cream. Our waitress was great as she was constantly checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed and stayed on top of refills. My only complaints: the music is wayyy too loud. It was a tuesday night, completely dead in there, but we still found ourselves having to yell at eachother over the music. And two...the wings take a really long time to make. Therefore we went in the restaurant and I saw about five other people still waiting for their orders. A manager was sitting at a table playing on a laptop, a lady was answering the phone and ringing up people's orders and there was one guy cooking. Floor was sticky and gross so since someone else reported the same thing days ago, clearly they aren't cleaning the restaurant. I get it that these Covid times alter staff and wait times, so if that was the only issue then so be it. However after paying over $70 for wings and buffalo shrimp, we get home to find there is not one drop of sauce on anything. They were DRY. You must wear your mask when you leave your table and do not go to other tables to talk to your friends or people you know. You guys, hear me out. I know it seems weird for me to give a four star rating to a place like Hooters, but I went in judgement free and came out completely satisfied! We came on a random Thursday night for a quick dinner with friends. Our server was GREAT - fast, funny, attentive, not at all overbearing, and made for an excellent meal (I think her name was Elise). Our whole table was drinking (except me, as per always) and everyone loved the drinks. My husband had a mango mule that was delicious. Drinks were strong and came out very quickly. I had never eaten at Hooters before, so I went with 10 classic bone-in wings, with honey BBQ sauce. Although they were a COMPLETE mess (totally going boneless next time!) they were delicious, served extremely hot, came out fast, and the portion was massive. My wife and I stopped in for dinner tonight (12/15/17) at 6:00 p.m. I should point out that I come to Hooters for absolutely the best bone-in wings you can order. I even put up with being nickle and dimed for celery sticks, they are that good. If only, only, only I could have actually gotten my hands on some of those wings! But it was not to be. After taking our order (10 bone-in for me, 10 boneless for my wife -the heretic- some ranch dressing, two orders of slaw, a diet and a water) the server (Marissa) promptly got us our drinks and left. I mean not left like went home, just stopped paying any attention to us at all. It's Friday night and pretty busy so no one is expecting the food to pop right out. After a half hour Marissa comes to the table (now with empty drink glasses) and brings the slaw, dressing and my wife's order. She assures me that my order will be out in "just a couple of minutes". Obviously one of the first rules of good service is broken by bringing a partial order to the table but, you know, we aren't at the Ritz. And the bone-in wings are pretty amazing. And it's busy. And ten minutes goes by. Then fifteen. My wife is almost through her dinner when Marissa promises me it will only be "just a few more minutes". Then she comes back with a plate of bone-in wings. For the table across from me -who had also arrived quite a bit after us. We're coming up on almost an hour in the restaurant when Marissa comes back to the table (the one with the empty glasses) without - and I'm going to capitalize here for effect - WITHOUT my bone-in wings. Now to be perfectly honest I did not really give her a chance to say whatever it was she was going to say. While I wasn't rude, I was firm in asking for my check. She did start to say something about the manager but I was blinded by the fact that I would not tonight, now possible ever, get to taste those wings for which I had put in an hour of anticipation. When she bought the check there was a nice "50% GUEST RELATIONS" notation where the restaurant only charged us half price. For my wife's dinner. No "I'm sorry". No quick visit from the manager to apologize. The restaurant took $8.38 off our bill in compensation. Now I ask you. Does $8.38 seem like fair compensation for being unable to deliver the menu item Hooters is known for? Does $8.38 make up for an hour of my time watching every patron seated around me enjoying tasty, crispy wings that for some hellish reason could not find their way to my table? My family comes here fairly often & the food here is usually pretty good. If you go when Carissa is working & you're lucky enough to have her as your server...you'll get a 5-Star experience!! We were there on a Thursday, early evening. Carissa is not only completely beautiful but she was very attentive & genuinely concerned in making our experience amazing. I was with my husband and 13 yr old daughter. Even my daughter was talking about how good Carissa was to us. In addition, when the cooks overcooked my husband's husband's burger, they remade it on their own. Granted it came out a little late but I'd rather that, than have them try and pass it off as OK! This was a bad experience, glad I didn't go their because I would be very upset in person! We ordered through Uber eats. I requested 20 fried wing no sauce on both orders of 10. One came naked not breaded one breaded same instructions with both getting sauces on the side. The supervisor explained that their is naked and all wings are fried I requested no sauce naked meaning no sauce as they have put sauce if you don't specify. It was the supervisors condescending tone that set me off, she was not nice and refered me to go through Uber eats, they refunded the error unlike the hooters supervisor who didn't want to be bothered nor offer any assistance for the error. The wings themselves well, for the first time didn't look fresh and looked like they were re-cooked for the ones that were fried. Taste wise they tasted dry and over cooked with burn spots, and way to crispy due to the fact that most likely they re-cooked them! Hooters has two problems here, the wings and the staff! The supervisor who was dismissive of my concern! I spent $77 on absolutely bad wings! $77 from hooters/Uber eats that I won't get back but for the fact that Uber eats addressed my issues and I was able to get $20 back. No customer service at Hooters just attitude! This will be it for hooters, will not visit them again either in person or through a food service! I recommend a different better alternative for wings!! Normally I never have issues, and I wouldn't really say I had issues this time I was just turned off by how gross the place was, our table was dirty and sticky, the seats were dirty, the bathrooms were gross, I left there needing a shower lol. It's either this specific location or Hooters in general, but my recent experience on 12/10/21 @ 8pm was terrible. Went in with two people (so 3 of us total) and the service was extremely slow. The food was terrible. I remember this place having amazing onion rings, what we got was depressing, 8 or 9 little rings. Our mozzarella sticks were barely warm. My favorite thing about this Hooters is that there's a men's friendship club that meets once a month at this location. What's a men's friendship club, you ask? I have no idea, because my boyfriend refuses to go and investigate for me, but I do know that they recruit members by posting fliers at my local Jewel-Osco. To say that I'm intrigued would be a gross understatement. Now, being a vegetarian, you might not think there'd be much here for me- but you're wrong. I'm the kind of gal who just loves grease, salt, and all things fried so coming to Hooters is a nice little escape from the the all too familiar health food of the vegetarian world. My go to treats are the curly fries with that melty jalapeno cheese, cheesy tots with no bacon, cheese sticks, quesadillas, and the grilled cheese... all with a side of their wing sauce for dipping- regular hot please! The service here is aight. I've learned my lesson here and I know not to come during the winter months anymore. It's just too dull and dreary... not even the hooters can change that. Greatly improved after a year. I came here unexpectedly after my first restaurant choice wasn't open on Mondays. I just wanted cheap and greasy, so Hooters would definitely do the trick. We were greeted at the door, seated immediately, and our server was out in a flash to bring us menus and take drink orders. The drinks are huge, so you don't need refills as often. She asked if we wanted seconds and brought a third before it was finished. The food was all out by the second drink and it was hot and fresh. The wings are just as good as I remember them. Personally, I LOVE Hooters. Buffalo Wild Wings wings are tiny, tasteless & I just can't find the right sauce there like I can at Hooters. With that being said, this Hooters is SUPER stingy with their sauce. Always ask for double dipped wings. Also I'm usually shorted a wing or two when ordering 20+.
